I'll give it one star for the set-up and frozen drink machine. I noticed the owner, Gabriel defends every bad review with a follow up essay instead of simple accountability but that seems to be expected after our pointless phone call regarding my issues with my order in which he was no help at all. First off, customer service is TERRIBLE. Christine messed up multiple times blaming her CSR Melanie and myself for her own mistakes and errors in my order. I explained multiple times via email exactly what I'd like to rent and Christine blamed me for miscommunication. It was written in black and white so unsure of any miscommunication on my part. After SEVERAL times of repeating myself over our phone call and Christine not comprehending simple instructions and changes to my order she proceeded to yell at me. STELLAR customer service. Gabriel explained Christine was dealing with a very busy day of orders so i guess that gives her the right to raise her voice at me. Over the phone we discussed delivery on Thursday and she sent me an email after our phone call confirming a Friday delivery. No surprise there. I was told it was my doing because I signed and paid the remainder of my contract after buisness hours and after the drivers had left for the day.. also untrue and I have my emials documnted with time stamp but everything felt intentional at this point. This caused me and my husband to each miss a day of work. The drivers were great despite coming 2 hours after our estimated delivery window and although they were personable and helpful with the instructions for the drink machine, they left my back gate open with a bungee cord causing all 3 of my dogs to escape. I think this review goes with out saying that I and my neighbors who reffered this company to me will be taking our buisness elsewhere for our events and parties. I highly recommend Island Breeze Party Rentals. I have been renting from this company for years, mostly due to the kind lady Melanie who helps me every single September to throw my daughter's birthday party. I'm that annoying client who has a thousand questions. Melanie always understands exactly what I need, and makes adjustments to our reservations as needed. She always looks at previous years, to make sure I'm getting the right sizes and lets me know if I've made any mistakes when ordering. Even if the cost of the item she is recommending is less than what I've ordered, she is honest and always recommends the right items. She is straightforward, clear, and efficient with her communication. Always returns missed calls. Frankly, the only reason we go back every year is because I know I can trust this company to handle all our needs and know their workers will show up on time and do the job right. It takes so much stress off of us to know we can simply relax and let them do their thing. The workers who come to set up have always been super helpful, always offering to assist when we ask them to do things any way we would like it. They have never complained or refused to help with whatever we have asked. They make our daughter's birthday a beautiful affair year after year, and we could not be happier customers. read more

Amazing!! Everyone I spoke with, at Island Breeze, from beginning to the end of my rental was exceptionally helpful. Ordered the margarita machine for my husband's birthday party and I could not have been more pleased that I chose the right place. The Lime and Raspberry Mango margaritas were the "bomb" (am I telling my age?). The dominoes themed skirt for the provided cart was perfect for our game night theme (sorry I forgot to take a picture of the machine in it's party attire). But no worries, as I will order from them again! Also, just as they forewarned, the machine does pull a lot of power. It tripped the power once, but after getting things back and running it was fine. Prompt delivery and instruction details. They called before drop off and pick up to let us know when they were about 20 minutes away. We were able to get 2 days out of the machine and most definitely took full advantage of Island Breeze having to pick up the machine on a Monday after having it since Saturday. I was in charge of finding a rental company pretty last minute for my manager and the event we were looking to set up for just so happened to be the Monday after Super Bowl. Needless to say I was having a super hard time finding anyone that would help us out. The second I talked to Melanie at Island Breeze Party Rental, I knew we had found the right place! She was super informative about all of their products and services and was great about recommending what we would and would not need based on the crazy Texas weather. Due to the delivery guy having to run around all over Houston picking up supplies from Super Bowl, he did end up running a little late setting up our event. The next day, I got a call from Island Breeze wanting to rectify the situation. It was amazing that we didn't have to call and complain and that they just offered up correcting it! (not Mount Hope K) The year 2016, Our church Youth Banquet rented the ice cream machine, from Island Breeze, it was easy to go online and make reservation, enter the mix chocolate or vanilla with the number of ice cream cones, the price for each items are listed which made it so easy to stay within the budget. After I received a friendly call from Island Breeze representative which she made our event very smooth by schedule the arrival time on the date of the event and pick up time on the next day. The deliver driver was so helpful showing how to operate and add the mix into the machine once empty . I had the absolute pleasure working with Island Breeze Party Rentals this past weekend for a wedding in Houston. We rented a single-flavor Taylor Margarita Machine. Man! It was an absolute hit. The guests loved the margaritas & it took absolutely no time to freeze to get the party going. Excellent customer service - Melanie took her time to answer all my questions & it made me feel so good about the decision to go with this particular rental company. We rented the margarita machine for a couples shower. This was our first time to rent from them. The machine was delivered that morning and we were told how to put together the ingredients to make a great margarita. The only suggestion I have for the future is to tell the client to start the machine more than 30 minutes before the party begins. I would have liked the margaritas to start out to be very slushy rather than liquidy. To our surprise, we did use both batches for our crowd of 40 people. The margaritas were great and enjoyed by everyone. The next morning I received a text telling me when to expect the pick up. Great service, great margaritas! We will use them again. read more

We ordered rentals from island breeze for a wedding we had this weekend and I would like to give them a great big shout out because it was so easy to rent from them and we needed one last-minute item and they didn't hesitate to get that item for us. And the young men that delivered were absolutely wonderful. And they call themselves the A-Team not only did they put our tents up and set up the tables and chairs just the way we wanted them they were also very funny and made renting from island breeze even better. We rented 10 tables of various shapes and sizes, along with table covers, for a home event. Could not have been happier with the overall experience. Melanie was pleasant when giving me the quote, but Armand, who dropped off and picked up the tables was the rock star of the experience. He was friendly, professional, and kept me updated on arrival time by text - something that is important when you're in the throes of prep mania!. I used Island Breeze for a party I recently threw. Everyone loved the margaritas, and I loved how easy and convenient it was! They set up everything for you, and the machines are super easy to operate. They have great customer service that goes above and beyond just delivering the machines. We had just tripped the breaker right as they showed up for the delivery, and I was panicking a bit. I couldn't figure out which breaker needed to be reset, and the guy from Island Breeze reset the breaker for me, which I greatly appreciated! After my initial order, I had some additions to my order and they made the changes promptly and without any problems. Rented tables, chairs, and table cloths for our wedding for about 70 people. We were able to rent with minimum difficulty at incredibly prices compared to competitors. Melanie was incredibly helpful at ensuring that our quote met expectations and that we were able to schedule a time for delivery easily. Customer service overall was on point! I recently arranged a funeral luncheon and needed table linens at the last minute. The ladies worked with me to locate the tablecloths needed and get them delivered to me on their own time so I would have for the set-up early the next morning. They were fabulous to work with and very accommodating. The tablecloths were all in perfect shape (not always the case with rentals), dry-cleaned and stain & wrinkle-free.
