Food is good. For the most part, dishes have great flavors and plated well. Service is another story. When we walked in, it was not busy. There isn't a lot of attentiveness and apparently communication either. A server took our order and then another showed and seemed bewildered that someone had already taken our order because it was her section. First coffee we got wasn't really more than room temperature, but we let that slide, mainly because it seemed like few servers. Our breakfasts showed hot, but then our server disappeared. We wanted refills and ended up asking the bewildered server to bring us coffee. She disappeared. Original server showed back up with the check and we asked her for coffee. She left the check, said she'd be back and she disappeared. Other girl showed with the pot about 10 minutes later. This is not the first time that we have been here this has happened. Not sure it's a training issue or lack of staff. I'd hate to be here with it busier. It's sad when I want to spend cash to support restaurants and it becomes easier to deal with it on my own.

Celebrating a birthday with Tuesday morning breakfast and cocktails was a great way to start the day. Our server was Kirsten U and she was amazing. Hearing about the birthday she offered a free Berry Rootart which was scrumptious - lots of berries and that familiar Pop-Tart fried dough flavor - yummers! We also got free bacon for being on LocalToast. The birthday cocktail was a Strawberry Mimosa that was delicious. We shared a huge platter of breakfast nachos and even had some leftover to enjoy later. It was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday at 10 AM, but Kirsten provided exceptional service.

Was seated as soon as I walked in. Friendly waiters. My business partner and I order some shareable and I must say that the fried green tomatoes was delicious.

Iron Rooster has to be by far the best breakfast I have ever had. When I say the food is delicious I mean the food is delish! It was my birthday and my sister surprised me with breakfast and even when the food arrived it was still fresh. The eggs, the waffles I mean everything was just right. You have to try it. See the pictures for yourself.

Quick and friendly service, delicious food!! The roostart flight was adorable and a great way to try the different flavors!

I'm here from a suggestion by a friend. After reading a few Yelp reviews, I cringed. Let's hope this is my best dining experience this trip. :-) The wait is 20-30 minutes for a party of three. The time went fast. I love the spacious entrance and decor. I pray everything else measures up. The was a great first time experience from the greeter, to our server Kirstin, to meeting the Chef Caleb and new Front End Manager Nick. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had looked at the menu in advance to see what I had a taste for. I ordered the Breakfast Combo with bacon, scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and 1/2 a waffle. Everything was tasty and the eggs were so fluffy. I peeped on the menu that if you followed them on any social media platform you'd get free bacon. Well!! Kirstin walked me through finding them on instagram. That 4 free strips of bacon completed my meal. The Chef was serving guests their meals and even assisting other servers. We stopped him to express our appreciation of the meal. He was very personable. Kirsten was attentive throughout our dining experience. The restroom was presentable. The orange makes it bright. On the way out I shared with a staff member how pleased I was especially after some of the reviews I had read. It turned out he was the Front End manager. He was moving the entire time making sure everything flowed. He even took our picture when asked by my friend and closed the shade to avoid a glare. That's going the extra step. Based on today's experience, I recommend Iron Rooster Hunt Valley. Yum! This is at the top of my vacation week.

Eh. Food was good to ok, but service, while very friendly, was subpar. Honestly, I think management needs to retrain the staff, as I'd don't feel the servers were intentionally obtuse, I think they just didn't know better? Examples- we were served food with no silverware, waffles with no syrup, bottomless coffee was hard to track down. Took a while for us to even get water. Within 3-4 minutes of being seated, we should've had water on the table. Had a reservation which was honored. Started w/ a brown sugar pop tart which was delicious and probably the meal highlight. I got an eggs Benedict which was good, potatoes were cold. Overall, the food was fine but the staff needs help. As I said, they were friendly but too many mistakes for a well established restaurant.

Yummy food, convenient location, and we always have great service when we go! This is a larger space so I feel there isn't a huge wait even on their really busy days. Lots of parking available as well!

Food was excellent. Portions size is big. Will need a box. Place is bigger than it looks. Great service. Great find!

Delivery comes with mini roostart but if you eat in, kids don't get one. Just FYI:)

We've been ordering breakfast for delivery from Iron Rooster for years. I've been in for lunch, but never breakfast. We had family in town and decided to try it out. We were seated quickly but it took about 10mins for someone to come to our table. We had a toddler, so it felt like a lifetime (iykyk). We ordered everything at once and they didn't write anything down, so inevitably a few things came out wrong. Which was fine with me bc mine was right and my family that got wrong orders didn't feel like saying anything. My food was delicious, I got the brisket hash. It was lacking a little zazz, so I put their fire honey on it and wow, it slayed. We got my son the face pancake, which he usually gets. I asked about the mini roostart that comes with it and she said, all the kids meals come with it except that one. Which annoyed me a little bit bc when you order for delivery it comes with one, so why would you get less for coming in to eat? Idk. Another thing that was annoying was we didn't get waters and we got no refills on drinks. We will try another location next time or just stick to ordering in bc we do enjoy the food.

Have heard great things about this restaurant chain for a while and decided to give them a try while we were in the are to cross off our list. Food was pretty good but service was EXTREMELY lacking. Understanding we were there for Sunday brunch - but it wasn't crazy busy and we barely saw our waitress. We got the free bacon for liking their Facebook page and roost tart was excellent. Restaurant was very clean and seemed very family friendly and not loud or crazy for brunch.

Nothing needed. Cheesesteak potato pancake tacos: 15/10-steak and potatoes seasoned perfectly. Pancake had crispy edges but still fluffy, sauce added a little kick. Nothing needed. Strawberry Mascarpone wafer French toast: 15/10-The PERFECT "I want something sweet" choice without indulging in cereal or ice cream. The strawberry and light cream were heavenly. Home fries were crisp and seasoned. Perfect for 2 kids to share The Wild West: 10/10 very fresh ingredients, good flavor and portion. Recommend. The Washington Ave: 10/10- I added Feta instead of cheddar and that sent things over. Huge sandwich. Flavor packed. Might want a little more sauce. Cappuccino: 8/10 a little too much milk (hot skim milk) Strawberry mint lemonade: 10/10 I recommend breakfast lovers get here!

They have a variety of mini markets and food vendors in the building: bbq, seafood, spices, bakery, pickles items, clothing, furniture, butcher, handmade crafts, fresh made pretzels, etc. They also had an area to sit and enjoy your food purchases. We also picked up a half of a coconut cake, a slice of strawberry cheesecake, some apple butter and blackberry jam, and as we exited we got the glazed almonds and cashews. This place seems big, but it is manageable to walk around and check out all of the vendors. Upon tasting, our ribs were good: perfectly seasoned and fresh; the wings were rotisserie roasted and were good as well; the cake was just ok for us fresh with coconut flakes held on by white buttercream; the strawberry cheesecake was just ok; the glazed nuts were good as well. The menu is absolutely enormous and the interior lacks character and charm with uncomfortable bench seating and scarce decor. I opted for an omelette which came with pepper jack cheese, bacon, pico de gallo, and a dollop of sour cream. The description was unclear about whether it came with home fries and bread or the option of either home fries or bread. When I asked our server about this, he gave me a mixed response and seemed confused himself. I told him IF it comes with bread, I'll need the gluten free option which ended up being pretty good. My boyfriend got the blueberry pancake which he seemed to love. He also got a side of their "million dollar bacon" and "the works" omelette. There was some more confusion from our server who thought he wanted to sub the bacon in the omelette for the million dollar bacon but he ended up asking for our clarification before any mistakes were made. My omelette came out first and it was dry and overcooked. Definitely not a fluffy omelette and the half a spoonful of sour cream wasn't helping. The home fries were SO salty and that's coming from someone who has a savory palate. I couldn't finish them. My boyfriend's omelete came out and was a lighter, different color and looked a lot fluffier which makes me think mine was kept on the skillet too long. The million dollar bacon was just bacon covered in maple syrup. It was so disappointing and definitely not worth the almost $7 for 4 pieces. We had to chase our server down for our check in the end. Our meal ended up being over $50 for the two of us. Considering the quality of the food and service, I wouldn't say it was worth it. This is the kind of place that pretends its "farm fresh" but really is the same quality as IHOP at a slightly more expensive price.
