I purchased our tickets in person and I was asked if I was part of their rewards program. I said that I thought that I was. I gave my phone number and was told that I wasn't in their system, but yet he didn't ask me if I wanted to sign up. After we got to our seats I went to their website to sign up for their rewards because I always take advantage of loyalty programs, and when I put my information in it said I was already a member. We went to the concession stand where I was informed that they were out of most of the beverages in the beverage station because they had been busy. My nephew then went to look at the candy selection and we struck out again. He wears braces and has a peanut allergy and there were no plain M&Ms or chocolate options without peanut butter, so we couldn't buy candy. When we got to our seats I was so shocked that I started laughing and took a picture before I sat down. The recliners are old and worn and worse than any furniture I have seen in people's homes. Thankfully my nephew enjoyed the movie (Elio).

Great big comfy recliners with swinging trays for your snacks and drinks. It wasn't as loud as I remember which was a nice change. Great time!

But I heard the current owner had made major changes so we stopped in on a super hot Saturday afternoon. Living in the area, I knew they added this portable deck that reaches out into the parking lane. This is nice, but this is Red Arrow Highway so you do get a lot of semi traffic which can be loud. They also have their smoker out there and today they were smoking their wings. It smelled wonderful. We opted to sit in the veranda, which is part of the original building, but they removed the front wall and built this cozy niche to sit and relax in. I was pleasantly surprised it was rather crowded at 2pm with people out on the deck, in the veranda, and inside. We zeroed in on the 2 Coney dogs with chips for $5.00 for both of us. They were very good and hit the spot. While we were eating, we decided that Sporty's will become one of our places we will be frequenting. The menu listed sandwiches, burgers, wings, and they also offer daily specials. I'm excited to return and try some of their other items.
