We waited ten minutes in line to order, but that wasn't enough to warn us and it really didn't seem so bad. No warnings from employees were given to us about how long this would take. As we left the register towards the seating area, I counted 7 unbussed tables- we were forced to sit at the only table without either ample trash or people. I only saw two employees, neither of whom moved with any urgency- more of a lazy afternoon pace. The table of teenagers next to us exclaimed to one of them, "What is going on in the kitchen back there?!" Don't get me wrong, everyone was kind, just...not at all service-oriented towards a very hungry crowd. I did finally see some tables "bussed," but they were not wiped down or disinfected in any way. Which doesn't give me hope for the cleanliness of the rest of the place. At minute 45 of waiting, my husband went to ask what is going on, but had to wait in a line to do so. At one hour, we finally got to the register and said, "If you haven't even started our food yet, we'd love a refund." We got a refund. Hallelujah. They were kind about that But that also means we had waited for our food for an entire hour and they still hadn't even started it or come out to explain- nothing. Not even an apology. What we did get was a quiet resignation. We felt really bad for the girl working the register. I rated the food 3 stars bc I know it's good in Ohio, but we didn't actually ever get any served to us. But the worst part is knowing a place I love from Ohio is failing me. An hour and a half (30 min round trip and an hour of waiting) of my life I'll never get back.

They were not very busy but in fact very slow. We were in line for at least 8 minutes before starting our order. I asked the guy about the 8min guarantee and he genuinely had NEVER heard of it. I pointed to the sign..... he said he had never noticed it. I wanted to know if the time started once we order or once we walked up. Couldn't answer. So we moved to the cashier to ask. Same result. No clue.... Hadn't heard of it.... Hadn't ever noticed the sign. A little disappointing. Will we still go? Absolutely. We won't ask the hard questions next time.

I ordered a sandwhich and soup from uber eats. I watched as 3 delivery drivers pull up and leave. So i messaged the 4th and asked her to tell me if there's an issue with the order or something. She tells me the manager told her, "the order was stolen and we will NOT remake it." Mind you this is 4th delivery driver and it's been over a hour as this point. Instead of contacting uber on their end...They chose to waste 4 driver's time and my time. I call the store and the manager laughs when i ask her about the situation. She said, "ya haha i told a few of the drivers that." She told me, "uber usually sends us a new ticket eventually." Well it's 7:54 pm at this point, when i call and they close at 8 pm. So i realize at this point that im not getting anything from them. I waited over a hour for the sandwich... i paid for it.... how is it my problem that someone else stole it? It sounds like the store's problem, not mine. Oh but no it turned out it was my problem. Though i was the one that paid for a sandwich i never got..... Truly repulsed by this manager and the way she conducts business. Will never return to any of the potbelly's. Will have a horrible taste in my mouth about this place for the rest of my life and will tell everyone I know what a shit fucking company it is. Never in my life have i seen such shit customer service. It's truly embarrassing that you would hire someone like that to represent your store. God i'd be ashamed to have any connection to this store with the way it's run.
