I thought it was just ok but I would still recommend folks checking it out once if you're in the area and a fellow book lover. There is mixed used and new books. I don't mind but would prefer for the used books to be it's own selection. There were also book things which was nice to browse but definitely boutique pricing. There was a super friendly dog here when I visit that was the highlight of my visit!

They also carry stunning leather bound books along with drawing supplies for the artists and creatives out there. Wandering through this bookstore felt like stepping into a magical little world that I genuinely did not want to leave. Even though we stopped in close to closing time, the owner never once made us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. She was incredibly welcoming, kind, and happy to have us there. This is exactly the kind of local shop I will happily return to again and again, not just to continue exploring the endless stacks of books, but to support and see the wonderful people who run it as well.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the booksellers are incredibly knowledgeable about their selection. They're always able to offer thoughtful recommendations without making you feel pressured. I especially love the children's section. They carry so many interesting and unusual books that you just don't find in your average bookstore. I also really appreciate how much Pomegranate supports the Wilmington community, including local authors. And I have to mention the owner, Kathleen.
