I wanted a company that would mill 2 inches off my asphalt driveway because the second layer was largely turning into gravel. They were the only company that did not argue with my request. I was totally impressed with the prep work: milling and cleanup. They even considered my requests to eliminate areas that had pooling after storms when they prepped before laying a beautiful smooth layer of asphalt. My experience with Iron Eagle was extremely disappointing. I hired the company to resurface my driveway and specifically discussed drainage, slope, and elevation concerns before the work began because my home and garage had remained dry for 100 years. I was assured the driveway would be properly graded away from the garage and foundation areas. After the work was completed, I experienced cracking, drainage problems, vegetation through the asphalt, and water intrusion toward my garage and basement areas. The asphalt elevation near the garage was significantly higher than before, changing the drainage pattern around my home. I contacted the company multiple times regarding the problems and provided photographs. Responses were inconsistent, delayed, or ultimately stopped altogether. What should have been a straightforward home improvement project became a lengthy and stressful dispute. One important lesson from my experience is to be very careful about payment method. In my case, I paid cash and did not have the consumer protections that would have existed with a credit card if workmanship disputes later arose. After researching further, I was concerned to find other customer reviews describing similar issues involving drainage, grading, workmanship concerns, and difficulty obtaining follow-up service after payment was made. My advice to homeowners is to get every promise in writing, carefully document slope and drainage expectations before work begins, inspect the work after the first rainfall, and use payment methods that provide consumer protection. read more

Hired Iron Eagle last summer to resurface my existing blacktop driveway. The driveway looks just OK, not great. My house is on a corner and there was a massive amount of asphalt debris in my yard, in my driveway drain, and in the street. They were ready to leave without any clean up until I said this debris needs swept up. I felt that they should leave my property in the same condition or better than when the arrived. Seems it was too much to ask. I asked Stan Golub about the driveway drain that was full of debris and he said "Oh that will just wash away down the drain". Seriously? I had to remove the grates and scoop out all of the debris myself. Also, the corner of the section between the sidewalk and the portion that continues to the street is uneven so that when it rains, I have a small pond in that corner. I called Stan and Iron Eagle to apprise them of the issue and they said "Where is the water coming from?" Again, Seriously??? They said they would have to come out after it rained to see what the issue was, however, I'm still waiting since last September 2024. Basically, sloppy work and no response after they collected the money. read more

I can't say enough nice things about this company. They were the only ones who responded back in regards to asphalting our driveway and I'm glad they did. Frank, the salesman, was quick and efficient in getting a professional, written quote to us. They were out doing the driveway as soon as the weather permitted and didn't destroy anything or make a mess. The owner personally works on each job and was running the big equipment! Frank even came out the next day to wipe off some overspray that got on our house like he said he was going to. Very nice, reliable, and honest people. read more

I just had a 17,000sq.ft. drive put in I hope and can't say enough bad things they won't come back to fix things and dumped junk on me and the neighbor and my 11ft drive is 10.4, speed bump coming in my drive, what was not to change changed all in their favor, stupid me hired them and then paid them.
