He uses stainless steel rings and studs for all his piercings unless you have an allergy and was also willing to let me bring in my own jewelry (no other shops will let you do this because they want to up charge you like crazy for the jewelry). Aside from those things he is clearly very experienced at what he does, and was incredibly kind and patient with me as I tried to decide if I wanted to follow through with the piercing. Would definitely recommend him and go back. On a side not he takes walk-ins which is a godsend when it comes to trying to schedule appointments during Covid. But the atmosphere is very laid back, no pressure and they answered all my questions very easily. The employees are all very friendly. They work well with each other and are professional but fun at the same time. Some people came into the shop just to hang out which was cool. Jeff did an excellent job with both of my tattoos. I gave him some pictures that i liked for some inspiration and then i came back the next week for the tattoo. He came up with his own design which we talked about and made some minor adjustments. After he put the template on my arm, he went to work. Jeff is very hygienic, artistic and i could not ask for more. I have one tattoo that is now a year old which looks great. It's a business, not a clubhouse. All were buddies of some employee. - Shelves and shelves of Funko Pops. Piercing person told me the owner had them as an "investment". Nah. I should have walked out then- that's on me. - After my piercing, no aftercare advice or instruction was offered. I asked for some info and was offered a printer-paper trifold pamphlet. Had to ask google for more. Piercing care is essential and should be gone over before and after the service. Would NOT recommend this place. From my understanding outside of flash days -- or if an artist schedules a specific walk-in day -- the shop is appointment only. At the time of this review, the shop is all women artists. I mostly mention this because the 1 star reviews the shop has on yelp indicate the artist was a guy those reviews are a bit out of date. The shop is kinda small for three tattoo artist and a piercer, but it's a clean space and has a cozy/chill vibe.
