I reached out to Irish castle asphalt, and I wasn't happy with the way it came out . You can clearly see a bunch of brush strokes. I reached out to them. They had a guy come out the next day to look at. It told me they did mess up. They'll have another guy call me to fix the problem. Unfortunately it's been over two weeks and I haven't heard anything at this point I don't want or need your service anymore. I do not recommend this business at all very unprofessional.. read more

From the initial quote through completion Irish Castle was outstanding. Not only were they the lowest price but the quality and service were over the top. They communicated every step of the way. Pat came out several times and explained everything to me about the process and after install. I had a wooden privacy fence installed after they removed the old driveway and after the driveway was laid one of the gates was very tight and required a cut off the bottom, one of the guys happened to be a carpenter and took care of it. The attention to detail was above average too, they started pilot holes for the front gate rods and even made on when the gate opens, I would've have even thought of that. I didn't have a driveway installed but my neighbor did, Irish Castle took up the old driveway and left it exposed for almost a month. They had every excuse why they didn't finish the job quickly they blamed the weather but ..... in that 3 1/2 weeks of gravel driveway it drizzled once. I do concrete for a living and poured over 3000 yards in that time, the job is finally finished. It looks good but if you're looking for a timed job to be finished in a timely manner I'd look elsewhere. read more

Huh, this place is a mixed bag. The work done was good & the workers were professional & courteous to me & my neighbors. The office on the other hand, is very unresponsive. We put a deposit down in April & we're told the work would be done in 4 to 6 weeks. It happened 6 months later. I called several times just to get an idea of when something would happen & never got a call back. My husband had to call someone's cell to get a response. After our driveway was excavated, we waited an additional 5 weeks for the asphalt to be poured. The bill was supposed to be mailed, but never was. They sent emails to my husband, instead of me. They also forgot to deduct the down payment in the final billing. I sent them a check (their paperwork has 2 different addresses) & it took them 3 weeks to cash it. If you don't mind unresponsiveness & are sure to keep all your paperwork & watch their billing, you could use them, just be patient. read more

Irish Castle beat the other estimates which varied quite a bit. Our driveway is quite long and they also had to remove the cement underneath the existing asphalt. From initial estimate to the payment afterwards, the process was very seamless with minimal interaction. Had sever buckling a year after purchase and I knew was ONLY guaranteed for 1 year. I just wanted it fixed even at my expense. I called and talked to(I believe) the Mom and she left a message for her son to call me, NEVER DID. Another 7 months I spoke to Mom again and she claimed she spoke to her son and would speak to him again. AGAIN NEVER HEARD FROM THIS GUY. Not sure how Irish Castle Asphalt Paving received 3 1/2 stars! They repaved our driveway a couple years ago and did a truly bad job. There was a nearly driveway wide depression that held water about 2 inches deep when it rained and would have been an ice rink in the winter. When we called to have them repair that and several other areas, they dumped more blacktop and rolled it instead of cutting it out and replacing the black top correctly. This just made another problem, having a mound in front of our kitchen door. They never coated the areas that they "repaired" and those edges have chipped off no matter how we pounded bags of blacktop on these edges and seal coated. Their desire to make the situation right was non-existent! I would do it yourself rather than call them. read more

I had a gravel driveway. It was horrible in winter...couldn't use the snow blower because gravel would shoot everywhere and couldn't shovel since the shovel would keep getting stuck in ruts. And in the spring with the rain, forget it...a mud pit. So, I knew I had to get the driveway paved. I called all over and by far Irish Castle Paving was all around the best choice.
