Dr Troy came in and gave me the what for about flossing then provided a solid report on my dental hygiene. He even made time to clean my wife's teeth and provide an exam, even though we had cancelled a few days before because of uncertainty regarding her availability. In 2023, his hygienist called the decay on the back of my lower front teeth to his attention. I had teeth cleanings 3-4 times a year & was surprised that it was so bad that I would need implants for my lower front teeth. He had an implant specialist one day a month in office & appointments were very rushed. The last implant appointment to place the posts was so painful that I needed many local injections to get through it. My gums had to be cut, stretched & stitched in several places. My gums, tongue & entire mouth were swollen, sore & raw for a month Dr. Voiers prescribed medication for a fungal infection to which I had a severe allergic reaction. The emergency room tests were negative for a fungal infection. After paying thousands of dollars & wearing a temporary device for many months, I sought treatment elsewhere. My new dentist & the implant specialist to whom he referred me found that one implant post was missing & another placed at a bad angle. There was no pain with the new posts & procedures. It took over a year to finally get my lower front teeth implants. I trusted Dr. Voiers & was very disappointed that he didn't refer me to a capable implant specialist instead of keeping it in-house.

The receptionist here is extremely rude and it's impossible to schedule an appointment with them due to their third party scheduler (they never know whats going on, nor do they speak English to any extent, really). On top of all of that, I had to have my wisdom teeth surgically removed. They referred me to their oral surgeon at the Fairlawn location, which was fine. However, my appointment had been made for over a week and they didn't call me regarding my insurance coverage until not even 24 hours before my appointment. It was over $1,000 and they expected me to pay it all at once, no payment plans. This isn't the first time something like this has happened with them, either. Save yourself the trouble of going to any Dental Works.
