As an alternative, I was offered the option to split the massage into two separate sessions. That completely defeated the purpose of booking a couples massage, so I declined. Unfortunately, the next day I received another call 45 minutes before my appointment informing me that another masseuse was sick and I would need to reschedule again. I was told the cancellation fee would be waived for my partner--which immediately made me question why a fee was even being considered in the first place when the cancellation was not my fault. I eventually rescheduled for a later date and was informed that the massage would be with one male and one female masseuse. During the massage, the male masseuse made me uncomfortable, which was disappointing since I had specifically requested female therapists from the beginning. Throughout the session, he was breathing very loudly and yawned multiple times, which disrupted the relaxation experience.
