This was a non-issue until my husband (who is a first responder) got ordered into work on Monday with 48 hours notice due to low manpower. For anyone who knows anything about police-work, knows that order-ins are non-negotiable. Since my husband got notified of his order-in after Taylor Rental had closed for the weekend, I wasn't able to call them until first thing Monday morning to explain the situation that we were in. I was home alone with a 1-year-old that day, with no truck or trailer to get the tables and chairs back by myself. I explained this to the management and said that my husband could bring them back first thing Tuesday morning. Instead of being understanding, they chose to charge us $54 (half of the total rental price) for bringing the items back just 12 hours late, due to circumstances completely out of our control. If it had been a weekend day, I'd be more understating as a customer, but it was a Tuesday. They did not need those items. This was just a quick & easy way for them to make $50. They said this is "policy". I work in government contracting, and there is always an exception to any policy- It's called humanity and Taylor Rental does not have any. As a loyal customer for 2 years, I won't be going back. There are so many rental options out there nowadays- Save your money and go somewhere with better and nicer management.

It sounded like I had snow tires on, which I don't. Besides that, I'd been hearing a nagging mystery noise that intermittently seemed to be coming from the back at highway speed. I wanted to get it checked before driving back to NYC. I have family in Wells who recommended Pine State as they have good reputation with the locals. Brought it in and Mike checked the front end and found that there was nothing amiss there but the left rear wheel bearing needed to be replaced. That was the intermittent mystery noise I'd been hearing for for a while. I drove the car back to New York the next day with no sign of the that noise. Friendly, trustworthy, and a fair price (a bargain compared to a dealership). Highly recommended!

I left the car with them to look at since we were camping across the road. Within a couple hours they called me and said it needed a wheel bearing / hub assembly. I asked them to take care of it. They said they'd have it done by the end of the next day. Surprisingly, I received a call from them in the morning saying it was done. It turns out that even though the part wasn't coming in until the next day, they stayed late and prep'd the car for a morning replacement. It was great that they were able to take care of this so quickly and we were car-less for only one night. Price was reasonable, great service.
