Great Irish bar. We had just come from another bar nearby, which was not fair, as that place was amazing as well. I would normally give this place a five star rating, but after crazy amazing service and eating at the prior bar I feel that wouldn't be fair. This is a great Irish bar and we would go back in a second. If you are looking for this kind of bar, this is your place! Currently here for a pub crawl with our cruise. Bartenders are not friendly at all. My drink came with no garnish and no straw however other people in my group got both (different bartender, equally rude). This bar was paid for our drinks that we paid for with our package. The singer on st. Patrick's day was awful. Couldn't finish a song without pandering to the crowd and played his own crowd noise after every song while no one clapped. Vulgar when it was completely unnecessary. Killed the vibe. read more

The music and the vibe was fantastic and the beer was cold, then we ordered food...We ordered after a lengthy wait for service our appetizer arrived, mini corn dogs that came out hot and dark brown....upon further inspection and turning them over, each one was burnt on the bottom which meant the chef passed off a bad cook...Sent them back and they came back perfect in 5 minutes....Piping hot and golden brown with an excellent spicy mustard. I ordered a grilled fish sandwich which arrived with a huge amount of perfectly cooked french fries and the tail section of what looked like tail section of kingfish....It smelled fishy, never a good sign....took one bite, sent it back......On a positive note the Rueben sandwich was acceptable.....Not the barmaids fault at all. My bad as the best thing to do at an Irish Pub is drink and sing. As a side note visit Kevin Barry's in Atlanta which my son in law owned....Same vibe but with Great Food.... read more

This is our go to bar every time we come to Key West. Always great music with a side order of sarcasm which I love. Beers and drinks are cold and the servers are great. Right on Duval Street in Key West. A must stop if you like live music and a fun vibe. It's all inside so it's nice place to get a drink and cool off when it's super hot out. They have a Guinness chugging contest, and great live music. We stayed for a while one night. We didn't try any food, but a must stop for a drink! read more

We were not huge fans of this venue and can't say we'd recommend it. They were not an Irish bar and were had a performer on stage playing country music for the hour or so we were there. They are a standard bar with high top seating and full bar drink options. They were hit or miss on masks. They did have a sign asking patrons to wear them in, but we saw a couple patrons walking to / from the bathroom without them and no server asked them to comply. We were mid conversation and enjoying our drinks / appetizer when the stage performer decided to randomly do the national anthem and asked everyone to stand and look at the flag while he played...while we were eating....in an "Irish" bar...just weird. Don't think we'd go back here if we are back in the area. Overall: C Decent drinks but a miss on COVID restrictions and weird performer with a very-non Irish vibe. read more

My husband wanted an Irish Coffee - where else to get one than Irish Kevin's?! Stopped in and asked the very nice bartender if they made them and sure enough, it was amazing - with whipped cream on top in a fancy glass no less! I was actually pretty impressed and so were the couple next to us (so much so that the guy decided to order one himself) - this place seems like a place you can get yourself into some trouble later on into the night, as at 2pm on a Sunday, people were already having a darn good time in here lol. Absolutely a fun Key West bar. We walked on in and sat at the bar. The guy playing the guitar was a riot. He pretty much asked you where you were from and then told you what was on his mind. It was like a cool dive bar vibe with a comedy show from the musician. Our bar tender was very nice and thought we didn't order any food, she recommended the Reuben sandwich and the loaded tater tots. The serve Irish coffee and other traditional Irish fare but this bar really reminded me of some of our favorite Nashville bars. That's why they received the 4 stars, unless your totally drunk and need to absorb some alcohol just don't get the food! Yes we are in key west and food is overpriced, but for what we got it was not worth it. Wings weren't crisp or close at all. Basic hot sauce which was fine. Burger was the most decent thing but nothing to rave about. The Reuben not much corned beef in it, but way to much too much thousand island dressing just made it a sloppy mess not worth getting. Irish Kevin's is a fun lively place. Especially if you are Irish! They have great shirts you can buy and the waitstaff is attentive. Music was the same each day from around 1:00 - 6:00 but the singer couldn't remember the words. He brought lots of energy and worked up the crowd, mostly the guys doing shots but I wish he could at least sing the right words. Food was typical bar food. Bathrooms pretty clean.
