Dr. L and all her staff have taken amazing care of my babies, and of me during our rough spots. They're honest and genuinely care about their patients. Dr. L's interpersonal communication can sometimes be a little brisk, but it's because she truly wants the best for the animals in her care and honestly, I think she likes cats more than people. I just received a response today from a review I wrote a year ago that to me shows how much this Clinic does not care about people in their animals. Upon review of this response it sounds like you're the common denominator if you have so many people canceling appointments and also legally if you require a deposit you do not need a driver's license or social security number you have the money and without actually being able to talk to somebody how are we supposed to trust and I would like to know how many of your staff would willingly give up driver's license and Social Security numbers to strangers ? read more

If I could leave a negative star for this vets office I would. The service is less than impressive for how expensive it is. When I visited the office to get a quote for the spay/ declawing I was quoted one price and when I came back for the actual surgery the price went up and the price quote sheet was listed different then the paperwork that I had to sign but the office did not honor the lower price. If you have price discrepancies isn't it that the lower price is given? The staff are completely incompetent, I had called to see how my cat was doing given the surgery and I was given the go ahead to come and pick him up but when I reached the office he was to stay another night. I guess we should have left well enough alone and not called but we have a cat that is incontinent and reaching end of life ,skin and bones rapidly losing weight, and the receptionist states that we have to see the cat and vaccinate it and the doctor will assess whether she thinks that the cat should be euthanized or not. Isn't this the owner of the cat's decision? Absolutely outrageous. With COVID it is harder to become a patient of vets unless there is a pre existing patient. Never go here! read more

When our cocker was diagnosed with cancer we talked to Dr. Lindstrand about possible hospice services and also acupuncture. We did the acupuncture for about 9 months and it made a world of difference on his quality of life. The Dr would often sit with him, and maybe sneak him a "few" treats, for the entire time. Her compassion and love for our family member was unmatched by any vet I have ever been to. When it came time to make the decision on Sammy's quality of life, Dr Lindstrand gave us our options and her thoughts. She made one of the most difficult decisions of our life as bearable as it could be. Gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye and then she talked us through the process and gave us all the time we needed after the procedure. It was the best possible experience we could have had for the very difficult time. I am giving 5 stars because that is the most they will let me do. read more

I just returned home after leaving work, getting my cats from home, and told they would not treat them after an hour in their carriers. Their staff took me into a room, and while I was on the phone with another veterinarian trying to get the rest of their records, I had to ask her to be quiet because I didn't want the woman on the other end knowing I was there. She walked out and complained about me where I could hear, stating "I just got shushed." I saw her go by, so I stepped out the door telling her why I did it. Instead of an apology for talking about me in the lobby, she told me off saying "that's not going to fly here." I felt like bolting after that, but my cats were there for an emergency visit. Then the veterinarian came in and said they would not work with me. I thought it was about the cats, but they apparently didn't care enough what was going on with them to even ask. So...rude, unprofessional staff, who talks negatively about new clients, who get "kicked out" when they don't take their unprofessional behavior. Veterinarian might be good, but she was too busy defending her unprofessional staff. Instead of listening to a potential new client about what happened, offering me an apology, and treating my cats, I was being told to leave as soon as she walked in. I looked at her and said: "Wow." I am aghast I was treated this way. I now see other reviews with complaints about the staff, not surprised at all. I've never been treated this way anywhere. Wouldn't recommend this clinic to anyone. read more

the techs and receptionist have been very helpful during the few month i've been trying to help and heal my diabetic cat. he's been insulin resistant and i had to switch insulins for him and he's a few other issues that they were trying to help. dr. lindstrand on the other hand was absolutely awful during this process. i went in to get advice on how i should handle this (whether i should give him up to someone who can take better care of him because i am a full time college student and have a job, or if he's in pain, if it would be better to euthanize him). the tech had a nice conversation with us about how he isn't in pain and everything and asked if i would still like to talk to the doctor. of course i wanted to talk to her because i wanted to make sure. dr. lindstrand came in with (what felt like) the sole purpose of making me feel awful about even thinking about letting him go. she told me verbatim "i don't care about the human, i care about the cat and i'm here to speak on their behalf". she made the decision that she was going to take him and take care of him and that i "can never bring another cat to this vet again". all i wanted was counseling on the situation and her PROFESSIONAL opinion which is not what i received. i would understand (partially) if it was my first time there and i just wanted to dump him but i've been calling and talking to them for months trying to figure out how to give him the best life. i wish i could recommend this vet because of the other people at the facility but i will not be returning due to the unprofessional attitude given to me by the doctor. read more

I have been taking my cats to the Isabella Cat Clinic since 2002. It is clear when you are there that Dr. Lindstrand cares deeply for all the cats in her care. The vet techs in the office have always treated my cats and me very well. As cats age they usually need additional care and Dr. Lindstrand has always laid out all the options before me so that I can make a decision based on my level of financial comfort. She has been a great comfort to my family when we've had to euthanize our cats. In that moment in particular you can see how much she cares for felines. You won't go wrong entrusting the welfare of your kitty to the Isabella Cat Clinic. read more

I took my cat there for an assumed bladder infection. After a week on antibiotics we discovered the issue was improving however not resolved completely. We need a special diet for the cat to remain healthy. I am not sure I can fit that kind of cost in my budget at this time. So the vet herself told me that because I can't afford a $60 a month special diet for my cat that I should not rush out and adopt another cat until my finances improve. I wasn't aware that we would be incurring hundreds of dollars for a diagnosis then top it off with this monthly food cost quadrupling what we have been spending. And I have owned several cats without ever having such an issue. Completely unprofessional and at first I was so impressed with this office. read more

Swindlers. They will lie about available vaccines and will do anything in their power to give you the shortest vaccine (1 year compared to 3 year rabies vaccine for example) to get you in their sooner to spend more money. I love the Cat Clinic! Everyone was so very kind to our cat, Henry. We had no idea about his health history as someone had dropped him off at our house. Dr. Lindstrand and her staff suggested the most needed tests and vaccines to get Henry on the road to good health. She discovered that Henry is diabetic and he is now receiving insulin 2 times a day. We so appreciated Dr. Linstrand for educating us on Henry's health issues and her staff is so willing to listen and makes suggestions. Best place to take your furbaby! read more
