Even though I have only 1-bed apartment at WP Corp, so 5 rooms, the guy called Joel asked me for $2900, instead of their announced common charge of $400 per room, including free white color for the ceilings. I accepted $2900, insted of $2000 (s 5 X $400 per room) since I wanted painting of 4 closets inside and the ceiling in the L/R needed some plastering. Joel considered the cIosets as 1 separate room. I showed the guy what to plaster on the ceiling. There were two strips on there, which had some rough plastering after an electrical repair made by the previous owner. On 3/04/24 they, 3-4 Hispanics, started and completed the work. But it was a disasterin the L/R ceiling. They have tried to make it as pop-corn from that liquid material which is sold in Home Depot. I called Joel, he came, and we had an argument. The ceiling was made worse than it was before the paiting. He had misunderstood my request about the plastering. This is what happens with guys who don't understand the common English. Finally, he agreed to a discount of $400, and I paid $2500. Even after a month I discover many points on the walls without any plastering at all. If I wasn't an old man, I could do a better job myself. Folks, stay away from them! Gus, in WP, Bayside.

When our previous painter retired, we did not know who to trust to paint the exterior of our c. 1928 English Tudor home, that has a few demanding staging areas to safely paint it without damaging our slate roof. The PPP team was very pleasant, professional, and prompt to work every day. They made short work of our painting project and paid attention to every detail that we asked them to include gently working around our flower and foundation shrubs that added to the challenge. Read every negative review they have and you will see that most of the 5 star reviews seem fake. The only reason I chose to go with them is because he said they could get the job done (deck painting) in 2-3 days (had it in the contract). They powerwashed the first day. Sanded and put the primer on the second day. This is where everything went south. The next day, they were supposed to do the first coat of paint, Joe said his guy will be there in the afternoon, the guy never showed up, even after I followed up with Joe multiple times alerting him the guy wasn't here. Extremely unprofessional part 1. Next afternoon, guy shows up, supposedly puts the first coat of paint on. He leaves my house without even alerting me he's done and asking me to check. After he leaves I noticed he missed a lot of spots. Spots that didn't even have primer on it, let alone a first coat of paint. I sent the photos to Joe and instead of acknowledging the situation and looking at the evidence, he accuses me of lying and trying to scam them out of 3 coats of paint instead of 2... I'm attaching the photos so you can see there was CLEARLY zero primer or first coat of paint, but since his guy said he did it, he accused me, the customer, of trying to scam him. The next day since the original painter was busy, he sent someone named Franklin to finish the job. This was the only saving grace of the whole experience, Franklin was a true professional and actually cared about my needs and made sure he did a good job. He should leave this god awful company, they don't deserve him. So Franklin assured me he would fix the other guys' errors, he called Joe to let him know I wasn't lying and guess what? Zero apologies from Joe. They needed another day of painting because of the first guy's mistakes and Joe decided to come to my house on that day to make sure they got paid. He tried shaking my hand, I refused and I told him I didn't appreciate him insinuating that I was a liar and was trying to rip them off for an extra coat of paint. Only then did he try and apologize. His excuse was that he deals with "terrible customers" on a daily basis that try and take advantage of them etc... Maybe it's because he is terrible at being a professional.
