Have to repost since yelp took down my first review.... My…read moredaughter went here for years with no incident for routine cleanings. I generally give medical offices the benefit of the doubt, but this year we were handled very unprofessionally at every appointment we attended. The practice itself is very nice and clean. The staff is generally friendly. At a routine appointment I was alerted that they had found an extra tooth on my daughter's routine x-ray. I trusted their recommendation as to next steps; see the resident orthodontist for a consult. We scheduled the consult for the following week. The only thing I needed from any doctor at this practice, was an opinion of whether the extra tooth needed to be surgically removed. Remember this. At the orthodontist visit, they initially did not seem to review her records or know why she was there and immediately started talking about braces (even the receptionist said the phrase "First Braces Appointment" we checked in over the phone). Sometimes days are busy and our consult was a little out of norm for what the orthodontist generally sees, so I didn't think much of it. But the tech nor doctor knew about the extra tooth until I put the brakes on the braces talk and specifically brought it up. They pulled up the radiograph and essentially said "we'll have to schedule a panoramic which is great because she'll need that for braces too"... and immediately went super hard into selling braces and performing an oral exam on my daughter to show me all the spots braces will fix. Braces are on my horizon, but they were not my concern for that appointment. After the non-assessment, the tech made it a point to tell me that my "insurance is great" and "where does your husband work?" not realizing that it is my own insurance from my engineering job. I brushed it off and they told me that my insurance would probably pay for the panoramics and a good chunk of the braces my daughter seemed to so urgently need. I was then ushered to the receptionists where I scheduled our panoramic radiographs. I was sent home with a flyer saying that we were enrolled in the "First step towards braces!$!$!" Still, we came back the next week for the panoramic. I called from the parking lot to check in and they asked what we were there for (after not initially seeing my daughter's name on the schedule). I responded "[Daughter's name] is here for imaging" (because they specifically told me Thursdays are for imaging...their own words). The receptionist said "Ma'am, you know this is a dental office right?" Anyways, of course the images couldn't be assessed remotely (I just needed a professional opinion on whether the extra tooth needed to be surgically removed)...I'd need to schedule another orthodontist consult for that! At this point I put the breaks on everything. I had now taken time out of my work schedule 3 weeks in a row to take my daughter to their practice. Nothing was ever communicated clearly. No one answered why we needed another in-person orthodontist consult. Today I received a $215 bill for those x-rays. Guess my "husband's insurance" isn't so good after all. I don't recommend this practice anymore. It's family friendly, but they don't seem to respect client time at all, considering the fact that I am still left answer-less after they've seemingly squeezed enough money out of my dental insurance.

Everything is always rushed and I can't get my questions answered even though I don't ask much. It also seems like they mistreat their staff, because they can't seem to hold onto people for very long. We were referred here by my brother-in-law who went to dental school with Dr. Milton Ntragatakis and also used to bring his kids here. "Used to" because it's been going downhill ever since Dr. Brittany took over. According to my BIL, Dr. Milton drives a fancy car and has a fancy house and quit working a while ago (he's 40ish like my BIL) because he just skates by on the profits from this tooth mill. My son is such an easy kid, but he had said it felt uncomfortable to close his mouth ever since Dr. Eilish put in his first filling. Maybe it's a good thing it cracked after 2 months? We had it redone by Dr. Brittany, who was grumpy and distracted. He still says it feels uncomfortable, and being 10, he's self-conscious that the filling looks like a blob instead of like a tooth. My BIL says they're supposed to test the bite to make sure it fits together well, and that it should look like a tooth if the dentist does it right. Neither dentist bothered with those details. I guess getting a hack job done fast is more important than a kid's long-term comfort. So now my sweet kid had to do this again and is still uncomfortable. Not to mention having to pay for it again, but maybe that's their goal? Their billing department is also a train wreck. I feel bad that I referred a friend here. She brought her baby to see Dr. Eilish for tongue tie and said Dr. Eilish was awkward, rushed, didn't answer her questions, and seemed like she was always on her way out of the room. To be fair, my friend's older kid (who is special needs) sees Dr. Derek and they love him. Apparently he's kind and careful, manages her needs even though I'm sure it takes extra time, and her fillings actually look like teeth! If we ever come back to this place, we're only going to see him.

I am making this post on my daughter's behalf as she is a first time parent with a full schedule…read moreand I have the time. Her 2yr old toddler has had 2 visits in this office. The first appt was a good experience , her father brought her in and they gave him advice on continuing to do good hygiene and to limit juice to 2x a week and encourage more water. This visit was quick but it was only an exam which is to be expected. For a little background this is an interracial couple. Only one parent came for this first visit. The toddler had an unfortunate accident which caused her to lose a tooth and impact another. She was taken to the ER and the parents were told to follow up with her dentist within a week. As this has happened mom has taken time off from work to care for the baby. She had follow-up appointments scheduled with the pediatrician and dentist and would need leave paperwork filled out. On the second visit: Both parents come to the appt. the dental assistant comes in and asks "what brings them in today?" Mom begins to explain that the baby jumped off of the couch and hit her face on the coffee table which caused the injury to her teeth. As mom is explaining the dentist rushes in and asks "what brings you in today?"so mom explains why they are there again. The dentist looks in the toddler's mouth calls out to his assistant that the "central left is missing and the other tooth is impacted". He then turns to the mom and tells her "so why are you here?" She responds "we are here as a follow-up visit to see what the next steps would be" He says there is not a next step her tooth may come back down we have to wait and see if it does and to follow up in 6 months." He then says "he can't fill out her paperwork bc he didn't tell her to take time off from work and didn't prescribe medication and this isn't a serious injury that she would have needed to take time off from work." He asked her if she had x-rays? Mom says "yes hey took x-rays at the ER but she doesn't have them" and tried to explain why she needed the papers filled out and he would not allow her to get a word in only telling her that she "should go back to the ER to get them to fill it out bc they are idiots and should have done it if they told her to take time off from work." He ended the visit saying he can't fill out the paperwork and that she "can fill it out herself and send it in it will be okay." He said "if I fill this out it's not going to look good like I did something wrong here." Making it seem as if taking a week off from work would have been an improper response to take care of your child. The take away from this experience: Why wouldn't you take time off to care for your child if they are injured??? Why would you bring in the x-ray from the ER? Why wouldn't Dr.Armanazi look up the X-rays in the medical database? Why would mom fill out leave paperwork and turn in without a Doctor's signature so it can be denied? He left the parents feeling rushed, disappointed, and that they were wasting his time. Next steps: Visit google, Ohio state dental board, insurance carrier, and most importantly find a new dental practice who is more professional and has the time to properly evaluate and care for patients.

We transferred here in 2018 after our original dentist retired. Loved the atmosphere and the accommodations to make it more comfortable the the little ones. Dr A and his staff are great with the kids. BUT - in the few years we have been coming here - our visits are no more than ten minutes. Sometimes less. Compared to the other dentist we were seeing - it just didn't feel like a thorough exam. This last time we went - I purposely timed it and with X-rays, a visit from Dr A and a cleaning - we were in and out in 8 minutes. Just doesn't seem right - and compared to the other pediatric dentist - the visits were 3x as long. I get they're kids and don't have the patience - but the exams are missing something. Going with my gut and switching to someone that takes more time for what I'm paying for.
