It sounded like I had snow tires on, which I don't. Besides that, I'd been hearing a nagging mystery noise that intermittently seemed to be coming from the back at highway speed. I wanted to get it checked before driving back to NYC. I have family in Wells who recommended Pine State as they have good reputation with the locals. Brought it in and Mike checked the front end and found that there was nothing amiss there but the left rear wheel bearing needed to be replaced. That was the intermittent mystery noise I'd been hearing for for a while. I drove the car back to New York the next day with no sign of the that noise. It turns out that even though the part wasn't coming in until the next day, they stayed late and prep'd the car for a morning replacement.
