The guys were hard workers, I had a lot of weeds on the driveway and it took them 2 days of pressure washing. The day the driveway was sealed, it down poured about 15 minutes after the completed the job. Naturally, I was concerned the sealant wouldn't have had time to set and reached out to the company. They assured me it was ok. 6 weeks later and my driveway looks like it was never treated. Very disappointed in the results, I might as well have set $3k on fire. Reached out to the company via email first and was ignored, finally got in touch with them via phone after several attempts and was told there was nothing they can do and encouraged me to now pay for a weed removal team. I understand the rain was unfortunate but I feel that the company could have done more to make sure I had quality results instead of dismiss my concerns when I immediately reached out. Very disappointed and I feel like it was a complete waste of money. They were hard workers while they were out there, and that is the reason I am giving them any stars to be honest. Unfortunately I do not recommend this company.

They always leave the yard better than when they started and Greg calls you and makes sure it is done the way you wanted it done. I had them put in a new yard after mine died and had to put in a sprinkler system so I could get a pest agent to even look at the lawn. They not only took care of the lawn and the sprinkler for a reasonable price and quick but found me a great pest management company too. I love them so much I hired them to cut my lawn and just recently built me a new fence. The fence had to be done quickly because of HOA issues they put up the fence and talked to the HOA for me, so I had more time to get the new fence installed. They are the most polite, wonderful, helpful, honorable group of men I have ever worked with, and I am Blessed to have found them. I highly recommend them for any job.

I called Champion and emailed them, of course they never responded. That is just how they do "business". About 7 years after they replaced the roof we had a leak. We went to their office and made an app for them to come out, they NEVER did. Second time we came to their office, Christopher saw us, ran and lady at the front said that he is not there :) Such wonderful humans. When I called City of Jax they stated that this company never paid for the permit and they never submitted copy of the contract. Nice work! Owner of this company at the time tried to scam us with paying more for services they did not do, so this company is the last place you want to do business with. We did not speak English well in 2007 as we do now, so they obviously realized they can scam foreigners. 2007 were different times. Now we can read reviews online and avoid companies like this one.

Champion Roofing replaced the roof on our house a couple of months before we purchased it and…read moreincluded a long-term warranty. Our home inspector noticed that water was pooling on part of the roof and suggested that the warranty should cover improper installation leading to water retention. Shortly after completing the sale, we reached out to Champion to register the warranty. Tina confirmed that this would be no problem, and she would start working on the paperwork. We mentioned the pooling water, and she told us that her boss (Chris, the owner) was out of town. He would get back to us upon his return. A week later, we had heard nothing about either the water or the warranty. This began two months of getting the run around. We would call, be told that the warranty was in process and Chris would reach out shortly, and then nothing would happen. This week, a branch fell on our roof, puncturing it in two places. Obviously, the warranty doesn't cover that, but we asked if Champion could repair the damage. After a few phone calls, Chris finally visited our home for the first time. I suppose he saw an opportunity to get paid again. He quoted a price for the puncture repair, and we asked him about the pooling water. His curt and rather rude response was, "That's normal. It's a flat roof. What do you expect?" I pointed at the even flatter carport roof that the same team installed right next to the pooling water and said, "That roof is also flat, but it doesn't hold water." I told Chris that his response was not acceptable. He described what he thought he could do, but said, "It won't fix the problem." He then sent us a proposal costing an additional $500, knowing that by his own admission it would probably be insufficient. We hold that a properly installed roof shouldn't retain pools of standing water for more than 48 hours and that the installation company should fix such deficiencies in their work when they arise. You can clearly see a dip between the edge and the center of that section of roof. Contrary to Chris's claim, it isn't a flat roof. Due to Champion's bad installation, it is a dipping roof. Additionally, when installing the carport roof, the crew did not take care to align their nails to the trusses, so there are long roofing nails poking through the underside of the ceiling in multiple locations. It's quite ugly. To resolve the punctures made by the fallen branch, we hired a different company that came to fix the damage within a few hours (after a single phone call), and they charged us less than half of what Chris quoted us. Clearly, the roof was not installed properly, and we are quite disappointed that Champion refuses to address their mistakes. Other homeowners should beware especially if your home doesn't have a steep roof, if you care about what the finished product looks like, or if you value prompt and courteous customer service.

I recently noticed a area in my yard was not getting proper watering and went out to look at it so…read more looking at it, I had noticed they poured concrete for the Post to hold the gate and it was up against the sprinkler head, so I was able to remove two chunks that were up against the sprinkler head and then turned the irrigation on and it was not rotating properly so I called them up to take care of it for me ( to clean up the concrete that they poured right next to the sprinkler head and fix it ) So a guy came out, took a look at it took pictures made notes and said he would get back with me. Never heard back from them for 10 days. So I called.them back to find out what was going on, and the secretary would give them a note to call me back The guy that came out that looked at the problem called me back and he said the owner Scott ( which is on the beach Boulevard location) it was out of warranty. What a crock! The stuff was there the day they left ! I had spent a good amount of money with them ( also had them do another project In that time frame ) and yet Scott couldn't fix a problem for me being it was out of warranty when I caught the problem wow! That is poor customer service I work in the trade industry-as well, but not what they do, but I know what I do for a living demands quality and customer service are the most important thing for what I do. Would not recommend them and won't ever do business with them ever again !

Along the way, they noticed a few things that needed attention and called/emailed us immediately to inform us and to see what we wanted to do. Communication was great throughout the entire job. Michael was the main handyman on the job and was wonderful! His attention to detail with the woodworking was excellent. Freddy also helped Michael during the process. Both gentlemen were kind, respectful and careful with how they handled the jobsite. I also have to give a shout out to Scott (owner) and Brittany (office) - they were great to work with. He even got us a quote on the spot to see what it would cost to extend the original plan. We decided to go with the original plan. They got the materials and started around 10:30/11. By 2 pm they completed the entire project. He gave us a few tips, we paid, and they were on their way. Pros: -Start to finish the process was easy breezy -Liked the fact that we had the option to extend our patio (if we wanted to) -Time to screen everything in was roughly 4 hours -I liked the fact that we were given the option of having a larger door to access the porch from the outside. Cons: -None that I'm aware Tips: Let the sealant dry before sweeping in your new screened in porch (we were given that tip, as the sealant is tacky for up to 24 hours after installed).
