I am very picky about germs and wouldn't even keep my membership if it wasn't clean. I have done water aerobics and 15-20 laps in their pools, heated and not heated, and I have never had anyone playing music louder than what a cell phone plays... and they were playing it because nobody else was using the area. They turned it off as soon as I came in to the pool area. Now... when water aerobics were taking place, then yes, the music was on a speaker because you can't move to the music if you can't hear it. The staff has always been friendly, and they even used to have a trainer that could assist you when you have questions. I'm not sure about now because I don't need one at this time. I'm strictly working out to maintain, not to lose weight now. I have lost 75 lbs, so I think I have a good grasp on how this gym operates. You will love it.

Unfortunately, our experience at this Crunch Fitness location was disappointing because of the customer service we received at the front desk. The employee who helped us, Gabriela, did not greet or acknowledge us when we walked in. When we tried to ask questions, we felt like we were inconveniencing her. Her responses came across as annoyed, unclear, and unhelpful. We did kindly bring up how the interaction was coming across, hoping it would improve, but the experience continued the same way. What surprised us the most was learning that she is training for a management role, because managers have such a big impact on the culture and environment of a gym. We understand everyone can have a bad day, but kindness, communication, and making people feel welcome go a long way, especially in the fitness industry. We hope this feedback is used as a coaching opportunity because we truly love supporting gyms and the people who make them great.

I had came from a really nice gym closer to town that was newer but much more pricey so because of this and my fiancé, I decided to give TruFit a chance. My experience with this gym is not a great one but not a horrible one either. I'll explain. The equipment is fair and it just seems like it takes a little longer than needed to get anything fixed. Since the merge with the new name it seems like they are revamping the place, which is a big plus but it still needs a lot of work. Dumbbells and misc equipment is always missing. I do believe it's mostly up to the member to return the weights to its designated area but I also do believe they should have staff helping to keep weights & equipment organized and in order. The men's restroom always needs attention of some sort. For some reason at least 1 urinal is always broke. It gets fixed but it's always something. I do give them credit for trying to make it suitable for its members but I believe it could do a better job at maintenance the restrooms and equipment. I understand it's going through a process of change at the moment & that's why I will not give it less stars because change does take time. Due to this, I will give them the benefit of doubt. Hopefully by then most of these issues will be addressed and it turns in to a great place that I know it can become. A future review will be provided once the gym is completed.

One week later, no call back. Calls to ask again...., sorry you canceled with our old system and unless you have documentation (The YMCA did not provide, just a simple "you're all set".) So, several months after trying to leave, I was continuously charged and basically told "our bad". We can't reimburse you unless you provide documentation that we didn't give you.

Celina did an excellent job guiding us through the Beyonce vs Shakira ride. She was encouraging and also challenged us a bit. Although Cyclebar can be quite expensive, this location seems to offer some really good and much appreciated ride specials. It's definitely worth the investment. Cyclebar is tons of fun and will quickly whip you into shape especially with a healthy diet and if you attend regularly. It's addictive in the very best way and the community you'll find at Cyclebar is like no other. Pro Tip: Go to the 5 AM or earliest class of the day.
