Mindi the owner is the sweetest & takes a great deal of pride in her work! It is nice & airy inside & spotless clean. I wish I would have found this place a long time ago! I got the basic Aloha pedi & basic mani. The pedi is excellent with nice calf massage & sugar scrub for $38. She also did a fantastic job on my cuticles. I see the owner responded to my post! I got my nails done 9/20 and on 9/22 I called and they said I could not get a refund. So no it wasn't two weeks when I called it was TWO DAYS. I got hung up on as well! Also I told them I have not gotten my nails done in a long time! Over a year if we want to be exact. so you trying to blame those cuts on "a different business" is incorrect and quite funny! Absolutely amazing work everytime from Mindy! I followed her from her previous location and I do not regret it. I always receive compliments on my nails and they last/hold really well with my job (I work in a grocery store). This was the last set I received but she also does designs. I have done cow print, spring flowers, chrome, and French that favor my nail bed. If you have a picture Mindy can do it! The aesthetic of the shop is also beautiful!! Not bright lighting besides the natural light from the windows, her pedicure (and the manicure) chairs are super comfy, popular music but also cooking videos on the tv. I tried this salon because it was brand new and opened up right by my home and unfortunately, I will not be going back. My nail technician did nothing I requested burned me three times and cut my finger. I walked and a man asked me to check in and what I would like. I stated I wanted a French manicure dip and a pedicure. He asked me to pick a color and I did and the wrong color was brought. He asked if I wanted the old dip removed and I said yes. I thought that was standard though. I didn't know it was an option let alone an extra charge. It's 6 to remove with service and 12 without. The nail tech started to file down my old dip and the next thing (after burning and cutting me) she starts painting the acrylic onto my nail. Now you can see a "refill line". She asked if I liked it and I said no because I could see this line where my old dip was. She said if I wanted dip she would have taken the old off. I said I did want a dip and I told the man that at the front counter. The pedicure was not good either. My cuticles didn't get removed, no callus removal and for some reason the man came over and completed my second coat. When he asked me if I liked my nails because I do believe the lady doing my pedicure knew I did not like my nails. She told him and I explained to him how I wanted a dip not an acrylic paint and that now you could see the old dip line on my nails and I did not like it. I also let him know how I was cut and burned, and he told me that there was a miscommunication between her and I. I did let him know that he is the one that told her what I wanted and I told him exactly what I wanted so if there was a miscommunication, it was between him and her. All he did was offer me a 10% discount and I still ended up paying $102. There was another lady on there who was having the same issue with my tech about not doing what the customer wanted and if she wanted that it was an extra charge. I do t expect this place to last long if that's how they will treat people. I shouldn't have had to pay for the nails as they aren't what I wanted and I was cut and burned. She held the drimmel in on spot too long 3 different times. read more
