The rec room locations in Canada had really terrible reviews and we decided to look local. Vivid's website was pretty easy to use and book our appointments, we went with the $30 pp premium for an hour (all the standard games + some others). I suggest coming earlier to get used to the controls, it's a little different. We had so much fun, highly recommended. I do love the free classic arcade games in the front that we can play as we wait. Thoughtful touch. It was really just putting to a hole you could see directly in front of you. The background would change slightly. With AI, I think this could have been cooler than that. It just wasn't what I was expecting. The real golfers in our group seemed more pleased with it, and to me, their courses and backgrounds were better. I don't think this place has food on site. Our group prordered from them through some kind of catering. It was good. There was also drinks included at the bar (non alcoholic), and you could get alcoholic drinks if you paid for them. The bartender was very nice. This was a cool event for a group. Not being a golfer myself, I don't think I'd head back, but if there was another group event there I wouldn't mind going back.

Our guice Sierra did an excellent job and we managed to escape the room in 50 minutes or so. There were 7 of us, which, as other reviewers have mentioned, is probably the correct number. Please note they do not do refunds here but can hold tickets for you to use in the future - as was the case for us since we had two folks unable to attend. They have a fun game room for after your escape and have the classic "take a photo" setup that you'll find at other escape rooms around town. I find $35 to be pretty high for the experience overall but it is a nice way to change things up. I would recommend a stop by if you're looking for a great Escape experience!

This place is hidden upstairs in a building that looks like a medical office. It does not boast itself from the road, and you have to read signs once inside to figure out where to go. It is not handicap accessible from what I saw. Our game master was great, and very upfront about them being understaffed and running two games at once. The room was well put together with tough puzzles to solve. You need a lot of out of the box style thinking here. When they needed to help another room and were gone for a while, while we were looking for a helpful clue from them, they added the time they were gone to our room to make up for it. In the end we were successful and solved the White Lady's Castle room here.

There were many riddles in order to progress and all are solvable if you read and think about the clues you find. We finished the Sunken Treasure room with two minutes to spare. It was close and we had to ask for two clues and were also given some hints along the way when we were in the weeds. That definitely made it more enjoyable and kept us moving. We were a group of six, which was the most I'd recommend. We all contributed, which was nice, and it kept us all engaged. As far as age, we ranged from 24 to 62. However, our room seemed appropriate for someone as young as 10 as long as adults are with them. I'm not sure if the business has any age policy. Advice: keep your eyes open and look at everything! We will definitely be back for the other rooms. The Haunted B&B will be our next challenge!
