I recently visited Iron Age and had such a great experience. The atmosphere was lively, the grill stayed hot the entire time, and the service kept things moving so we were never waiting long between rounds. It's definitely a fun spot whether you're going for a date night or with a group. For meats, my favorites were the seasoned steak, soy pork bulgogi, and the Hawaiian bulgogi -- all were well-marinated, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You really can't go wrong with any of those. The sides were just as good and really completed the meal. I especially enjoyed the grilled veggies, kimchi, and the cheese cream corn (which was super creamy and a standout). Also, don't skip the lemon drops -- they were really good and paired well with the whole experience. Overall, this is one of my go-to Korean BBQ spots in the area. Great food, great vibes, and a place I'd definitely come back to.

Great food and service. Our server brought out more meat and sides in a very timely manner each time we asked.

Our #1 Korean BBQ spot. We have tried Numerous other Korean BBQ places, but this is our favorite. AYCE around $35 dollars a person. Their sauces are awesome, my favorite is the sesame oil and salt and pepper blend. Their best side is their spicy rice cakes! We are in love with the Beef Bulgolgi and the Iron Age Marinated Steak! The room is dark with awesome lighting. K pop is on all the TVs and speakers. You cook your own food, but the servers assist you as needed and change out your grates to prevent cross contamination. Well worth the drive to Catonsville if you love Korean BBQ.

We actually had one of the best experiences ever the last time we dined here. Wait time was only a few minutes & our server made the greatest impression. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name. He told us he'd only been working there fur about a month and a half, but he was on point! The food is always good! Duh, that's why we return... Lol! Oh and we do enjoy the environment... We love the K-Pop videos!

They open early 11am that worked for us. The food was good service was awesome for my family first time as a Mother's Day lunch

The waiting was long since it was Valentine's Day, however it wasn't as long as in other places. The staff was pretty welcoming and helped us from start to beginning with an excellent mood. That was nice, since it was a little hectic, they kept it professional. The food was good as always, our server, Daniel, made our VDay dinner the best we could've expected on a crazy day. From their steak cuts, I think the Iron Age one was our favorite. And of course the classic bulgogi meats

Iron Age in Maryland? While I'm used to going to the Iron Age locations in Northern Virginia, I was up north visiting friends while we decided to try out Iron Age for dinner. Pretty much if it's dinner time, there's going to be a rush and a long wait. We did wait about 30-45 minutes but we were able to pass the time by visiting the food court next door. Pretty much Iron Age offers what you'd expect from most KBBQ places. You got meats and small dishes (banchan) that you can eat to your heart's content within 90 minutes. That's pretty good if you are someone that loves protein! If there's any downside, the music is a bit loud so sometimes it's hard to hear what the server or your friends are saying.

My first time here and definitely not the last. Everything was delicious including the fermented radishes. I was surprised that my 5 year old and I enjoyed it. We tried the chicken, brisket, pork, and bulgogi beef. All of the meats were flavored well and tender. My only wish is that they offered boba. Our server Winny was amazing!

Iron age is always a fun spot for korean bbq! It is loud but its part of the experience! They play kpop music videos on their big tv screens. Its all you can eat so you can try lots of yummy options. The servers are always friendly and attentive. I gave 4 stars because sometimes the quality of the meat is just ok - but usually good! The beef bulgogi, iron age steak, and brisket are my go to meat options.

Iron Age is consistently a very great experience. It's perfect for date night, celebrations, and just a good vibe with friends. Eating here can definitely get pricey if you add in alcohol and your party is 4 or more (it's an automatic 18% gratuity for 4 or more ) . Overall this restaurant is one of my favorites and always a recommendation for those wanting to try "something new" Side note: I want to make sure Kevin, the server I've been getting lately, gets his flowers. He's a really good guy and super cool!

Food was average imo. Cheaper meat in great marinades. The salad dressing was amazing. Service was very good, almost to a fault. Like over attentive at times. It seemed like they turn the grill up and down to control how much you eat. It didn't bother us as we weren't in it for quantity. It has a cool ambiance but I could definitely do without the blaring K-pop. We did it for the experience but wouldn't go back. I'd much rather have a meal cooked for me and served with my own sides as opposed to only being allowed 1 side at a time per table.

They do have pork belly. I had some on my visit yesterday.

They do not charge extra for the birthday celebration as long as your reservation is within at least a week before or after your birthday. They will charge extra if your birthday is on November the 10 but the reservation for your party is November…

They have a late night menu and they are open until 1 am. We ended up getting two bowls one salmon and the other was grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was seasoned to perfection. It wasn't hot it was room temperature. What lost me was the sauces that go on top. I ordered all 3 so that I could see which one I liked. White sauce taste like yogurt .... Ahhh no thank you I wasn't expecting that. The red sauce is like a spicy ketchup but it just didn't do it for me. The green sauce was mild somewhat but not good enough for me to spread across my bowl. That's the one sauce that is close to my liking but it's not quite there yet. The salmon bowl we ordered the purple rice and it taste like regular rice just colored in my opinion. Corn was cold .The salmon wasn't hot when I dug my fork into it no steam or anything came out so I'm not sure how long it sat before we received it. Mind you we ate inside of the restaurant so there was no gapped time in between preparation and delivery. We did order french fries and I must say they were really good. Again not hot but room temperature. We did try the signature lemonades, rose and mango flavored. The mango flavored was delicious the rose was okay. I did have something floating inside of my lemonade that was green mind you I didn't order anything green ( lettuce or guacamole) but once I told the guy at the register he quickly corrected it and gave me a newer one. I went on a Sunday evening and it wasn't busy. I'm on the fence about this place I may go back but if I do I may just get chicken wings and the loaded fries. They are open late so you never know.

I ordered the bulgogi bowl with rice - my husband got bulgogi with fries thingy, my son a Gogi burger and Spicey bacon fries and we got daughter the carne with fries. My daughter's carne with fries - which we specifically asked for no sauce or cheese - bc she's a very picky eater - took well over 25 minutes to make. All of us had our food and she was crying (she's 7) bc she was so hungry and didn't like anything we had. The food cost over $70 and honestly I was semi pleased at best. My bowl was so so rice heavy with not enough meat - and it didn't taste like Korean bulgogi. It was good - but not bulgogi. The meat and fries combo was almost all fries with little meat - so again - we paid $70 for fries and rice - and my daughter didn't like the carne at all and ate her fries. My husband likes the bulgogi fries but again - little bulgogi - large amounts of sauce and fries. The best thing was the churros. The reason I'm giving a 3 is bc I was to love this place. This is my dream combo - I love Korean and Mexican food! And you can't find halal everywhere. I just am disappointed at the wait time and the prices for what we got.

I really like that you can customize your bowl with additional toppings. I added shrimp, a soy-braised egg, and karaage fried chicken. They were a fun and tasty way to finish the meal. I also like the convenience of being able to order by phone or at the counter.
