This company was hired to clean my dryer vent. They charged me $206. The technician, Dylan, never went up on the roof , never removed the end cap, and essentially NEVER cleaned the lint. The resulting blockage destroyed my dryer, and left a potential fire hazard. I reported this error to the company and they didn't care. I highly recommend hiring a competent company for your maintenance needs. read more

I initially was going to give it a 1 star review for how poorly my carpets were cleaned but after speaking with the manager I am absolutley floored! I have never been spoken to the way he spoke to me. I simply told him I was dissatisfied with my service and he literally YELLED AT ME, THREATENED ME, hung up on me,! The so called "customer service" was absolutley atrocious, vile, ghastly...the list goes on! If you look on Google reviews (and possibly yelp reviews as well) there are a plethora of reviews that talk about this man yelling at people! It was truly unreal. I have never had anyone speak to me the way he spoke to me! Please beware. It's not worth using them. It really isn't. Use a reputable company with reputable customer service who will help you if something goes wrong. I am still in shock at how he spoke to me. I have to first say I don't like to leave negative reviews, however, the person who I finally talked to was out right rude, yelling and it wasn't a very good customer experience. 1. Experience scheduling not good On their recording when calling them, it asks to schedule on line Email comes back saying "We received your your response for Irish Mist" It NEVER says appointment is CONFIRMED 2. customer left feeling very UNSURE if anyone will show up 3. recording when calling says "We will be in the office tomorrow at 9am" Called two days in row with same message. So you wonder if they are on vacation and not in office at all. In the meantime I got another company to come out to clean my carpets. 4. When I Called Irish Mist a third time, I finally got a hold of a person. I told him the situation and he was very very rude, yelling at me saying appointment was confirmed. NO WHERE on the form did it ever state CONFIRMED I NEED a Confirmation!!! 5. I said to cancel and he was very angry saying I could not do that, said he left me a voicemail which I NEVER received. Irish Mist did not phone or text ahead to let me know they were on their way to clean my carpet. Time of service was not confirmed. The male on the phone who I spoke with was absolutely rude and condescending when I asked him a question about service time. I ultimately, decided to not move forward with them. Irish mist was hired to clean my air ducts. When they were finished, my heating and air unit did not work. Wires were no longer connected inside of the unit. The manager assured me that Irish mist would pay for a heating and air technician to fix the problem. Long story short, I had to take Irish to an online negotiator. The owner at that time did not tell the truth. And would not pay. They were forced to pay the service call for the heating and air technician. When I received the check from Irish mist to cover the cost of the service call there was a note from the owner stating that I must withdraw any negative reports /reviews regarding their company. I checked with the negotiator who stated I did not have to. As long as the statements were true. I will never do business with this company again they are not honest and do not keep their word. I couldn't recommend this company more if it were my own. Not only are they professional, they show up on time, call when they're on their way and they go beyond their normal expected job. In an emergency, Irish was closed on a holiday, I had tried another company(once) and they didn't even come close. I had to call Irish to clean up what the other company had done. this is the second time we have put this company to do our carpets. The first time they didn't show up at all and I had to call them only to find out they were canceling. Today I took off work because I had a morning appointment and they called to let me know they couldn't be here until the afternoon. They did a great job cleaning both the dryer vent and the heating ducts. They were here on time and completed the job quickly.

I wouldn't trust a company to perform any other service that can't successfully clean out a dryer vent and not finish the job by leaving the remnants all over the yard. wife called multiple time to discuss with no success. they finally followed up only after we revoked 50% payment (To fill out yard with dryer lint they had to have at least some the first part of the job by getting out of the vent). Then when I called to find a peaceful resolution, whoever it was that responded to my call argued with me, essentially calling us liars based in his "notes in the computer" and threatened going to court over 1/2 of $175. No bud, you can't come clean yard lint up after 40 days of fall Michigan rain and wind!? 2 stars is too high from end to end...can't complete a simple job, and awesome customer service. read more

They provided a 4-Hour window and then they said that they were going to be one hour after that 4-Hour window 10 minutes before the window was up. So they would have been super late. I then waited for that hour they still did not show up so I called to cancel because I had plans later that day. And I asked to reschedule for the next day because they screwed up and they did not have anything available so I moved to a different company. i am somewhat shocked about the bad reviews, as i had a great experience with irish mist. if the guy on the phone is the owner, yeah maybe he is a bit gruff and blunt. but i was able to have a conversation with him. the tech who did the work was pretty awesome, courteous and efficient. he came in, got to work, did the work, cleaned up after himself, and left. the price isn't the cheapest out there, but i feel i got my moneys worth and they are not the most expensive company. would call them again when needed. read more

My mother's ducts in her house was cleaned by Irish Mist USA. They were timely, called ahead to confirm appointment. They cleaned her ducts, furnace and HRV unit. Everything was cleaned very well and in a timely matter and would recommend them to others to have their service done by them. read more

The guy was very nice, but 5 rooms and the stairs only took about 30 minutes, which seemed WAY too fast to be done well. The carpet was SOAKED, wet even 36 hours later after having left powerful fans blowing on it to dry it out. I finally used my cheap Bissell carpet cleaner on it to pull more water out, and then the next morning (48 hours later) it was finally dry. The reason I got it cleaned is because we are meticulous about our house, and pride ourselves on it not smelling like dog. The bedroom was beginning to smell like dog , but the office and guest room did not have any odor at all, but I had it cleaned because he was here. It smells A LOT worse than it did before it was cleaned because it was saturated so long. I hate to leave a bad review because the technician was very nice, but I think they must just have old, ineffective equipment. It was a complete waste of money, and I am now going to replace the carpet. read more

I scheduled Irish mist to clean the carpet in 5 rooms. The time window they gave was 2-6 which is a little ridiculous by itself. I called the office at 1:45 to see where we were on the list but the gentleman who answered said the information was in another office and he would call me immediately. I was told someone would be over between 10-2. I said my kids would be home to let them in. At 2:30, my daughter said no one showed up. When I called and asked what the deal was, this guy answers and tells me he DID in fact show up-and was pounding on the door but no one answered. I insisted my kids never heard anyone knocking at the door and had been waiting for his arrival all day. And then he said THIS to me: "Maybe you should be the "man" of the house and take off your belt and use it on your kids when they don't answer the door!" I was so shocked that I just said "no, I'd never do something like that" and he just laughed.... It was so unprofessional and disturbing. I'm glad they didn't show up!!! I scheduled my carpets to be cleaned on April 30, 2021 for May 11, 2021. Appointment time frame 10:00a.m. - 2:00p.m. I telephoned their office at 2:00 p.m because the carpet cleaner had not called nor showed up. I was placed on hold then the call was disconnected. I called back and was told I would receive a call back in 3 minutes. Three minutes turned into 30 minutes. Half my day was a waste waiting for the carpet cleaner! The guy showed up 3 hours early but ok I can scramble for this. He came in in his flip flops said "you know your furniture will be wet". He asked me no questions. Worked for 10 minutes to clean my white couch with chaise and a carpet. Told me he was done cushions scattered many on our leather chair ,water all over the wood floor and everything absolutely still dirty. No smell of any sort of cleaner at all. I asked him to hit a spot again which he did very begrudgingly (and its still 100 percent the same btw). I paid him and off he went 20 min total from set up to driving away. Exceeded My Expectations! Based primarily on a coupon I'd received in the mail, I took a chance on these folks and am glad I did. Super service. Great attitude. Superior product. I set my appointment from 2-5, and was surprised when Mike called and asked if he could come EARLY. Cool. He was very personable and supremely professional. Unlike other cleaners that I've had, he put down some pre-treatment and then did the rooms. Here's the bottom line: His work picked up stains that had been there from other cleaners. Not that others had done a horrible job, but that pet stains were still visible. Mike and Irish Mist removed what others couldn't. That Mike was personable was yet another plus. Frankly, my goal to to get a clean carpet at a reasonable price. I was so pleased, that I provided a nice tip to Mike. His service and quality finished product has earned my strong endorsement.
