Requested car transport from L.I. to Boynton Beach. The service has been getting worse lately. Ordered service on Dec. 19, and was supposed to be delivered Dec. 22. When there was no call for delivery, called and asked about it. At first the excuse was heavy traffice then when it wasn't delivered the next time, was told a car wasn't ready to be picked up and had to wait. Again, a date and time was given, no show. I was then told it would be 9am on 12/25. When called at 10am, as it was a no show, or even a call to change the time, was very nasty. Said was sleeping and was screaming, as it got to him. Lied about the time he said the day before. The last time it was 8 days until I got it. It is now 6 days and there has been no delivery. read more

I can't even tell you how many people I spoke to you about shipping our car from Miami to New York. I spoke to brokers whose prices were all over the place and when I asked about specific dates from all of these brokers They were very vague. The more brokers I spoke to you the more wary I got until I spoke to Mickey. He's not a broker, he owns the company so you know exactly who is shipping your car. It was such a breath of fresh air after weeks of dealing with people who would give me prices that were all over the board without any exact dates. We were having some difficulty finding someone who could transport our vehicle out of the Florida Keys. All companies that we contacted were unwilling to commit to a specific time pick up and to dropoff our vehicle (other companies would just quote a "range" of pickup and dropoff times). Also, we were only able to speak to customer service reps at other companies, who were not the ones actually transporting the vehicle...then we found MDJ. Mickey answered the phone when we called, worked with us to meet the timing requirements of our move, he showed up on the date that we needed pickup, he dropped off the vehicle on the date that we needed, and he was easy to stay in contact with throughout the entire process. I live near Philadelphia and purchased a car near Nowhere, Tennessee, and figured it would be easy to find a transporter online. Boy, was I wrong. Trying to find a driver directly was near impossible. You have to deal with all brokers. This industry is unregulated, so it's like trying to navigate through shark infested waters. Almost every broker had a one out of 5 star rating from REAL customers. While trying to check the reviews of one on yelp, MDJ had an ad on the review page (which was, of course, a 1). Mickey is an actual driver, which is near impossible to find. I called him, and he said he only goes NY to Florida and back. I asked him if he could set me up with someone REPUTABLE, and he said he would broker it for me at a VERY fair price. I verified with him that it would be a REPUTABLE driver, properly insured and with a good trade rating, and he assured me it would. Mike called me several days later to see if I still needed their services, and they set me up with an excellent driver who delivered the car in less than 22 hours in perfect condition.
