I really wanted to give this place five stars! It's in my neighborhood and a small diner. I get take out from here often but this was the first time I physically visited and had an onsite experience. The food was fantastic! I have always had great food here so that is consistent. I ordered the Rib Eye Steak with eggs and hashbrowns. Delicious! Savory! Yum! Our waitress was super friendly and food came quick and the order was just what we asked for so all good there. I checked in on Yelp and saw the free beverage offer so I asked the waitress about it. She had no idea and said she would ask someone and come back. Another person came over and I showed them the app and the offer and the check in but they were also saying they didn't know if they could honor it and went to get the Manager. The Manager came and basically said it was fraud and she didn't know about Yelp or what it was and started telling me that they don't offer any discounts on food and if I order it I pay for it. I explained it was just for a beverage and that it was ok if she didn't want to honor it. She said she would return to our table and needed to check something. Ultimately when we paid for our food at the counter after waiting 10 minutes for her to return, the discount was honored but just poor communication and poor choice of words during the conversation. Waitress was great, the older woman who was the Manager not so much and as she started talking over me getting louder and louder, she even took off her mask and was so close to my face I was uncomfortable because since I was eating I was unmasked. Small parking lot but also easy to park. No alcohol. Restrooms were not filthy but also could have been cleaned more thoroughly. When you enter there is a huge pile of papers and business cards on a table in front of a cork board with the same type of content. Could use a good cleaning, paint job and some redecorating for sure. I may still order carry out/ delivery. Local diners like this struggle to compete with larger restaurants and I love the food. It was so empty in there as in addition to us there were only 3 other tables occupied. I'm going to still support them as they are in my neighborhood but definitely won't visit anymore. Sorry folks ... it's only a 3 this time.

One thing I love about family owned business, you are guaranteed great hospitality and good food. I been riding past this dinner for almost a year and finally dined in . Quick service and our server was very attentive. I order the country fried steak with a side of eggs toast and home fries. Very tasty.

I went to dinner here yesterday with friends. All the food served looked and tasted delicious. My friends got matzah ball soup. I got the French onion. These soups were delicious! I ordered one of the posted specials, flounder Florentine over linguine. Absolutely delicious, and a large serving! Fresh spinach, lightly sautéed and the perfectly cooked flounder tasted like it was cooked in a franchise sauce with exactly the right amount of lemon over a mountain of linguine. I highly recommend going to the Reisterstown Diner. It's not just a place to get an excellent breakfast!

I wandered into this diner while waiting for my car to be serviced at Len Stoler Lexus, which is about a quarter mile down the street. The food was ok, service attentive and the prices reasonable. The decor and appearance leaves much to be desired though. Mix match chairs and no color synchronization. If it weren't for me being close by, I would not have stopped in. Nothing spectacular. But whenever I need to get be in the area for car maintenance, I will stop in.

Chili w/Cheddar Cheese & Onions (Minus the onions)

So this isn't my first review of The Reisterstown Diner, but we tried new things yesterday so I figured I'd let everyone know how good everything was, just in case you're considering one of the following: Their Chili. The Chili was delicious! There was just the right amount of heat - not too spicy, just a little kick. It can be topped with cheese and onions, but I skipped the onions and just got cheese. We ordered take out so I was expecting to see just a sprinkle of cheese on top once we got home, but nope...a nice layer of cheese was on top and melted gooey cheese makes everything better. A lot of meat, and a good amount of beans, so it's very filling! I took some of the home fries from our meatball sub meal, and topped them with chili (enter fat emoji here LOL) and it was SO GOOD!! Meatball Parmesan Sub Either we never noticed this menu item, or it's new. Either way, we decided to give it a try and the gamble paid off. It had huge homemade meatballs (with no weird fillers), provolone cheese, and the perfect amount of sauce where you could taste it, but it didn't ruin the sub roll and turn it to mush. Instead, hours later the leftover portion was just as good as the original! Strawberry Shortcake I expected to have one of those "shortcake" cakes from the store, or homemade cake biscuits, topped with strawberries and whipped cream. WELL....this resembled a layer cake somewhat. It was 2 fresh, soft, tasty white cake layers with a strawberry filling layer sandwiches in between covered in a very light and "whipped cream-like" icing, topped with a nice size strawberry. I loved it! There was no artificial taste whatsoever and tasted like it was just made fresh that day. Since it was layered, you were able to get a taste of each part with every bite! It wasn't heavy or overly sweet, so it was a delicious ending to our already amazing lunch!

They have good food and good portions. They now add a 5% surcharge due to the "high cost of doing business". I won't be going back

If you are looking for Mediterranean food that is fresh, flavorful, and filling, this place is a great choice. The restaurant itself is more of a fast casual style setup, nothing fancy inside, but do not let that fool you because the food was excellent. I started with the falafel appetizer, which came with five falafel balls, tzatziki sauce, and a fresh little lettuce and tomato mix on the side. The falafel was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, warm inside, and very fresh tasting. The tzatziki was a great match and everything had a clean, homemade flavor. For my main meal, I ordered the Big Greek Feast and it was a ton of food. It came with gyro lamb meat, grilled chicken and pork skewers, pita bread, feta cheese, a pepper, and a lemon wedge, plus two sides. I chose rice and salad, and both were excellent. The salad was very fresh and surprisingly filling, and the rice was seasoned perfectly. Everything tasted well prepared and full of flavor. Portions were generous enough that I could not finish it all and ended up getting a second meal out of it, which is always a plus. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the bathrooms were very clean, and overall the experience was great. This was an excellent stop for Mediterranean food and I would definitely come back again.

We unknowingly arrived during their grand opening! It was a great experience from the customer service to the live music. I really wanted to sit down and eat, but my little one wasn't having it! We ordered gyros, spanakopita, and baklava. The gyros were not my favorite they were way too salty, spanakopita was delicious, and the baklava was fine. I'm definitely willing to return as I had a good experience overall. I would be happy to turn this 3-star review to a 4-star.

The ribs are absolutely delicious, and the burgers and fries never disappoint. I've also had the salmon and the brick-style flame-grilled chicken, which has an amazing smoky, flame-grilled flavor and is always cooked just right. This bar does not give any presentation or flair to their non alcoholic beverages. Pom and Circumstance was zesty and sweet . The Half Moon drink was nothing more than grapefruit juice with a cherry . I was expecting more presentation since it's literally a tonic. I would like to mention that the bar was slammed with guests and the tables were not getting their drinks on time. So, maybe it was a slippery Sunday night for the bar and my zero proof drinks lacked in pizazz. The watermelon salad was a wild card choice as Glenwoods does not have much fresh fruit on the menu. I wish it was not so chunky ... chunks of watermelon and tomato covered in a balsamic sauce and feta cheese. This salad pairs nicely with the arugula. The sides were hot and came out expeditiously. The burger was undercooked and the server offered to re-Fire a new burger. 5 out 10 night .

My son and I were looking at the Menu to do a DoorDash order, all of a sudden, my husband stated, "We can just get dressed and go to the store." Great idea! From the time we walked in until the time we left, Service was A++++++. My husband asked my Son and I if we wanted to stay or go home, I'm so glad, we chose to stay and eat in. As we sat there waiting for our food, they were getting busy. All of a sudden, the Manager came from out the back and began helping. He washed his hands and started assisting on the Front Line, once that was caught up, he then washed his hands again, and assisted on the Grill. Never looked like he broke a sweat. Omg, and the Young Lady that helped with the Desserts, Customers, taking Orders, bringing Orders to the Table, was amazing! She didn't break a Sweat either! After my family and I received our Meal, I just couldn't stop watching the positive things that I saw. I went to the Register to speak with the Manager to explain how I was truly Impressed with the Service that was bestowed upon us and others. The young ladies name that kept that store flowing like it was nothing, is Leynah. She has a wonderful spirit, and didn't allow anything to Steal Her Joy. She is the Best!! Please, give her the recognition she deserves! And, I would be remiss if i didn't mention the young lady that was helping gather the ingredients. From the time we walked in the Store, she was smiling, I felt so welcomed. I'm so sorry sweetheart, I didn't get your name. Thank you All, so much for your service.
