We had an amazing time here as part of a Yelp Elite Squad event. We got a personal tour of the whole establishment. We saw every room from Ave throwing, party room, smash rooms, paint rooms and two new and upcoming activity rooms which will be available in the next few weeks. The hosts and staff were extremely helpful, friendly and excited to show us all of what I-Smash has to offer. We learned that this was the first I-Smash and they now franchise about 100 other facilities. The nearest from Rochester location is Syracuse and Albany. The I-Smash is a great place for all. Customers as young as 3 yrs old can have fun, as well as corporate team building, date nights, birthdays, Bachelorette or bachelor party's, you name it! I had my daughters bday here about 3 years ago. Great experience! My daughter wanted a low key get together this year and chose June 19th for the event. We had reservations for 7 at 4:30. We arrive at 4:15. I go in to make sure we are all set. The guy behind the counter was waiting on 3 people who walked in (no reservations) with crocs. As I was giving him our names he told me to hold on, because the party w/crocs waivers were coming up. I told him I'll be back in w/my party. He said ok. I went back to my car at 4:24 got the rest of my party and was back inside. We walk back in, no one is at the desk. The guy that waited on me, was in the party room fixing the Tv. We waited 2-3 minutes for him. He comes out and he is trying to find our waivers. At that time, Taylor (Gm) comes out and tells the guy he will need to shorten our time. I asked for clarification as we waited for them! Needless to say after watching the video, Taylor tells me there is a party coming in and they need to shorten our time. The fact that I had reservations and paid, meant nothing. They wasted my time w/people w/crocs and fixing TV's. No compensation nothing just "I'll refund your money. Not cool!! Just in case, they try to say we should have arrived early I did but they don't require it! read more

My nephews and I did the starter package for the rage room and the splatter paint. We were able to hook up our phones to our own music and were left alone in the room to go at it and just have fun. It was a good time and something different to experience. I don't think we needed any more than 20 minutes in each room so it was nice to have the two starter options that we could get just a taste of each. The people at the desk were friendly and quick to get us situated and the online scheduling was pretty straightforward. Thanks for a fun outing! read more

What a great stress release this was. I went here with several family members and we got lots of stuff to smash for 5 starter packages! 30 minutes was a good amount of time before we got too sore from swinging sledgehammers. Precautions are taken by the company, but you still need to use common sense. We were finding keyboard fragments in our bras and glass bits in the soles of our shoes despite abiding by all of the regulations, so just be extra aware of the "splashback" when you're forcefully shattering these objects. We added on some axe throwing to our smash package and honestly i could have done without it. They have to walk you down to separate part of the plaza into a small room with 2 lanes. I liked the electronic scoring but it was hard to get around the room as all the furniture (bar stools, tables) was bolted to the ground. It felt like we were interfering with our lane neighbors as well. Overall, a good adult family outing and we hope to do it again soon! read more

Such a fun way to relieve some stress I didn't know I had! Getting a reservation was easy, then we walked in, put on some safety gear, and started destroying things. I have to say, it's surprisingly fun to hit a keyboard with a baseball bat and watch the keys explode everywhere in the air. Definitely a small room, so it was good for the two of us but probably not too many more. However, such a fun experience overall. I'd do it again! read more

We smashed stuff. We pounded stuff. We yelled about stuff. We laughed about stuff. Very satisfying. Very cathartic. I highly recommend this place to safely and legally get out your frustrations. The Tyvek suits and protective helmets are very hot so dress lightly and wear sturdy shoes. Be prepared for massive amounts of sweat. If you have some significant items that you want to vent your frustrations on, you can bring your own stuff to smash. read more

I've been here a couple of times. We did the Splatter Paint and Rage Room. Both were a lot of fun and a great way to spend time with the family. The Splatter Paint experience provided a variety of paint colors and a canvas for each of us to go wild with. The lighting made it a cooler experience. We chose the Rage Room experience with both glass and electronics. All of the items were fun to break. They have protective gear for both experiences, making them fun, clean, and safe. read more

This place was certainly different but it had its moment. I don't know how often or if I would return again because there was a lot of standing around with 4 of us there. While one person is going to town on large electronics, the throw wall is blocked. The podium right in the middle begs you to place something on it and swing for the fence, but it's right in prime throwing lanes. I wish there was a slow-mo camera near the wall or stump to watch things get pulverized. YES! When punching people or destroying property is frowned upon...you venture to Smash Therapy. This place is amazing. The staff is great and accommodating. It gets a little warm in the room; but there's a fan that is available in the room. You're able to play your own music, but I didn't have time to get it going...I just wanted to smash items.
