Absolutely the worst customer service and horrible movers. First day on the job so they damaged my items and were drinking and smoking weed while on the job. They never finished the move and I could not contact them to get them to get the rest of my stuff. I did a local move with this company and it was great. However, I scheduled a move from Florida to Ohio and it quickly became a NIGHTMARE. I confirmed with the owner that his guys would be able to do the move in 2 days. Even asked if they needed an extra day. I drove alone with two dogs in a car to try and beat them to my destination to ensure everything went smoothly. I arrived to my new place in Ohio and finally got in contact with whom was driving my truck of items and he said he would arrive the NEXT MORNING. A day late. I called the owner and he was not apologetic, just said he would call operations and then call me back. He never called me back and then avoided my phone calls for the next week. I ended up having to get a hotel with my dogs, which wasn't cheap after paying $4000 for my move. I was pushed around to multiple different people to try and get a refund off my total amount for the price of the hotel, i was offered $50 when my hotel was over $200. Everyone i spoke to was so nasty on the phone with me and did not care about my situation. Finally one gentleman offered me $175 off and I agreed to pay $1325 of my remaining $1500 owed on my bill, which I did not sign to authorize payment for this amount. I then see the next day they charged my card $1325 and $175. I called back multiple times to different people and the gentleman who originally offered the $175 said that he could no longer honor that discount and he 'did everything he could'. I am now in the process of disputing the full $1500 with my bank as I never signed the contract to authorize the final amount to be taken from my card and my money was ILLEGALLY taken. Moving Stinks!! That being said I am so glad I used Irontree Movers. They showed up on time and packed everything up. (no breakage). This company was truly professional. I received a quote prior to moving and surprise surprise surprise, no gotcha charges or rate changes. The bill was exactly what we discussed. We contracted to have our move done on 11-23 back in September, they call thd night before the move and say they have to change the date to the 24 th !! We had email confirmation on the 23rd . We had to take another day off without pay from worth accommodate them !! Rob the guy who does the contracts never gets back to you , I left 2 messages to confirm got no response from him . I hired Iron Tree movers to move my elderly patents from a storage unit in Jupiter to an apartment in Palm beach Gardens. They were supposed to be there btw 8-9 am. STAY AWAY!!!!!!! They are the worst moving company in the Palm Beach area. Upon hiring we specifically asked them to charge us extra to have three movers and they agreed. Moving out of a three story town home, they explained by law, that three movers was a requirement. The day of move in, the movers were over an hour late and only two showed up. During the move I have never experienced such poor attitudes from the movers. Caught one of the movers several times, sitting on the chair and not doing anything. Half an hour in, he was outside puking and pretty much sat in the truck the rest of the time and constantly asked us for water. DO NOT get me wrong, I always provide water and sports drinks for our movers. It was frustrating to me that he had constantly asked for water as I caught him multiple times just lounging around. When we got to our new place they started to unload everything off the truck and as we started to unwrap everything, there was a huge crack in out glass cabinet, our water dispenser completely broken and unusable, and dent in our furniture. We moved from Mississippi to Georgia with this company. They were more than 24 hours late to start the move, showed up with half as many trucks and men as we were promised. We had to recruit day laborers for them to replace the laborers they promised. Because they used NON-Professional movers, serious damage was done to our furniture. Avoid this company if at all possible. They have a very helpful sales team, but their actual moving and logistics staff is dreadful. read more

Iron Tree won't return calls or texts. They have my belongings.They were to deliver week ago. I have texted and left messages No return call. I now don't have any underwear uniforms I am a nurse. I have no nursing license no clothes but a few. If I was rich I could just buy more but I am a senior widow with only my income. I haven't worked since Iron Tree picked up my belongings. What did I do to deserve this? I paid half and now I have no bed clothes shoes underwear sheets documents nothing. What did I do wrong? I am a Senior widow. I have suffered enough. I worked all through the Covid gave my best. Why would Iron Tree keep my stuff. They were supposed to meet me in Pensacola right at i10 public storage but they didn't show. They didn't call. Not 1 call ever. Won't return my calls. I am paying for empty storage. Iron Tree does not care about me.tgeybtxed me earlier and blamed me for every one of their unprofessional behavior. I now may have to go back to west palm beach and sit outside of their storage to see if my stuff is there I begged them to please follow through but they replied it was all my fault. The guys were really nice that moved my things. However, the way they stacked it in, and smashed it into the storage unit I cannot get any of my things out of it. Also I think $641 to move my few things two miles is an outrageous amount of money. I will not use this company again or refer anybody to it. And I'm not usually one to complain. read more

This company needs to be shut down by the state of Florida. They have a recurrent pattern of snookering consumers in with low estimates and then doubling the bill when the move is done. Most reviews by consumers indicate excessive damage to personal property with little or no reimbursement for losses despite the fact the company claims to be insured and bonded. Karmas a bitch and hopefully it will catch up with this company someday. read more

The worst moving experience ever. They smashed my 65" TV , they used switch and bait tactics when you are hiring the crew., told me three men would move me for only $325.00 - I told Shawn that price is unbelievable low, he said they are new and building a reputation. The crew that moved me took 9 hours to move a small condo, and only move 20 miles. When I was setting the bill, the manager on the phone up charged me to $1300.00 - I told him I had in writing the original quote. He said your move took longer than normal, I reminded him that his crew was slow and one guy did nothing but smoke cigarettes the entire time, that I had to do most of the work. All my stuff was boxed and ready to go, just had to wrap tv, some furniture. Taking to long was an insult to think how slow they were. They blame the elevator, I'm an operations manager and the organization of the three men was like watching the 3 stooges in action. Beware of this company- bad bad bad I had to encourage there pace and motivated them as a customer, they finished at 7:30 pm and started at 9 am. Also the day before there truck broke down and I had to take an extra day off from work to move. They were not apologetic or good communication about the status of moving me. I almost lost my $500 move out deposit from my condo because of the uncaring of the floors and walls. Don't use these movers!!!! Ps- I only received $70 for my $1500 TV! I used Iron tree movers for a recent move from North Carolina to Tennessee. While I'm going to say there was a lot of miss communication Iron tree did not live up to expectations. First of my dat of move changed by 2 days and I notified them a more than a month out and was told over the phone no problem original date was 16 DEC 2018 and the new date was set for Friday 14 Dec 2018. Well shame on me I took some ones word for it and didn't get it in writing so got screwed there they showed up early morning of the 17 Dec 2018. Well the head crew man seemed competent and I thing he was and worked hard. Now this was a white glove move I was not suppose to have to do anything but watch and they would pack everything and move it. Well I had to get on the road to be at my destination for legal paper work in TN on the 17th so I left the head mover in charge with instructions of what to move. I have a lot of stuff. Well the head man ended up handling a few things that he should not have had to deal with, He did a great job at that and I thank him for it. Everything from a guy picking up a car that was left behind to I gave a check to my AC guy from a closed account (man was he pissed and I don't blame him but He did get paid plus any charges he occurred) The problem is I have several Items missing. Some things I can understand. There was a work crew there doing repairs and my De Walt 18v impact driver was left, no Biggy. Now the rollers to my Grizzly 3 hp wood planer that was bolted to the planer on each side well 1 of them is in another dimension it never got to the new home. I'm missing 2 Waltham 1890s pocket watches, They where in my desk to send for repair on the 15th of Dec and never showed up at new house. These are the things that bug me the most but there are a few other items missing and a couple of small things broken but ill get over it because I don't think there is any thing I can do about it. Any way the move was already late and it took them several days to pack the house and my shop. They arrived in TN midmorning of the 21 Dec 2018 Talking about getting home for Christmas already way behind schedule and in a rush to get home I empathized with them and again I allowed them to move boxes in to the house and bolt rather than force them to do the setup that I paid for! Then came the big hit I was over my weight allowance and got a second charge of 1800.00 dollars now this is after the month before the move they sent a rep to estimate what would be needed for the move and given a price of that, I was told there could be an extra charge if I went beyond their estimate weight. Man what a scam this is. So now I let them get out of here because its late night on the 21 Dec they have to go to Florida for their company then to New Jersey or New York to be with family and I'm not going to be the guy who keeps people from family at Christmas (retired military and spent plenty of Christmases deployed.) All in all it was a miserable mess and the owner of the company was like well we weren't required by the contract till the 16th so we have till midnight the 16th to be there (and yes he said this I should have gotten the new date in writing that's on me but he is still a P*&% for being this way. OH well live and learn new rule in life ALWAYS GET IT IN WRITING and make estimates be within 10%, I new this but got soft. Don't do it! DO NOT use this company. We moved from one location in Port St. Lucie Florida to another but had a 13 day break in between where our home contents were placed into storage. The day the movers came to pick up the contents of our home they realized that they brought the wrong truck and had to reschedule to the next day. My husband and I both had to take 1/2 day off of work to accommodate them hence losing personal time at work. We were provided a quote of less than $1,000. Which was paid. This amount was supposed to cover the entire move. We received a call saying that we would need an additional $400 upon delivery as there were more items than originally anticipated. We agreed to pay the additional amount. On November 9th our contents were delivered to our new home but before they would unload the truck I was told that we now owed an additional $1,000 CASH along with the $400. I told the gentlemen that I did not have $1000 cash nor would I just hand that over to them with out a bill explaining why. I refused to pay and told them to return the items to storage and I would get a lawyer. After a private call between the driver and his boss I was told it was ok they weren't going to charge me the extra $1000 - which was very odd. They unpacked our items and almost every piece of furniture was damaged. Garment boxes were smashed flat with all hanging clothes in the bottom of the boxes. A brand new refrigerator was dented in two places; a glass blow jar/art was broken; several serving plates; candle holders etc were broken; a hole the size of a golf ball was punctured through the china cabinet wall; a huge scratch across the desk; the bbq grill will not close completely now and cannot be used; Several expensive wooden pieces of furniture have damaged corners; a lamp was broken. the wicker on a new patio chair was unraveled. There are more and I have pictures for all that I have mentioned. It's understandable that a few glass items may break during a move but the damages done to our personal items are unacceptable.
