Huckleberry Pork Tenderloin Combo with sweet potato mash and Mac and cheese!
    Daisy R.

Fun takeout lunch today for me and my husband. We were shopping in the neighborhood and wanted to try something new! I got the Pork Tenderloin with huckleberry sauce and for my sides I got mac and cheese and sweet potato mash. I wasn't crazy about the huckleberry sauce but everything else was delicious! My husband got the Veggie meatballs and brussel sprouts (no bacon) and mashed potatoes (no gravy) for his vegetarian meal. They were very nice and accommodating! The restaurant has a really fun vibe and the staff was really friendly and helpful, especially since this was our first time. Definitely want to come back and maybe dine in, although our food was so well packaged it didn't look like takeout.

Huckleberry Pork Tenderloin Combo Smoked Tri Tip Combo Fig & Goat Cheese Salad Huckleberry Supreme Pie

Had high hopes but were really disappointed with this place. We shared a fig and goat cheese salad that was good but plain, nothing at all special about it. Husband got the tri-tip with funeral potatoes and green beans. The plate genuinely looked like cafeteria food. The green beans were definitely canned, the tri tip was decent but needed more seasoning, and the potatoes literally had no flavor. None. I got the huckleberry glazed pork with mashed sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts were absolutely delicious! The pork was good but an under-seasoned again, and the potatoes were meh. We shared the huckleberry cream pie for dessert. The sauce was good but the rest of the pie was flavorless. You know when you eat peanut butter with a celery stick, and it's basically just a bland vessel that gives you the excuse to eat PB? That was this pie. A way to eat huckleberry sauce. We also tasted the huckleberry lemonade, we were so excited when we saw it, but it was so bland we picked diet soda instead. Wish I could give this a better review, but it was a disappointing $65 dinner overall.

    Tri tip. Very good!

Just landed in SLC and my buddy had to gas up his car at the Costco. We saw a couple of restaurants in a little shopping center across the street, so it was either Huckleberry Grill or the Hawaiian place. I'm glad we went to this place. I got the tri tip and it was delicious. Perfectly smoked and went great with the sauce and the sides. For the sides, I got Mac and cheese and funeral potatoes, and they were also both really good. My buddy got the huckleberry pork loin and he also said it was really good. The portion sizes were excellent and we both left stuffed and satisfied. It wasn't too expensive either, around $45 for two people. Service was also excellent as the worker was very friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. If I'm ever back in Utah for some reason, I would definitely come back here. Place is very clean and looks very unassuming, but it is high quality food.

Solid 4 stars plus. This is a great BBQ dinner for a very reasonable price. Service is great, the restaurant is comfortable with flexible seating for groups if need be. My wife had the grilled chicken and I had the tri-tip. Both were very tasty. I really like his huckleberry sauce. We had sides of Utah funeral potatoes (LOL), mac n cheese, crispy brussels sprouts, and side Caesar salad. The salad was huge. The brussels sprouts were delicious. We enjoyed the potatoes and the mac. For those mac n cheese connoisseurs, it is a thick and creamy type. The tri-tip was a bit underdone for wellness for me which made it a bit chewy. That's the way tri-tip goes. Next time, I will ask for it to be a bit more well done. Otherwise very tasty. The chicken was excellent. The owner/chef was going to run a Valentine special. I got talking to him and he said that he wasn't going to make any money off of it, but just wanted a creative outlet to see and show what he could do. His aspirations are to open up a fine dining restaurant after he opens 10 (!) of these restaurants. Power to him, that's ambitious. I say why wait for 10 restaurants? That's a lot of work and stress. I believe he started out as a food truck. This is really a nice step up from that, a very pleasant experience. I wish him all the best. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Found this place while browsing the Yelp app and I was intrigued! The food was delicious and the portions were perfect! I love when I can get two meals out of an order of food. Staff were helpful and the food came out hot and quick! Want to go back and try the desserts next time since we were in more of a rush.

Good comfort food and great service! Order at the counter for takeout or dine in, we dined in for our first visit. Food came out really fast and portions are generous- ended up boxing half of my sides to go. Plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options! We tried two entrees- each come with two sides. Dwaine's Grilled Chicken & Porcini Cream Chicken were both excellent! Perfectly cooked & flavorful. A side of Crispy Brussels Sprouts was the clear winner- so crispy & delicious. The Sweet Potato Mash was very good, but very sweet - basically a dessert. The Parmesan Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Funeral Potatoes were just OK, as was the huckleberry lemonade. We also tried the Huckleberry Chocolate Mousse which was delicious! Look for hidden Sasquatch figures around the restaurant. Plenty of seating. And really good prices! I will be back!

Amazing food, and GF! Wandered in after a quick search of GF options and found a real gem. I got the pork tenderloin with huckleberry sauce. The sides almost stole the show, they were that good too. I'll definitely be back.

All their food were good, all meats tasted delicious, Russell sprouts was over cooked, good funeral potatoes, Mac and cheese.and mashed potatoes.

Good food, friendly service. Fun menu and place to eat. Comfortable atmosphere and the associate helping me said, "I hope you have a really great evening." That was very nice to hear. The food was good, although the macaroni and cheese was a little mushy. If the noodles were a little more firm, that would be good. Just a little plain tasting.... The brussels sprouts were OK, not too crispy or amazing.... The huckleberry chocolate mousse was really good. Nice place to grab a meal with friends or coworkers. I like the unique options, revolving around huckleberries....

The homemade longganisa (Philippine breakfast sausage) itself is incredible with the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and perfect garlicky-ness. If they ever consider selling their longganisa in local Asian stores I will absolutely be first in line. And then they built everything around the longganisa, forming the most beautiful longsilog (longanisa breakfast) sandwich ever imagined with the soft brioche, atchara (pickled papaya), runny egg, cucumber, cheddar cheese with that really mild bite, and spicy mayo (which is very mild, I don't do spicy and it was great). I'm drooling just typing this out. If I lived closer I would be here weekly. It's worth the price (it's also huge/filling, on top of insanely delicious). It's worth the line. Yes, the line can be kind of long so either come early or just make sure you have the time available to you. It will be worth the wait. You can take the buzzer with you into Roots coffee and grab a drink, or pop next door into Ruby Snaps and try some cookies while you wait. The owners/family/employees are all very friendly and helpful with any questions. If I have more opportunities I'll eventually try every sandwich. My friend tried the Bulgogi and loved it. The bite I had was great; the Bulgogi was seasoned really well and it also went fantastic with the brioche. The ribeye meat was really tender. I'd asked for a side of extra atchara with my sandwich not realizing how much was already on it. I suggested to my friend to add it to her Bulgogi because the sweet tanginess from the rice vinegar would complement it well, and she loved the combination -- that is also my suggestion to all of you.

I had the Manila and LOVED the pickled papaya & cucumber paired with the Filipino longganisa, and let's not forget about the fluffy, buttery brioche bun! I just can't get enough! Being a food truck they have a cool set up, a couple seats outdoors and a sweet partnership with the coffee shop next door who offers their patrons a place to sit and eat inside. Can't wait to visit again!
