We got loads of bids but liked Iron Auto's up-front, clear, informative message. Their quote was not the cheapest but it was in the lower 1/3 and they're bonded and insured. Then we could NOT get hold of them on the phone. I sent an email saying we were about to give up on them. Turns out they were moving offices and our message was what let them know how badly the new phone system was behaving! That's fair, I've had it happen myself. We got a very professional but sincere email back from Aaron, classy as can be, understanding our position and willing to hold out the offer (gas prices were starting to rise) if we decided to let him be of service. We thought it over and decided to give him the chance. The contract involved a discount for being willing to wait 1 to 3 weeks for pickup. The truck picked it up the very next day. Big points right there. It had to be delivered to an address on a tricky dirt road. The truck driver, a 2nd-generation long-hauler, was smart: he parked the rig on the good road and call up, then checked with the local (me) about the best way to get on his way safely. That way, the remaining cars on the rig stayed safe, and ours was delivered in the same condition it was picked up in. Perfect. So, despite a bumpy start, we wound up getting a better service than we paid for, and were truly impressed by Aaron's classy response to two cranky people amidst a cross-country move. The great response to an initially bad situation is what earned the 5th star, because that's even rarer than getting everything right. read more

So I normally don't do reviews but I'm doing this one because I relied very much on reviews to make my decision .. I have read some horror stories on the internet so I was very skeptical of who I picked to ship my car .. I had much lower offers (I also had much higher) but let me tell you paying the extra little bit of money is soooo worth it .. I had absolutely no problem with this company .. they always got back to me and always answered my questions and didn't disappear once they got there money after finding a driver for me .. I couldn't be happier .. and the driver they picked to transport my car was awesome .. I believe the company was Essa and the driver was Jason .. he actually called me a day early .. he was super nice and kept in touch with me .. I never had to get a hold of him becuz he let me know everything on his own every step of the way .. I was so terrified I was going to have a bad experience becuz of all the horror stories you read on line but you guys truly made the experience great and I couldn't be happier with the carrier you sent to transport my car .. soooo super happy .. would definitely use you again and recommend you to someone else if they need to transport there car .. thanks sooo much! .. take it from me people I did 4 months of research and this company is the best with the most reasonable prices! This company False advertise and lie to clients, they told me over the phone Andrew that they own their own trucks. I ONLY booked with them since they promised me they are truckers not brokers! guess what? NOT! Terrible things happen when people are dishonest. Dispatch quoted $450 to transport t NY. They located a driver and suddenly added $100 to the cost. I would owe the driver $350. Iron Auto Transport got their cut from my credit card and then threatened to not complete the transport if I did not agree to allow them to increase the price. I agreed to increase the charges by $50 as a compromise. Driver arrived and said I owed him $450. That was not the agreement that I had with them. Vehicle arrived on Sunday when I could not dispute the charges with Iron Auto. This is a scam that they should not get away with. Also, there was never a written contract on this job. I cannot recommend this broker. At first they claimed to own a fleet of trucks. Later they acknowledged that they were brokers and would locate a trucker to deliver my vehicle. Beware of this operation. Turning a valuable asset over to them could be risky business. This industry needs regulation. read more

This was one of the most seamless processes I've ever dealt with . Iron Auto delivered everything they promised , quicker than I even expected . I looked around and found many cheap quotes and decided to give a different company a shot . I did one last search of said company I started reading the horror stories of no contact and awful customer service . Aaron and the shipping carrier he used were great . I had a Nissan Titan shipped from California to Florida . I signed the documents on a Thursday and the next day the carrier was already calling to pick up the vehicle . The driver was very friendly and loaded the vehicle with caution . I received my Truck in just under a week from the day I contacted Aaron and started the process ! This was on the 4th of July weekend also ! If you're shipping a vehicle make sure you realize that these things do take time and to give yourself at least a couple of weeks in case a driver isn't available at that time . I truly loved this service provided by Iron Auto Support!! I would highly recommend this company. I moved from Dayton, OH to Phoenix and did not want to put any mileage on my car so ultimately decided to ship it. I was extremely nervous since it was my first time using an auto shipping service but this was an absolutely stress-free experience. I was able to get a carrier for my requested pick up day and my car arrived in Phoenix safe and sound and even sooner than expected! Everyone that handled this process was friendly and honest. I was even able to put up to 100 lbs of my belongings in the trunk of my car before I shipped it for free! That really made my move much easier. Great experience! The rep was friendly, answered all my questions via email/phone and didn't make me pay an upfront deposit. Contract was easy to understand and easily completed online. The transport cost was very reasonable and was exactly what I was quoted. Good communication with the person that actually picked up and delivered the car. I hired Iron Auto Transport to ship my car(SUV) from Phoenix Arizona to Washington DC on October 24th 2016. They gave 5 days for my car to be in DC but I was greatly surprised when they called me to inform my car was even there before in 3days. I made my plans to get there myself at that time to receive my car but the car was way there before me; so they had to find a place to store it at no extra charge and wait for me to go get it. Our experience was terrific, from the initial Iron Auto Transport to the final drop-off yesterday, transporting a 2018 Toyota Tundra with al the bells and whistles from Florida to Michigan. Extremely professional, in all regards, a bargain at twice the price!
