The equipment is outdated, and while the cleaning crew does a great job, paper towels were always empty -- I ended up learning where the storage closet was so I could refill them myself. They also push personal training too aggressively and don't seem to pick up on social cues. Many women aren't comfortable being trained by men, and it would help if they simply asked during signup whether you'd prefer a male or female trainer. When I submitted a letter to cancel my automatic training renewal, the younger girl at the desk was rude and acted like I was a bother. There's also constant employee turnover.
