Because of this, you can hear everyone talking and everything going on out front. Additionally, the massage bed was hard as a rock, and the face rest was very uncomfortable. It's a bit of a trade-off: a skilled masseuse, but a noisy and uncomfortable environment. If they added real doors for soundproofing and upgraded the bedding, it would be a much better experience.

The scrub wasn't even applied to my heels--it was rubbed on the top of my feet, and it hurt, like sand scraping my skin. At one point, the masseuse left the room to help a customer at the front, which completely disrupted the session. When it was time to remove the scrub, it clearly needed water, but I was barely given what felt like a damp paper towel. To add to the confusion, during the last two minutes of the massage, a different man came in to massage my legs. He seemed far more experienced, and I didn't understand the sudden switch or why he wasn't the one assigned from the beginning. He clearly knew what he was doing. I came in already having a rough couple of days and was hoping this would be a relaxing treat for my birthday . Instead, I left feeling more stressed and truly disappointed.
