I was looking to buy a ring I thought I lost and I was so heartbroken. I found one on the…read morewebsite for Blue Marlin along with matching earrings. I was so excited. I have the necklace and wasn't aware of the earrings. And the artist Denny Wong isn't easy to find in a lot of jewelry stores. My friend from Hawaii got me into him and told me he's the Cartier of Hawaii. I'm a big fan of Steven Douglas as well. They both do a fine jewelry with sea life collections as well as other beautiful creations. Anyway I called and spoke to Aimee to be sure they had the ring and earrings. I explained I couldn't find my ring and was interested in replacing it and getting the earrings. She had them to me in 2 days. But I was preparing to get an appraisal done and found my ring. So I called her and checked to see if I could please return just the ring. She was happy I found it and was so great about the return. I told her I collect sea life jewelry - and mainly starfish. My mother had a beautiful starfish necklace she wore and I guess it was lost or stolen I had always planned on inheriting that starfish someday and was so sad when my brother told me it was gone. So I started collecting starfish and a few other sea life fine jewelry. When I told Aimee about this and I was talking about rose gold and how I have a few pieces but I hadn't found a starfish in rose gold yet - she said I have an idea. I'm going to text you a picture of one we have. Maybe we can workout and exchange since I was sending the ring back that morning. The starfish is so beautiful- I got it in just 1 day and it is so much prettier then the picture. I have an Elsa Peretti from Tiffany in yellow gold with diamonds - this rose gold starfish is even prettier and more sparkly. They're both about the same size. I definitely suggest looking at the website or if you live near there or plan on visiting Florida - take a trip over there. Or just call Aimee. It's so great when you can connect with someone who understands what you might really like. She could have just accepted the return But instead she tried and successfully found something I love. It did cost more but it's worth it I know I'll treasure this starfish! Thank you Aimee

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with Blue Marlin Jewelry was extremely…read moredisappointing. I brought my watch in on June 19, 2025 for what should have been a simple clasp repair. I was never given a written estimate before the work was approved. Later I was told the clasp/buckle needed replacement and I verbally approved the work based on the information provided at the time. When I came back to pick up the watch, I immediately noticed that one of the hands had fallen off the watch. This means the watch was damaged somewhere during the service process while it was out through their service chain. That should never happen when a customer leaves a watch with a jewelry store. Because of that damage, the watch had to be sent out again. From the moment I dropped it off to the moment it was finally ready, the process took about eight months. Regardless of where the delay occurred, that is an extremely long time for a customer to wait for a watch repair. What was most surprising was the way the situation was handled afterward. Despite the damage occurring while the watch was in their service process and the extremely long delay, I was still expected to pay the full amount for the buckle replacement. There was no real effort to acknowledge the customer experience or take responsibility for what happened during the process. Unfortunately, that level of professionalism and accountability was not demonstrated here. The response I received from management made it clear that the focus was on explaining their internal process rather than understanding the situation from the customer's perspective. When a business stops caring about how the customer experience feels on the other side, it becomes a serious problem. I remained patient throughout the entire eight-month process and tried to handle the situation respectfully, but the overall experience left me very disappointed. If you are considering doing business here, I strongly recommend that you get everything in writing before leaving your watch or jewelry. Based on my experience, this is not a level of service I would expect from a professional jewelry store.
