The initial time suggested wouldn't work for me so Edvin stated he would be on site 30 mins earlier. 10:30 AM arrives. No-show from Edvin. No communication, no update, no notice. 8 mins past our agreed upon meeting time, I had to be the one to initiate finding out what happened. Shouldn't the business be the one letting me know if they couldn't make the time BEFORE the agreed upon time? After finding out Edvin couldn't meet that day, he said he could be there the following day at 11AM. Again, another no-show from this company. No communication, no update, no notice. Even after giving them the benefit of the doubt asking if we were still meeting 7 mins AFTER the agreed time, Edvin chose to read the message and remained silent. I thought it was a small job and paid deposit right away. They said they could start Monday Dec 5. Then Dec 9 Edvin said the metals have been delayed for a week due to the holidays. Dec 29 I asked when they would start. They scheduled then canceled on me Jan 14, 26, 30, then Feb 8, and said it was due to inclement weather. Then they handed me off to Sam and said there was confusion and language barrier. Then Feb 25 they said they were waiting on metals again but they did start pulling off the damaged roof. Then I contacted them Mar 1, 3 and no answer. Then Mar 4, 6, 11, 17, 18, 19, 24, 29 it was either sporadic or no communication until I threatened bad reviews. Apr 1 they replaced the new metal roof section. It was not the matching striation of the original panels but I didn't make them change it. I inspected the work and I asked them to cover a small soffit area with metal to protect it and make it look uniform. Also they needed to clean up their scraps. Apr 20 they still had not come back. May 21 they asked for final payment. I reminded them they needed to do the touchups and clean up again. May 25 they finally completed the work and I submitted final payment.

My roof project was unusually complex. The roof was a combination of shingles and torch-down roofing, and I also wanted to build overhangs around the entire perimeter of the house to protect the foundation and exterior. My house was built in the 1940s without eaves. I contacted 12 major roofing companies, and only three had the knowledge and skills to take on the project. Even then, all three needed me to hire additional contractors for parts of the work, and their quotes were extremely high. Affordable Roofing & Construction came highly recommended by a friend's neighbor who had hired him several times. Anthony evaluated the roof and immediately understood what needed to be done. He explained the process and was very easy to work with throughout the project. Anthony always responded to my questions, showed up when he said he would, and finished the work as promised. The roof looks great and my neighbors have commented that the new overhangs look like they have always been part of the house. The smart vents he installed reduced my cooling costs, made the house much more comfortable, and reduced the strain on my HVAC system that was immediately noticeable. What impressed me most was that Anthony addressed several issues he discovered along the way, including problems with the gutters, a massive ant nest under the roof, a downspout issue, and chimney repairs. He is clearly very skilled and detail-oriented and he went well beyond the original scope of work. I've worked with many contractors during my home remodel, and this was the only times I felt comfortable not having to supervise every step of the process. Anthony sent daily progress photos and patiently answered all of my questions along the way. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I highly recommend him for all roof needs.

Multiple times. The north side of our house was instantly flooded, water coming through the windows that were opened (that was the end of open windows) and the gutter system failed miserably. Roof size / gutter and downspout capacity were not aligned. Nick, one their team members, was onsite and quickly diagnosed the problem to be downspout positioning (one of the two basically useless) and suggested they add a third one. From there it has been months (!) of chasing Kevin and Jeff. Replying to emails was not working and with voicemails that are full and not accepting additional messages, it was quite challenging. After GC stepped in, I was given a quote for gutters screen (an upgrade I requested) and the additional downspout that was needed. After *three* months of chasing them, the first installation date they would offer is three months out. Total of six months!! My expectation that they cover the cost of the downspout that they have failed to install in the right place in the beginning and recommended I add after the fact was flat out rejected. The ugliness of this company came straight out in blaming me for the mistake (the newly found gutter specialist). Then claiming their team member should have never recommended it and that it was not the problem. Going on and on about all of the various reasons it is my responsibility and not theirs. Many thousands of dollars of a project. $150 fix (paid to someone else who did it in ~30 minutes of work). Losing you good name, integrity and reputation like this reflects on the company, leadership and quality of work (or lack thereof) you can expect from RoofWorks Northwest. The images are of the actual one way email communications I had with them for ~3 months. As well as the latest reply I refined. I had two other vendors take a look at the fix, add the gutters screen protectors (additional business) and do the job in les than a week. I'd go with either of them - or many others - before RoofWorks Northwest. They are not worthy of your business and evidently, won't be there for you after.

Neil came out to give us a quote himself, and was very thorough and informative. No pressure at all. We got a few other quotes as well, but we loved that Davison is owned by a local family, and that the husband and wife team are 100% behind the operations. Their price was on par or substantially lower than the other quotes we received. The roofers showed up on time and as promised and worked hard for four days, starting at 8am, and sometimes even working until 8pm. They started on a Tuesday, and by Friday night, they were all done. We are so impressed with the work that was done. It is absolute perfection. From the explanation, to the list of local addresses we could check out to see what each color looks like, to how well they executed the pattern, the layout, the clean up, the communication - all of it.
