Home Cooking Meals twice a week. Menu changes weekly. No pick up before 5pm. All Meals are individually prepackaged because of the Covid 19 pandemic. Because of the pandemic Isabella's decided to offer precooked meals for pick up twice a week. Tuesday and Friday's. Menu changes for each day. After watching videos of the Menu's being offered, I decided to give Isabella's a try. Food pickup is at their office which is located in a strip mall (in the corner) in West Jordan which is close to the West Joran InstaCare right on 90th South. When I first entered, I didn't see that this is an actual kitchen, but a place where the food is assembled, and then picked up. I noticed that they have upright fridges, with the food that was ordered for that day, all ready packaged and ready to go. You just give them your name, and they help you out with it. You will want to take advantage of this service as the portions are large. I ordered the /2 size vs. the full size which is enough to feed 4 adults. The quantity was impressive, but the taste was meh. You could tell the corn came out of can, and the salad tasted like the salad that you get in plastic bags at the store. You know the kind that has a chemical smell to it. The rolls were not homemade. The mashed potatoes were good, but I didn't care of the meatloaf it had a chewy, not quite done texture ,and the gravy tasted like it was the instant package kind. Needless to say I was really let down, and I was looking forward to enjoying a really good "home cooked meal" This wasn't it. Isabella's would be a good grab and go, if you were in a hurry, and just want something other than greasy fast food restaurants, but didn't impress me enough to continue ordering weekly. What a fantastic catering service. We did a 20 person sandwich setup for a post funeral. I'm sad I didn't get any pictures. Pictures weren't a priority post funeral. The layout of everything was beautiful and everyone commented on how good everything was. Several asked who it was from so they can take note for future get togethers. I had the time set for 1:30 with a note saying we were coming from a funeral. They did show up early(12:45) so the person did have to wait but it wasn't too long. My daughter was able to arrive by 1ish. We ended up with 18 people show up and we still have lots of leftovers. Which post funeral, I'm actually grateful for. read more

I just used Isabella's for a family reunion at This is the Place Heritage park. They came on time, presentation was great and the the food delicious. They packed up all the leftovers and left the kitchen clean. I had 2 people that needed gluten, egg and dairy free meals. They packaged them up separately, so impressed! They double booked our reservation dates with them, which we made months in advance, but they never notified us of the problem. Once they finally responded to our emails where we were finalizing the menu, there was no explanation as to why they wouldn't be able to cater for us. One sentence "We can't help you out!" We are reasonable people and would have understood if the problem had been communicated to us up front, but it never was. It wasn't until I called to figure out what happened that I got any sort of answers. When I spoke with Jimmy, he was extremely rude, condescending, made no apologies, and then said outright that our business was not important to him because we only use him for one week per year, so he chose to do larger parties. Again, even if that was the reason, with some communication and acknowledgment when that decision was made, we would have been willing to work with Isabella's again. But no such communication, acknowledgement or apology happened, even though he said the other reservations were made more than a month ago. I have never had a business professional behave the way Jimmy did. Beware doing business with him. read more

Very strictly low-end catering. the food was of varying degrees of doneness, underseasoned, and just evidenced poor technique. The turkey was floating in tepid water with dried cranberries bobbing around. Mashed potatoes were translucent and bland, clearly instant, and much of the food was dried out or inadequately taken care of. Essentially, the cost-cutting measures were too obviously transparent and slapdashly thrown together. The few items that were well-presented or well made didn't do much to revive the opinions of most of the employees. Pot Luck would have been a better option. read more

Wow! They exceeded my expectations with their service, presentation and food. They were super easy to work with. I ordered stuffed mushrooms, roasted veggies, meatballs, cheese board, Greek chicken with rice and vegetables, lemon chicken fettuccine, lasagna, salad, desserts, iced tea and lemonade. They brought everything we needed for 35 people. My favorites were the stuffed mushrooms, Greek chicken and roasted veggies. My friends loved the lemon chicken fettuccine. I've used them for just hors d'ouevres events, full blown dinners, breakfast, you name it. It's always great! Isabella's Catering was fantastic! Our company supplies food for our employees during our busy season. Not only were they able to provide us meals for 17 days for both lunch and dinner (34 meals total), they were also able to do it at 2 different locations every day with our ever-changing employee count. They also provided gluten free and vegetarian options for every meal. They were always on time and provided both the set-up and clean-up. Isabella's did an amazing job with my wedding reception 5 years ago. I can't attest to their current service, but they were extremely helpful and friendly when I worked with them. Everyone raved about the food afterwards. We had california rolls, cream cheese wantons, chicken skewers with different dips, and all sorts of interesting and unique items. They decorated the table settings in a way that totally matched our wedding colors and theme, and even incorporated our ideas for a drink station. I recommend Isabella's whenever I can. read more

Everything was freshly prepared, with no packaged ingredients, even the mashed potatoes and gravy! The caterers arrived on time and had everything set up quickly. Our guests complimented us on the dinner. Though we had an accurate headcount, the portions were generous and we ended up with leftovers. Our company has used Isabellas for well over 10-years. There food is always delicious and beautifully presented. However, their service has went down hill. They have been showing up consistently late whenever we've ordered from them over the last two years and have even forgot about orders that were called in advance. It is unfortunate that we have used them for so long and no longer feel like a valued customer. I would recommend their food; but service is poor. read more

To say I was disappointed by Isabella's Catering would be an understatement. I was impressed by Isabella's when I first met with them, but they were terrible on the day of the wedding dinner. They said they would arrive at the venue an hour before the event, but they arrived literally 5 minutes before just as my guest were arriving. When we called 35 minutes prior to the event to see where they were, they were unable to locate the driver. They also didn't seem very helpful in trying to help us figure out what we were going to do if the driver never showed up. It arrived just in the nick of time, but caused lots of stress. We asked for them to pick up the food at 8:00, and they didn't show up until 9:00. This prompted an 8:45 wal mart run to buy food storage containers, so we could transport the food home without it spilling in the car. Again they arrived, but just an hour late. They never offered an explanation or an apology. All in all, the food was good, but the customer service was awful. I would NOT recommend this caterer to any stressed out bride. read more
