Highly recommend iRun for any of your running needs! They are well stocked with all the gear you could possibly need from shoes, clothes, running fuel, and sunglasses/socks. I was in need of gels the week before the half marathon and the owner was super knowledgeable and friendly. I was able to pick up a variety of different gels to try and a water bottle. iRun Running &walking Speciality Store - Shoe Stores Near Me - Miami, Florida

I passed by this place driving one day. I couldn't stop that day but I went back that weekend. I parked on the side of the building and walked about 2mins to get inside. I was greeted inside and asked was I looking for anything in particular. I said yes running shoes for my daughter and I. I explained when my daughter runs her knees and back hurt. He took a look at the current running shoes when had on. Had us do several test and run on the treadmill. After the evaluation he suggested I get the Hoka and she gets the Saucony. My daughter loved her shoes! Her back and knees wasn't hurting any more when we run. I loved the Hoka in the store but when I ran outside it was too heavy after 2miles. Because of it feeling to heavy I decided to use it for station exercises non cardio related. I do still buy both brands for us. Every one to two years. The shoes I brought are expensive. It was $150.00 for each pair. I'm not sure of the other prices for all shoes there. That was the ones I got. If you're looking for expert shoe advice this is the place to go. read more

I've been wanting to move my body more, and running seemed like a good way to start. After one run, I quickly realized that I am now too old to run in just any ol' pair of sneaks. So I came to iRun thanks to word of mouth & Yelp. Hector was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. After checking my jogging gait in a couple of pairs of sneakers, I left with a pair I was happy with. Good running shoes ain't cheap but you get $10 your new sneaker purchase when you check in on Yelp, which is a nice bonus. read more

They're very unwilling to help with you finding the right shoe. I purchased a pair of running shoes and was unhappy with them after 5 minutes of running in them. I went back to return them and they have a 5 DAY RETURN POLICY. I tried to return them 6 days after purchase and they turned me away immediately so now I am stuck with a brand new pair of shoes i can't use. read more

I visited iRun because I needed new running shoes urgently. A trustworthy friend suggested this place and therefore I visited it. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the owner and felt welcomed. I knew exactly which shoes I needed so my selection process was set. He explained the size on these shoes run smaller than usual, and brought a bigger size for me to try. Even with that, the shoe felt a little smaller. He then proceeded to explain how to make a better decision on size based on the purpose of the shoe. Clearly, he loves what he does and brings the knowledge to it. So far I'm loving my new shoes. I will be back to buy another pair. read more

Thoroughly impressed with the staff at iRun for their insight. Based off visual inspection of my feet, no more than 5 minutes passed by and I was handed the perfect pair of shoes for my specific feet. It was also well within my budget (on sale). Older gentleman provided advice on fitness socks that matched my feet almost perfectly (they lowballed the thickness, but thinner material is better than thicker!) Some details to note going in: I had a good idea of what design I wanted, and was open to other designs. I've competitively run for 4 years and know when Im being cheated. That being said, the staff was honest, helpful, and insightful! read more

Wow! Such amazing service and the same price as the huge department stores. Hector, the owner, truly cares that you get the best shoe for your feet and your running gate. He has you run the length of the shop and examines your gate to then suggest the best shoe for the support you need. He even helps determine the best size. All this great service comes at no extra price. IRun has everything you need for running and even for swimming too. Why would you ever go anywhere else?! read more

I read the reviews for the store and decided to take the ride down from Aventura. It was definitely worth the trip. Previously, I had gone to Dick's Sporting Goods, right down the street from me. I had to return the running shoes I bought there. Just not right, even though the salesman did his best to help me. So off I went down to Irun. I'm so happy that I did! I got my first pair of Saucony shoes and they are MORE than perfect! Great staff there and they certainly take their time with you asking you questions, putting you on the treadmill and watching your gait and watching your steps on the floor. This is definitely my new go to store for my needs. My friend and I will definitely be going back. Thank you guys! read more

iRun Running &walking Speciality Store - Great running shoes!! - Shoe Stores Near Me - Miami, Florida

I'm so glad this store has withstood for several years and keeps being busy. The owner organizes local run clubs and participates in running races so equipping people for running is their passion. I purchased several running shows from them already. They help to test for stride to pick the most suitable shoes. I ended up returning the most recently purchases ACIcS cause they didn't feel right and was assisted with the return and finding the replacement perfect pair. There was a balance left from original purchase, so I was offered to buy socks which are tailored for left and right foot and are gender specific. I was skeptical about those, but boy, do they make a difference! Anyone who is new to running and anyone running marathons from many years should come here to restock on the latest running gear! read more

Not going to lie here. I bought my shoes late March and spent well over $100. When I looked online the same day for the shoes I found them for half the price! I almost went back to return the shoes but then I remembered how amazing the staff treated me at iRun. The salesman took his time bringing me dozens of shoes, watching me run, and asking me how each shoe felt. He wasn't pushy, judgmental, nor fake. When I found the right shoe, he even encouraged me to join their weekly run clubs! I also remembered that shoe outlets (I.E Asics, Adidas, Mizunos, etc.) usually carry a lower quality version of the same item in some retailers. In fact, any outlet store does this (including 6pm). By purchasing through this mom and pop shop I knew I was getting the real thing. Please remember this when making your purchase! Here's the truth. Can you find a better price online? Yes. Can you find a better value? I don't think so. I left this place feeling like I made the right shoe choice. As Yelpers, it is our obligation to support these small local businesses that provide great service! I slacked during the month of April, but today I finally wore these shoes. With my previous shoes i was running a 10 minute mile. Today I just freaking did TWO 8 minute miles back to back, and changed nothing but my shoes! I know this is laughable for you runners out there, but for me and my small little legs this is a feat! I also do not have pain that I was previously having. so grateful for the recommendation. read more

iRun Running &walking Speciality Store - Amazing quality and so comfy! - Shoe Stores Near Me - Miami, Florida

I am sooooo pleased with my experience today. I am not a runner but many of my friends are and they swear by this store. I just wanted some quality shoes that feel stable and comfortable with cushioned heel since I'm heavy on my heel when I walk. The man who assisted me listened to what I wanted my shoes for and gave me a few options. I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me. Some shoes were more comfortable and some "cuter" but I have enough of the "cute" shoes and that's why I came to this store today, to get good shoes for my balance and stability first, looks second. But I still think my final choice is cute :) I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and am a very happy new loyal customer! read more

This store should be renamed to "i limp" or "iDon'tcare" or "iJustwantyourmoney" My girlfriend and I visited the store and were sold a pair of shoes that were inappropriate for my girlfriends narrow feet. The salesperson was made aware of the issue and sold her a pair of highly rated shoes but they were not made for her foot and never should have been recommended. Obviously he had little care for the customer and/or little knowledge of the product. I returned to the store to exchange hers and get a pair for myself since they are more appropriate for my feet figuring it would be an easy swap as it would be at most reputable stores. I returned after the 7 day period, which is ridiculously short, and were flatly denied a return by the owner, with no apology for their mistake and the salesman slinking into the back room, although they were barely worn and without consideration that I was planning to make a purchase. There was zero compassion, zero compromise and no thought of the future sales and/ bad publicity through this and other reviews as well as word of mouth. Although business owners can get away with this due to the sheer volume of sales it's a terrible way to do business. Obviously the almighty dollar controls his perception of proper accommodation and good business practice. There are tons of reputable, caring and competent stores who sell the same product...use them instead. read more

Such a great experience today buying replacement running shoes. Hector was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions about the shin splint I have currently. He showed me how I'd let my shoes wear down past their lifespan. I thought I also needed to replace my arch support insoles, but he said mine were still good. I have to acknowledge a business that could have easily taken my money even if I didn't need to replace the arch supports. You have a new customer for life! Support local...you won't be disappointed with iRun. read more

Great customer service and great selection! I came here to pick up my packet for the Key Biscayne half marathon and decided to see if they had the "upgrade" to my current running shoes in stock. This search had been fruitless at many other stores in the area, but iRun had them! The manager said that they do NOT carry minimalist shoes, which helps them to keep a wider inventory of "standard" shoes - this is a bonus for people like me who are not interested in vibrams or the "barefoot" movement! The owner / manager is incredibly passionate about what he does! Be prepared for a barrage of friendliness! read more

The shoes that i got here made me feel like im running on clouds. The moment i slip them on, i was scared because it was so comfortable that it felt like my feet was not wearing anything but fluffy clouds. So here is my story: I needed shoes to run and do insanity with and i suffer from weak ankles that turn in or out when im jumping around and my knee and back always goes out. I thought i needed stability shoes and found irun. The gentleman checked out my running on a treadmill and took everything i told him in consideration and said i do not need too much support like i think or i will be uncomfortable. He had me try on a couple of shoes with wide platforms to keep my feet stable and when we found one which was a bit tight, he whipped out another pair and it was like my feet was in heaven. I run and do insanity with it and my feet feels like its jumping on air. They make sure to help you as long as you tell them everything from medical physical conditions and past experiences. Very pricey but worth it. =) read more

I met the owner of the store at one of those many running clubs here in Miami and also found there store online while I was looking for some new running shoes. If you live in the area, you may notice a group of runners stretching out in front of the store occasionally. That's because iRun puts on weekly group runs. It's a good opportunity to connect with other local runners of all levels. What's more, you'll be able to try new techniques and set some goals if you end up coming on a regular basis. The staff is super friendly and encouraging. You can find anything you need here for running. You'll find running apparel, energy bars & gels for those long runs, and of course running shoes. They'll look at your stride and talk to you about the type of running you do and they'll help you select the best shoes that are designed for you. It sounds pretty technical, I know; but their customer service is top notch and not intimidating in the least. Go there, or at least to their website and sign up for their email notifications and come run with them and see what they're all about for yourself. read more

NPS = 10! What a fantastic group of people! And talk about loving what you do, these folks are living the dream! This store is more than just a footwear/apparel store. It's a movement and a community. I joined the iRun folks for their Workout Mondays where they alternate different workouts each week. I quickly discovered how truly out of shape I was when people were zipping past me just a mile or two down. No worries though, the positive vibes from the people that run during workout Mondays fuels you to keep going. The store itself offers EVERYTHING you need for running (even motivation). There's even a treadmill where I'm sure you can run to see how much you pronate and get the adequate shoe. I now know where I will be buying my running gear. And I also now know who I will be training with on Mondays. Holler at me if you come out too! read more

Customer service is like no other, thank you Hector for helping solve my issues. I drive over an hour to shop exclusively at iRun

I bought a pair of walking shoes and was told I could exchange them in seven days, guaranteed, for whatever reason. (I was helped by Manny, a lovely guy. ) There was a manufacturer's flaw in the tongue that became painfully apparent only during a long walk. I returned to the store and exchanged the shoes for an identical pair. That pair was painful as well, this time caused by a seam that hit my foot in just the wrong place. Again I returned to the store, hoping to find either a half size larger which might fit differently or another brand built in a different way. Hector, the owner, refused me saying that I was only allowed one exchange or refund. When I asked why exchanging a flawed shoe would count against me he said that it didn't matter and one exchange was store policy. I have been a business owner myself and would never have treated a customer in that way. read more
