I was extremely pleased with the overall rental experience. Everything went as described. The equipment showed up about 1.5 hrs before agreed time and the guys offloading even offered to set the tables up. The attendant for the bull was friendly and attentive. At no time did I feel that those riding the bull were in harms way. We had 5 year old to 75 year olds all enjoying the experience. All the guest had something they will remember. I reserved a 24-foot water slide for our Fourth of July party for approximately $1,600. On the morning of the event, around 11:00 AM, I received a voicemail saying the slide had been damaged and they were canceling my reservation. They mentioned they had a replacement available. I returned the call within about 30 minutes, but by then I was told the replacement had already left the warehouse and was no longer available. That left us without a slide on the day of our party, with a house full of kids and guests and virtually no chance of finding another rental on one of the busiest days of the year. I understand accidents happen and equipment can get damaged. My disappointment is that there didn't seem to be a backup plan to make things right for a customer who had reserved a premium rental for a major holiday. When you're spending this much money and planning an event around a specific attraction, reliability matters. I rented an Easter-themed bounce house from this company for a family Easter celebration that I was hosting. The bounce house delivered was not the one I requested, and I did not receive a discount, apology, or any meaningful response regarding the issue. On the scheduled pickup day, my family and I were outside enjoying a hibachi chef experience at my home. I received a call from the pickup driver requesting the gate code. I provided the code, but the call immediately disconnected. Because the children were screaming with excitement from the hibachi flames, I called back simply to confirm that he had heard the code and was able to enter the gate. When I asked whether he had gotten in, he responded, "Yeah." I politely said, "Okay," and he then rudely told me there was nothing else to discuss and that was why he had hung up. I told him that he did not need to speak to me in that manner. Because of his aggressive and disrespectful tone, I advised him not to come to my home and explained that I was uncomfortable. Despite being told that he was no longer welcome on my property, he came anyway. He then became involved in a verbal altercation with my mother and me. I repeatedly told him that he needed to leave, but he continued walking onto my property while yelling and using profanity. I ultimately called the police, who responded and escorted him away. This entire incident occurred during a family gathering, in front of children and invited guests. I have the police report, text messages, and copies of the online inquiries I submitted while repeatedly attempting to contact the company about this hostile situation. Despite reaching out for several days, I have still received no response. The wrong bounce house was delivered, there was no discount or apology, and the pickup interaction escalated to the point that police had to be called. I have never experienced anything like this with a bouncy rental company. This was an almost $1,000 rental. One of the really big slides. My party started at 12:30 pm and they were supposed to show up at 10:30 am. They didn't get there until 1:30 and the bouncy was not ready until 2:30. My party was over at 4 pm. They "let us keep it overnight" due to the delay at no additional cost but the party was over at 4. Keeping it didn't help with the party done at 4 pm. Then they were to pick it up the next day between 4-5 pm. They never showed, and we didn't get notified until 7 pm that they couldn't get it until the following day, Monday. I told them it's only ok to pick up the next day if they could pick it up before noon as we can't use our driveway with this massive deflated bouncy there. They agreed. Now, it's Monday, no notification and it's 1:30 pm. It's not been picked up. I had to call them, and they said they should be here between 4-5 pm! Total disregard for leaving their stuff at our house. They would hold us to a timeframe with their contract but somehow it doesn't apply to them. So, needless to say, their bouncy is still at our house. If you want to trust your bouncy will be delivered on time for your event and picked up when expected I would go with another company. I will mention they are reportedly (waiting for reimbursement) only going to charge me half the price since I only had it half my party and a $250 voucher for a future rental. I won't be using them again, even with this voucher. I should have gotten a full refund with this catastrophe. read more

1 Star - Unreliable and Unprofessional We used Sky High Party Rentals for an event at a school, and for the second time, they failed to honor the pickup window clearly stated in our signed contract. Our contract specified a 6:00-8:00 a.m. pickup window, which was critical because we were finishing a long overnight lock-in at a school gym. Other scheduled events were coming in, and the equipment had to be removed on time. I confirmed the pickup window the day before and explicitly explained how important it was that they arrive as agreed. 6:00 a.m. came... then 7:00... 7:30... 7:50. When I finally called to check on their status, I was told--without warning--that they were not coming until 1:15 p.m. This was obviously unacceptable and completely disregarded the contract. Because of their failure to show up, we were forced to manually drag extremely heavy equipment (over 300 lbs) out of the gym ourselves just so another team could practice. I repeatedly asked for a manager or anyone to call and explain how a contracted time window could simply be ignored. I was told multiple times someone would call. No one ever did. Later, after we had already left, I received a text saying the equipment had somehow been picked up- This is not the first time this company has failed to deliver as promised. We previously assumed it was just a bad day. It clearly was not. This company shows no respect for customers' time, contracts, or accountability. Based on repeated experiences, this is not a business I would recommend, especially for schools or events where timing and professionalism matter. read more

I have used them for YEARS, and given glowing recommendations to other family and friends. I have been immensely disappointed this time around when I booked a rental only to have a voicemail saying they weren't going to be able to fulfill the order with zero email confirmation of the cancelation or of a refund. When I called to ask if there were other rentals, they said that they were already out of rentals 2 days before I ever ordered but the system was not updated and still took my order. The person I spoke to was rude telling me if I read the agreement, I should have known they may not be able to fulfill the order since I booked 24 hours before the event. I had to request an email confirming the refund as one was not going to be sent. My main feedback to the company: please don't take the order if you are unsure you will fulfill it. Absolutely do NOT rent from this company! The equipment and service were both appalling and they ruined the party for the children. We rented an obstacle course bounce house for over $1000 for our Halloween party. The delivery folks arrived an HOUR late and we had to deal with instructing them on how/where/etc when our party had already started and we were trying to host our 70+ guests. By the time they were finished putting it up, they were TWO WHOLE HOURS LATE and well into our party. Once it was finally up, the obstacle course was extremely dirty, there was a disgusting smell when you went inside, and the worst part - the kids complained that there was some sort of slime all over the inside of the bounce house which made it extremely slippery and gross. We had over 35 kids at the bounce house and nobody wanted to go inside - and it cost us over a THOUSAND dollars to rent this bounce house. It's absolutely unacceptable. We rented from this company over the years - back in 2018, they took better care of their equipment and had newer bounce houses. I am not sure what happened, but their equipment and service have gone downhill and I will not rent from this company again. Their delivery folks are not professional and look and act like they are miserable. It is highway robbery what they did to me this past weekend, not to mention that they ruined the party for the kids - a party that I spent a lot of money and effort planning. The last time we rented a bounce house from this company was in June of this past year. We rented a water slide and they were TWO HOURS LATE then and it was 110 degrees here in Houston with lots of kids outside waiting for the water slide. Their blower wasn't working and they had to go get another one - it was a mess. We rent bounce houses about 2-3 times per year and I am done with Sky High and will go elsewhere. If you don't want to take the chance that your party is ruined for your kids, do not rent from this company. They can't be trusted to be there on time and their equipment is disgusting. read more

I reserved a rental a week in advance from 4PM to 8PM for my daughter's birthday party. The company contacted me at 4PM to let me know that the driver's truck had broken down. The driver showed up an hour later at 5:00PM and discovered he didn't have the bounce house on his truck. Although there were 4 different bounce houses on his truck, he said someone must have taken our rental. After further questioning, he admitted that he must have forgotten to load the bounce house. Bear in mind, the party already started & kids are very restless. I contacted the main office, and was told they would reach out to the warehouse manager to see if they would be able to get another bounce house to us. The company never called me back, and we had no bounce house in place for the party. Still to this day, we have yet to receive a call, explanation or apology. I won't ever use this place again! The personnel that I spoke with during phone conversations were fantastic. The delivery personnel were generally very good. The only thing I have to complain about was during delivery and setup, a waterproof plug casing was broken. It took a little effort to break it because it is constructed of thick plastic. My issue is that if the delivery crew informed me about it, I would have accepted the mistake. The crew did not tell me about it and left. To me that is a display of the lack of professionalism and respect. It does not reflect well for the rest of the Sky High personnel who try hard to provide great service. I am not going to let one person ruin it for the rest. I will still do business with Sky High. read more

But we finally got a resolution during the event with duct tape to prevent the air from leaking. After the event, the company was reasonable and fair to come up with a compromise. I could get into the 10 phone calls we had over 2 days with this company. I could go over the proactive pains I took to confirm and ensure we we're all set weeks in advance.
