However, my Wife was able to get great intel on using Beep Beep Jeep. My Wife did a great job because this whole experience set up our vacation properly. From pickup to drop off. Well I rented a Willy's jeep. I ended up adding chairs, umbrella and even birthday surprise for my Wife. They provided a cake, drinks and snacks for my Wife's Birthday celebration, it was a very nice touch and appreciated. The equipment they provided came in handy. You do want to add on the equipment to your package. You'll soon realize it's a must. Since there are so many beaches, you'll have the choice on where to setup vs waiting for places to open to rent chairs or umbrellas. Trust, you'll be happy adding it to your packages. Also please get their insurance as well. You'll understand once you're there in Puerto Rico driving. Pick up, was easier than expected. Especially being our first time in Puerto Rico. They contact you the week of your reservation. Then you'll be contacted to where to meet once you land. I was handed the keys and loaded up and then went on our way. The jeep was fun to drive. Driving in Puerto Rico it is necessary to have an SUV or Jeep. It makes life easier navigating and parking with a Jeep vs any other vehicle. Drop off was a breeze. We kept in contact who dropped off our vehicle. We parked in a garage and followed instructions on how to notify Beep Beep Jeep with return of vehicle. Take pictures. In conclusion, I understand they may seem pricey, but once you consider how much car rentals charge for a Jeep, then don't forget about tolls and gas, you'll actually come out winning going this route. Beep Beep Jeep made life easier and started/ended our vacation properly. We will not hesitate to use them again in the future. We presumed this was in the rental car area along with the other companies. Nope! They never heard of Beep Beep. Dealing with these guys was like dealing with a couple of hustlers on a street corner. When we returned the vehicle, the staff apologized for the condition of the car. They explained that they could not process the refund through Expedia, so they told us a refund check would be mailed to our address instead. Unfortunately, despite their apology and promise, we never received the refund and never heard back from Alamo, even after following up. This was a very disappointing experience. Receiving a dirty vehicle with a cockroach infestation, followed by a promised refund that was never provided, reflects very poor customer service. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this Alamo location.

As soon as we stepped off the ferry, we were approached by several UTV rental companies. We ended up choosing UTV Rentals PR since they were the first to speak to us. The first red flag came almost immediately when their shuttle driver told us there wasn't enough room for both of us, so I had to leave my girlfriend behind while I went to pick up the UTV. When I arrived, the vehicle I was given appeared to be in rough condition, but I didn't think much of it. We were excited to start exploring the island. Unfortunately, our adventure took an unexpected turn. Around 5:02 p.m., our UTV suddenly stopped working, leaving us stranded. I immediately tried calling the rental company, but there was no answer--they had already closed for the day. I then called every phone number listed on our rental contract, but no one responded. After nearly 40 minutes of panicking, trying to troubleshoot the UTV, and even attempting to contact AAA, we were feeling completely helpless. As a last resort, I walked up a random road hoping to find someone who could help. That's when we met some of the kindest people we've ever encountered. They didn't hesitate to help us and even drove us back to the rental company. The driver introduced himself as Jerry. At first it didn't register, even though he was wearing a Jerry's Jeep Rental shirt, but I later realized it was Jerry himself. He and his wife showed us an incredible amount of kindness, compassion, and genuine hospitality when they had absolutely no obligation to do so. What started as a stressful experience ended with a reminder that the people you meet can make all the difference. Jerry and his wife turned a frustrating situation into one we'll never forget--not because of what happened, but because of how they treated us. We are truly grateful for their generosity and willingness to help complete strangers. If you're planning a trip to Culebra and are looking for a rental company that genuinely cares about people, I wholeheartedly recommend Jerry's Jeep Rental. (he refers to it as Pepe, "My Little Mule") Well our taxi driver Jorge on the isle of Vieques gave us a ride on his Little Mule. We called him up a few hours before our flight was due to leave, and set up a place to meet him on the Malecon of Esperanza (near the beach). We called them a little bit before our pick up time, and he said he was already there. So, we met up with him and threw our stuff into his white van, aka Pepe. Vieques is a small island east of the main island of Puerto Rico. It is known for it's world famous beaches, laid back feel, and small one-lane roads. Jorge picked us up, and BOOM! We were on our way. He zipped us around the island at light speed. He knew where every turn and bump was. "Hey maam, you ready?" he asked. He then sped up a little and we went over a little hill and our tummy's totally felt it---roller coaster style. Jorge was super nice, and gave us a tour of the island and advice----I SOOO wish we hooked up with him when we arrived on Vieques: next time! Since he was getting us to the airport way ahead of schedule, he went and gave us a tour of the W Resort (it's on the way to the airport). Jorge also works for this hotel and many customers knew him and gave him high 5's---he even picked up a few people when we stopped there. But yeah, he told us to get out and check out the resort: Ummm, yeah, it's a pretty high class hotel (I guess they filmed a recent episode of The Bachelor there). So yes, if you are ever in Vieques, make Jorge the first person you call. He (& his Little Mule) will take care of you and get you to where you need to go.
