    My new surfboard

Super happy with my new board. I have been looking for a while and stopped at a couple of other shops outside of Rhode Island. Everyone was so friendly in the shop and Fred took some time to explain all the different boards and the styles I should be there working with to start learning. He is very patient and professional and answered all my questions. I'm so happy with my new board and I can't wait to go back to in the water. Can't recommend this place. Good job.

Ran in here once to grab some sunglasses before the beach. The great thing about it is the location. Walking distance from the beach. The bad thing is how expensive this place is. I paid $25 for a pair of sunglasses. Which is the cheapest they had. I've never paid that much- more of a forever 21 shopper but I had lost those. But I though hey time to invest in a real pair that I'll keep for some time. Well they actually started peeling not long after I bought them. Getting blue paint pieces in my hair. It's fine for a last minute fix but I don't think I'd shop here regularly.

We overall had a good experience. I signed one of my kids up for the lessons and there were people of all ages learning! I'd love to convince my husband to learn with me and suck up his fear of sea monsters bahahahahaha! My daughter had a great experience and lots of fun! The prices are great also to do the group classes which are labeled camp and school but it's just a name they didn't pick for the group classes. Camp is 2 hrs where the school is 4 hrs of learning. They also rent out boards at reasonable prices also.

This used to be one of the premier windsurfing stores in the US but it was sold in 2007. Now it sucks. Don't bother.

Great store. Much more focused on surfing and SUP these days. Huge selection and very friendly helpful staff. Highly recommend!

It was our first time surfing in Rhode Island, and they were super helpful with us picking out the proper Beach since the waves were really rough that day.

Was a task just to confirm the reservation for a lesson for 10 people. When we showed up - parking was a nightmare at the beach. I specifically asked about parking / general info ahead of time. Would have been helpful for the locals to give a couple pointers and maybe let us know that wrist bands need to be purchased for all beachgoers, but whatever - that's on me. Just seemed like a little common courtesy / customer service. Here's the real issue though. 1 instructor for 10 kids!! The beach lesson was maybe one minute long before he had all of them (ages 16 - 5yrs old) walking into ocean and getting pummeled in the break. They had no idea how to protect themselves or others from the surf board getting thrown around. Kids were getting smashed by boards around them. Several of the adults jumped into ocean to help the kids get past the break and stayed in water to ensure they were somewhat safe. The instructor seemed to only give tips to one kid at a time when he was prompted to give a tip (ie - when do you start paddling to catch a wave). Instructor admitted it was too much for him to handle on his own but that's just how WW operates. If it was a group of 10 random strangers there would be two instructors, but apparently when it's a 'private lesson' of 10ppl - only one instructor regardless of how rough the ocean is. Unacceptable. Dangerous. Should be ashamed of themselves. Find another surf shop for your lessons!
