I was not notified of the problem until the final week of my subsequent sale, which left me no time to resolve it and cost me nearly $7,000. I contacted the company and did not receive a resolution. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and as of this writing they have not responded to it. I have also filed a complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office. Recording the deed is a basic function of a title and escrow company.

I explained that on a previous call weeks ago this should have all been taken care of, he then talked over me again and exclaimed "what do you want me to do"!? Shocked I replied, I would like you to do what your colleague said would done previously, I also advised that the customer service I was receiving was very poor, then all of a sudden the supervisor hung up on me!!! Now, I can understand if a customer is being abusive and with warning that disconnecting the call may be warranted however I was NOT even close to being out of line in any way and did not deserve that kind of treatment!!!! Companies like this one where they hold your mortgage feel like they have you, you are not easily going to switch companies so their customer service can be sub par I suppose, that is all I can come up with! I am extremely disappointed in the service I have received regarding a loan application. I made it…read moreabundantly clear to champions mortgage's team that I absolutely needed to close today (May 1st 2024) with no exceptions. I have not heard from you or anyone at your company since April 17th. On that date, I asked when we would hear back from underwriting and was told two days. I found out two days before closing (April 29th), you contacted the seller's agent saying the "survey was incorrect and that we would need two separate loans". Then at 12pm on the closing date (May 1st) I get texts saying you "need three more days to close" with no reasoning and no contact prior explaining why you even needed three more days when you had all applicable information. Champions Mortgage reassured me we would close on time and there would be no issues. This is fraud and a breach of your fiduciary responsibility to me as your client and the buyer's agent (me) for this transaction. Another lender closed on the closing date, without two surveys (which champions was using as an excuse for delaying) with ZERO problems and less of an interest rate. I am now out the appraisal fee due the the breach of fiduciary duty and total lack of competence from this outfit. Emails regarding this have gone unanswered.
