They have a lot to choose from, and the prices weren't bad. Exeter was willing to change our order when we needed to, and we got some discounts. They were amazing at setting up and breaking down what we needed, and our ceremony and reception venues looked great! The Exeter showroom is also nice. There was some staff turnover during our planning process, and it seemed that unfortunately some paperwork and details did slip through the cracks in the transition. The first person we worked with was fantastic, knowledgeable and very responsive. The second person was less so. We made a CAD layout of what the venue/tent should look like, but then our rep sent the incorrect layout to the delivery crew. Luckily, the guys intuitively knew it wasn't right and didn't start setup until they had procured the correct one from us. We appreciated their experience working events at the SSC, and we still ended up getting what we needed and had a wonderful wedding day, which was great.

We rented pretty much all of our items from them- the tent, tables, chairs, linens, plating, bar ware, grills, griddle, serve ware-- everything arrived clean and undamaged. When nicely calling after the event to confirm when they were taking the tent down, we were returned with "we'll get to it when we get to it today" and immediately hung up. Their team came the day of the wedding and set up the tent very quickly - like, under two hours for a 40x80 tent. It was impressive. Most other tent vendors we spoke with estimated set-up times two or three times longer than that. The tent itself looked amazing, especially when it was lit up at night (they supplied the lights). Seacoast also supplied our chairs and heaters, which was a huge plus. In the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, they were responsive and very flexible, which made it much less stressful to plan. We mostly worked with Whitney throughout the planning process and she was fantastic. Prices were also very reasonable. We loved working with Seacoast and would highly recommend!

The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is because the wedding planner realized, at the last minute, that the draping near the door wouldn't work as it was set. I was surprised that Robin didn't realize this before she left. The bride and the wedding planner moved some things around and it worked perfectly. We were very impressed with the work that Maine Event did under very weird circumstances in a very weird space. I would highly recommend them.
