Don't be fooled by the name. It was anything bit. Poor service. Three of us had 1 pm appts. It is now 1:20pm, and I am still here. 2 of 3 chairs we were placed in didn't work, and we had to move my 78 yr old mother. Water wasn't turned on to soak in while waiting. I had to ask for it to be turned on. And she only turned one on. I had to ask a diff person to turn mine on. I DO NOT recommend this place, and I will never come back. Don't go. If there were a negative, I would give it that. read more

To say we were rushed through our mani/pedi treatment is an understatement. I called ahead to get an appt because I wanted my daughter and I to get our services at the same time. Walked in to an empty salon. They did my daughter's gel mani while she was getting her pedi, balancing the UV light on the arm of the chair. Needless to say, the manicure looked terrible. I stopped in to ask for pricing and availability and the man working near the front was very unfriendly. It wasn't very busy in the salon and only a few workers were inside with one or two clients. When asking for a price list the man ignored me and I ended up finding it myself for the pedicures but couldn't find a pricing guide for nails. My first time here. I was greeted immediately and told to choose a color. I didn't have to wait I was directed to go sit in a chair. Wendy greeted me at the chair and was the technician who did my pedicure. She did a very thorough job of trimming my cuticles and nails. She gave a nice foot & leg massage. I also needed some waxing services and those were performed by Tammy. Tammy was friendly and gave some great tips on how to lessen the sting. The wax smelt like a nice cappuccino. Walked in, there were two people getting their nails done and no one waiting. asked to see a menu, they don't have one. They had me sign in but once I told them I was only getting two nails fixed they said they don't have time and they are too busy. But when she thought I was getting a fill, she had time. Terrible service. My friend went in here for her ManiPedi. We were going to both get the work done but I changed my mind when I saw how gross the tools were at the spa chairs. So I opted for just the Mani. So, the main reason for my 1 star review is due to the lack of respect for customers. They only speak in their language and at times perform borderline racist acts. I asked for an acrylic nail removal with a clear polish manicure and a gel pedicure. I was charged $95, crazy. During my manicure, I was cut and started bleeding, I did not receive lotion or a massage, he basically removed the old tips, cut my cuticles and my skin and filed my nails. During my pedi I had to ask if she was going to scrub the bottom of my feet she told me that would be extra. I asked I thought that was included in the pedicure she said she forgot. Then did it. After I received my total, I proceeded to ask for my lotion and massage from my mani since I was being charged. They told me he didn't do it because he was in a rush. Side note. I should have left when a lady walked in with me upset her gel nails had chipped within a couple of days from getting them done. I will not be returning. read more

I booked an appointment with Above and Beyond Nails and when I arrived at the shop on time I still waited 30+ minutes. Two other women also came into the shop after me (just walk-ins) and the employees took them right in and sat them down for pedicures. I have been in high end salons in California, and no service and quality work comes close. I am appalled at disrespectful guests that I have witnessed ( I am a cosmetologist by trade), that exhibit rude behaviors, with a sense of entitlement, that give poor ratings just because they want to receive a free service when they complain. I came here to get a manicure and a pedicure, my mother came to get a fill. It was quite busy but they still told us it would only be a few minutes. It took us about 30 minutes of sitting until my mom received a chair. After it took another 15 minutes before anyone had even looked at her nails. Her nails were just fill, despite this the woman didn't polish the whole nail, leaving the sides near the cuticle unpainted. The same woman did my nails... she cut my cuticle while applying my full set. She also used nails that were too wide for my bed. She applied the acrylic so thick an uneven that when I went to get my nails done in my usual salon the woman had asked me if I had tried doing my nails myself... To make matters worse she applied polish to my cuticles and failed to clean them off and tiny bubble began to surface on my nail polish as it dried. When I didn't tip her as much as she'd like she very rudely reminded me that she had done both my nails and my mother's nails. Oh did I mention that she also stopped halfway through my nails to argue with a customer who was double charged by her? Yeah, the service was AWFUL. I don't recommend that anyone come here. Nails 4 You is a much better place to go if you have to get them done in Maricopa, otherwise try Ahwatukee. read more

Let me start out with saying the lady was sweet but my experience was not professional! I called ahead of time and told them what I wanted which was long, coffin shape, hombre with dollar powder and clear gel top coat. I was quoted a price. I show up and then I am told they can't do hombre with solar powder. So I settle for acrylic powder which is cheaper. I showed up for my 2:30 appt had to wait and they didn't even finish til 5pm. I had to keep telling the lady how she wasn't doing what I asked. Then she kept hurting me and filing my flesh and her response was that "u wanted skinny nails" I said yes I do but I don't want you filing my skin!! She didn't even say sorry she just kept doing my nails. She got upset that i kept telling her how I wanted it she said to stop telling her because was confusing her and gonna make her mess up. I told her NO I'm telling you because I'm paying for them I want them done right! She had to go back and fix somethings like adding more pink because it was clear where one color stopped and the other started rather than hombre. She also had to be asked to add more acrylic because she filed the side so much it went down into my real nail OUCH still hurts in multiple places. Even after all the guidance I had to give she still did an awful job! I will never go back! Just look at the pics. She even filled my nails after putting on the top coat and she only put on one layer which it should have been two. It was all around an experience hard to enjoy and getting my nails done is "me time" and time to Relax and pamper myself. Bad first impression to say the least. Once I got to my car to farther examine my nails I see my fingers flaking. At first I thought it was my skin but I'm not sure what it actually was. My mom is in town visiting stopped in this business for a mani-pedi and I was left sitting in water for over an hour while they catered to their white patrons who happened to walk in after I'd already been seated. OK so first of all I am new in Maricopa, I used to live in Mesa & I have a nail salon I go to out there. Reason why I went to this place is because it was closer to home & wanted to give it a try & I truly regret it. I was not happy with my nails I did tell them & show them the picture of the nail I wanted. The reason why I am giving one star wish I can give them just zero I took my daughter as well to get her nails painted and she also got a pedicure. let me tell you she's 10 When they were about to do her nails the lady looked at her nails & started laughing & was talking in their language & looking at her nails & made my daughter feel awful. my daughter already says that she does not like her finger nails & think they are ugly, & they made her self-esteem go down. when we walked out My daughter Said sadly "they were making fun of my nails". that really made me upset to hear that coming from my daughter. That was really rude and unprofessional she is just 10 and to make my 10 year old feel like that. Even though we did not understand them they were clearly they were making fun of her nails. This salon put an expiration date on a gift certificate that my son bought as a gift for me. They did not make him aware of this and sadly my son did not pay attention. I went in to speak with the staff. They were rude and extremely unhelpful. They even had the audacity to suggest i regift it to somebody else. Then i tried to schedule a date and time which not one single person bothered to help me. I will of course use the certificate but will never be a repeat customer and will certainly not be paying the staff any tips. What a true waste of money!! read more

Worst "manicure" ever. I asked for a manicure with dip powder. The man did not soak my hands trim my cuticles or massage. Nothing. I asked him repeatedly to do the manicure before he applied powder. He refused then offered to trim cuticles AFTER they were covered in powder. The red residue is the regular nail polish I was wearing. I asked him multiple times to please remove the lingering color and he grunted so now I have red all over my fingers. Red polish caked around cuticles of sparkly powder and under my nails. I guess I will stick with shops in Chandler, this was not my first dip powder mani. read more

I just left this place and I'm an extremely loyal customer. First I had an appt at 4p and a walk in with her 2 daughters comes in after me gets seating before me and worked on before me. I get this new lady she is white I don't know her name but she was so inexperienced, she didn't cut my nails after I asked her to and she only filed them in which she didn't shape them or make them even. Then she didn't put the wax on my feet correctly causing the wax to solidify before it was on my feet and WORST OF ALL she spent %80 of the time watching TV instead of tending to me the paying customer. She is very rough and doesn't pay attention to detail, I spent $50 on my service and was dissatisfied. I have been a customer for 5yrs, after this experience I WILL NEVER BE BACK read more

First timer at this nail salon. I have my favorite salons but I like to try out different different ones to see what they offer. I loved that instead of having a TV with a movie on, or music from 104.7 playing, they had the most relaxing music playing. It really made me feel like I was in some upscale spa. At some nail salons they will give me a pedicure and do my nails at the same time. I hate that, it makes me feel rushed and I can't enjoy my pedicure as much. They took time on both and did them separate. The prices are fair, and when it comes to nails you really do get what you pay for... My favorite part though, is that they have so many packages to choose from and one of them even has the French nail included which Is what I always get on my toes.
