Good food but very slow service. I've been here a few times and service always seems to be lacking. I'm not sure if they are short staffed but the staff there seems to be working very hard. The assortment of banchan that they provide is good. This was my first time getting cabbage with a side of fermented bean sauce and it was really good. Seafood pancake: overall good but may not be the best I've had. It's a good size for the price and definitely shareable with friends. Fried fish with bean sprouts: I'd give this 5/5. The fish definitely has a lot of bones but the flavor is perfect. Be sure to try this dish!

We've come to this establishment on several occasions over the years. It was not until recently that we found out that they are open on Saturday mornings at 8.30AM. Sometimes we want to go out for breakfast/brunch but aren't feeling pancakes and bacon. This was a great treasure to find. The story behind opening earlier than others, apparently, is for those that had a late night and wake up with a hangover =) Service was on the slower side, since they don't expect many patrons that early (we came at 8:30) and they, themselves, also showed up at 8:30. Plus, I think they're just used to going at their own pace, which is fine. You're not waiting a terribly long time, but it's not the fastest. There is a tiny bit of a language barrier, but other than those things, service was great. We got the Dogani Tang (ox knee tendon soup) and the Mandoo Guk (dumpling soup). Both flavorful broths, comforting on a chilly morning. The dogani tang had plenty of tendons; the mandoo was very filling. The price was good for delicious home-style cooking.

You know it's a traditional Korean restaurant when the decor is as nice as Yet Nal's and the bonchon that can be purchased at the front are only written in Korean. I did come with two friends that were able to order the dishes while speaking Korean. I briefly read over some previous reviews, and can understand that the service has likely been inconsistent. I'd be lying if I said that the good service wasn't related to the fact that I was with Korean friends. If I went myself (as someone that can't speak Korean), I may experience service differently. I loved the variety in the bonchon we got at our table, some ones I've never had before at a restaurant, like the acorn jelly! Also, the kimchi was one of the best I've had! We also got iced barley tea as our drink, and it was very refreshing and a good substitute for water. We ordered 4 dishes for 4 people to share: ox bone soup, military stew, seafood pancake, and bulgogi over rice. The ox bone soup was my favorite - the broth was rich and flavorful! This one you have to add salt and pepper to taste, which I appreciate as people can have different preferences in saltiness! The seafood pancake was also very tasty. I'm not a big seafood person but this dish was also a favorite of mine! The military stew was a little too sour for my taste, and the bulgogi was just okay to me! Overall, I love the decor, bonchon, iced barley tea, ox bone soup, and seafood pancake.

Yum! This is a great place for Korean food. The service was great and the waitress was very friendly. She was able to explain a lot about the menu options. We were even able to get decent drinks here. I can't wait to come back to try more!

Ordered the bossam (boiled pork and vegetables) at around 5:15pm and it was ready for pickup within 15 minutes. The menu also looks very nice I'll definitely come back for other stuff for sure

    Spicy pork and kimchi

If you want some spicy pork and bossam this is the place to go, my friends and I were fighting over the food it was so good! There was tons of flavor in every bite! We loved it. As soon as you walk in and walk past the counter someone greeted us and sat us down. The place looks like a Korean tradition restaurant. The restaurant was pretty packed but we came between lunch and dinner time so there was no wait. The server came right over and told us when we are ready to press the button on the table, which we love, it gave us time to decide what we wanted. As soon as we pressed the button someone ran right over to check on us! Highly recommend, even worth traveling too, yes it was that good!

Maybe the cook is different but how does one forget twice that someone is allergic to shrimp? I couldn't eat 3 of the dishes that we asked not to have shrimp in. I have neem here befire and loved the food and the attention paid to service... but it was way slower than last time, and they decided not to pay attention at all and serve shrimp 3x. Avoid if you have an allergy. They said in korean "wepl everything here is made with shrimp, sorry" but it isn't true. Oh well. Maybe different cook and different rules. I won't risk my life though. Everything I could eat was fine.

Been here a few times but realized I haven't yelped the place. Around prime dinner time, it was well occupied mostly by Koreans (the place isn't very big inside). The menu has typical staple dishes and they all had solid effort. Side banchans were ok, the cucumber kimchi tasted a tad bit too old though. There are so many korean restaurants on Rt 40 so it might be awhile before I return here.

The place is kind of hidden but worth checking out. When we entered, got seated right away. As soon as we sat down, waitress came around and took our drink order. By the time she came back with our drinks, she took our food order. We ordered seafood pancake, military soup, galbi rib soup and bulgogi with rice. All the food items we ordered was tasty and good. I'm definitely coming back to try other menu items. One star deducted due to environment (not as clean as I would like it to be, dark), waitress could at least "act" like they want to be there...she wasn't mean or rude like other reviews but she didn't smile at all and was grumpy.

We tried out a combo meal of 6 with ribeye, sirloin, mainly beef. The servers also grilled and cut all the meats for us which is nice. All side dishes are pretty standard like most other Korean restaurants. A delicious bowl of steam eggs came with the meal, wish they would at least offer two bowls for a party of 6 and surprisingly no rice came with the combo. We had to add an extra order of steak and seafood pancake since no one was really full with the combo. I would say this place is for those who have high expectations of fresh & premium meats. You will not be stuff or over indulged because it can be quite pricey. Our bill with tips & taxes was about $55 per person. It's a bit pricey for lunch and I wasn't even full. If you never been to this restaurant before, I recommend that you try it out at least once but I don't think we will be back here anytime soon.

The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly and checked in on us often to make sure we didn't need anything. The food was delicious and fresh. Details: They are located in the route 40 shopping center area near HoneyPig/EC Diner and the venue is a pretty modest sized location. There's still a decent amount of seating (standard table and chairs) with small-ish bathrooms. The menu items range from like mid 10s to mid 20s on average depending on what kind of protein you're ordering. The portion sizes are pretty generous. I think my favorite menu item we tried was the snowflake dumpling. Very aesthetically pleasing, but also tasty and crispy. The banchan (side dishes) were fresh. As far as the flavors go, I was happy with all the entrees. The dishes had the depth of flavors you hope for when you eat soup like these. The meats were also tender and well cooked too. The space itself is really small and definitely gets busy, so be prepared for a bit of a wait or tight seating. Prices are also on the higher side (around $20 per dish), which adds to the expectations. I will say, the service was warm and friendly, which I appreciated. Overall, if you're not making Korean food at home, this is likely your best local option; but I might stick to my own bone broth next time

We ordered various dishes from their LA Galbi, Bossam, Fish and tofu soup combo, seafood pancake, spicy pork and their rice cake soup. The LA Galbi was the best we had in town. Tons of flavor and the meat was juicy and meaty. The Bossam was delicious. Pork was tender and comes with sides to help you bring out the flavor of the dish. Definitely ask for their bean sauce and slices of jalapeño and fresh raw garlic. The fish and tofu soup is really good and can be shared with others. Fish was fresh and flaky. The seafood pancake was thick and has tons of seafood and comes with a nice dipping sauce. The spicy pork was plenty and has tons of flavor. Not too spicy. The rice cake soup was surprisingly good.
