I did not get a quality pedicure in addition to that. There was someone in another chair getting a pedicure, which had already started, and by the time I was done with my pedicure, she was still in the chair, getting her relaxing pedicure. I did not complain because that would have further disrupted the peace I was seeking. However, I would not recommend the shop to anyone ever, not because everyone will get a bad experience, but because they don't care enough to make sure that everyone has the same spa experience. I was initially hesitant about this place based on the reviews, but my wedding anniversary is tomorrow, and I can't be showin' up with gnarly feet. There were no customers, and the gentlemen were very polite. This place only takes cash tips, so I told them to give me five minutes to get cash and come back. Came back, and the water was already running for me. There's no wifi here, so you can't surf the web on your phone, but it allowed me to just relax, enjoy the acoustic meditative music as waterfalls played on a tv, and lose myself to my thoughts. What I really appreciated about this place was how quiet my stylist was. I like to talk as much as the next person, but at a salon, I want to zone out. This guy was quiet, but never rude. He knew what I needed and did an excellent job without filling the silence with small talk. I respect that so much. I came here on a Thursday morning. I'm actually still sitting here while Jimmy does my pedicure. He is taking his time and is very meticulous about the details. The prices are fair I would say but I'm coming from California so it's not much of a difference. It's clean, the tools are sanitized. Terrible! This review is for both me and my daughter. While my full set is tolerable, my daughter's is absolutely awful! My nails (gold glitter) are well shaped and acceptable thickness. What I don't like is that my thumb nails are significantly shorter than the rest and my pinky nails are significantly longer than rest. SEE PICS. My daughter full set (blue) lasted 20 minutes! Obviously did not care about quality. The nails are too thick and more square shaped than coffin shaped that my daughter requested. They did one coat of gel on right hand and two coats on left hand. I went on a Friday afternoon and there was only one person working. I decided to get a pedicure and looking at the selection of nail colors it was a small selection. The selection also looked older and you can see separation and cracks in the nail color as if they had been sitting unused for months. They charge $30 for just a typical pedicure which I feel is higher than in Chandler and Gilbert. The pedicure chairs also looked run down. This place isn't that old but needs a face lift. Definitely will not return. The overall look of the pedicure was nice but didn't leave feeling refreshed like I usually do just happy it was over. read more

I am very disappointed. The manicurist, Jennifer, was a nice lady, but her skills need lots of improvements. For one, she had sharp and hard pointed nails that poked me several times during my manicure today. She also uses way too much strength and the wrong grade of files to file my nails that they are still hurting right now. This is not the end, she also painted my nails like an amateur, leaving a visible gap between my cuticle line and the polish. Please see photos attached. Needless to say, I will not return. He asked me what I wanted and I showed him pictures of hombre nails, clearly on the box in front of him with the powder is there for hombre and pink nails but he decided on light pink. The light pink look like it belongs to white tips. So therefore my nails look like white tips instead of hombre nails. I went one day and no one was waiting and the later said 10 minutes, I said great, went to the restroom, came out and a lady with daughter was waiting. I'm giving a 4 since the lady that did my nails did a pretty good job while the person that did my pedi poked me a couple times. It will never compare to Devine Nails in Phoenix because John always does an absolutely great job... It's a little pricier here for gel nails. However this is the only place I come to when I'm in Maricopa. The ladies are always so friendly and they get us in even if they're super busy. They coordinate things well here, which is a good thing if you're pressed for time. Large variety of gel colors to choose from. They have matching non gel colors if you want to do gel mani and regular pedicure without gel. This was an issue before because it was so hard to find a matching color if you didn't want to pay extra for non gel colors for the toes. Over all not too many complaints. read more

I don't know her name but a lady did my mani first, got gel polish all over my skin and was very rushed which is weird because no one was waiting, so why rush? Was so dissatisfied with it I told her never mind on the pedicures. Very sloppy, they cut corners, and don't seem to care when I told them I was dissatisfied. Their selection of colors is not good and they were out of most of the colors. Finding a good nail salon in Maricopa is proving to be unnecessarily difficult. I had read the reviews before and even though they were not great I decided to go in and give them a try. The service was fine. It was a couple days later that I had issues with. I reached for my suitcase in the back of my car to catch a flight and boop.. my nail goes flying off. I was very upset that were not durable. I bought a back of press on nails once i got to my destination. Boy am I glad I did I had another nail pop off 2 within 2 weeks of putting a new set of acrylics on. I had my nails done for the 2nd time today at this Nail spa. The first time I thought the nail lady was just crabby, well no, it's just if you do not get GEL nails you get the rude treatment. BOTH times I have been here I have been treated with rudeness after explaining I just want regular polish. After explaining I do not want gel I received a short lecture on why gel is better. I'm used to that, I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years and this was by far my worst experience. First of all it took 25 minutes to do my nails from start to finish. She was so fast she was making me feel uncomfortable. After she finished filing the nails she said " you pay cash now" I asked if it was ok to pay with card and I will give cash for a tip. She said no you must pay cash. And there was no explanation why I had to pay cash. Luckily I had cash on me. This place needs a good cleaning as well. It was soooooo dirty. Cob webs in corners, especially over by the nail dryer station. It was gross. The one thing I liked about this place is they abide by the mask policy and they take your temp before they serve you. I thank them for that. HOWEVER, just because people do not find that paying an extra $13 for gel polish to be worth it, does not give you the right to be rude. read more

I went here yesterday with my daughter, for a fill /pedicure and gel manicure. The man was rude, not only did we wait for 30 minutes before being serviced, but the water was cold, the pedicure tech was mediocre at best. My daughters finger was cut! I broke a nail while I was on vacation and this place was close by. I've been getting acrylics for about 14 years and have never had such a bad experience. My cousin and I both got our nails done by the same person. She told him she wanted a design and he ignored her, he was very rough with her and very rude. The worst experience I've ever had! Gave them 4 chances to get it right and still horrible. The only reason I came back this many times is because I figured a different tech would do a better job. The last time I visited one of the ladies argued that I've only done my nails here once and that she's never seen me here after that. The guy who did my nails last (who was helping out from another salon) kept saying that the other nail techs don't care and that he takes his time doing nails the right way....what??!!!!! Although my nails are coming apart within 2 days!!!! Full set paid $75 (way over priced for the poor quality)! horrible service! If I was able to give negative stars I would. I've spent over $400 in this salon thus far and am taking my business elsewhere. FYI, because the techs were talking to one another, my finger was cut due to their lack of attention.
