So it's been a while since I've updated here. But it's my go-to place for wine. Over the past 5…read moreyears or so that he's been open the place has focused it's offerings for the local community. It's been great to watch them evolve over time. They carry a wide variety of price points for both spirits and wine. You will find something that fits your needs. Easy parking in front (pay attention to the hydrant), or in the parking lot next to the store. Update 29 2021

This place was originally a seller of furry rodent-like animals. They were particularly annoying…read moreanimals, and would never stop complaining. They were whiners, lets be honest. And the worst part was, they were whiny on purpose. They knew what they were doing and did it anyway. Hence the name of the business used to be "Intentional Whiny Ferrets." Thankfully they stopped selling ferrets (because Starlight and Mutu orchestrated a liberation operation and now Delaware Park is full of ferrets but that's another story. Except for that one ferret that moved to Italy and opened a start-up car company (Ferretari). This is probably the best wine & spirits store in the world. Says he that does not go to any wine and spirits stores anywhere, ever. Seriously, though, the prices are excellent, the service is impeccable, and as someone who has never liked wine, ever in my life, I can say that the Chardonnay that they recommended I buy for the party I was attending was absolutely delicious! Beyond delicious, I would actually drink it again! And again! And again! And ag... (hic)... (hic)... What's more they are giving away free samples... it's in a part of town where a lot of places don't care about presentation and decor but they have a really lovely, well lit, clean, modern looking space that makes you feel at home. Absolute credit to the owners and the employees for the way they run it and the lovely "spirit" of the place. Pun in ten did. So now I guess I have to reveal why I was actually here. Maria took me here to get me good and drunk. What she didn't know is that she didn't need to get me drunk to get some action, I mean think about it. But anyway, it's what she did. Let's just say that there was plenty of "Double Dutch" spoken that night. I try and recall exactly what happened but my memory "Clogs", nevertheless it felt like the Garden of Edam when she did her thing with her Tulips, and it was so good that I've really Gouda do it again one of these days. One thing though, she thought the ferrets sold by this store were hamsters, and she instructed them to stop the rain water from flooding her basement, in essence, making a Hamsterdam. When the hamsters left, she replaced them with otters... making an Otterdam.
