Dear Serenity Nails & Spa I am writing to formally report a profoundly disturbing incident that occurred during my recent visit to your establishment. The conduct of several staff members was entirely inappropriate and caused me significant distress. Shortly after I was seated, I was subjected to repeated and unwelcome attention from multiple staff members. Their behavior included deliberately leaning in and making inappropriate eye contact directed upwards, as well as bending down in an intrusive manner, appearing to attempt to smell me my attire I am wearing a dress. Despite my clear verbal requests for them to cease their actions, explicitly stating that their behavior was making me extremely uncomfortable, they provided no verbal response. Instead, they continued to approach and observe me, often laughing, which further exacerbated my discomfort and created an intensely unsettling environment. Their disregard for my repeated pleas and their persistent inappropriate actions were incomprehensible and deeply unprofessional. I have documented this entire interaction, including the staff's conduct and my attempts to address the situation, via video recording. This type of behavior is unacceptable, and I am profoundly disappointed by the complete lack of professionalism and basic respect demonstrated by your employees. I expect this serious matter to be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate measures taken to ensure such an incident does not reoccur. Please inform me of the steps your management team will be taking to address this critical issue. PS they also tired to over charge me in price but I had to show them that gel was 15 not 20. read more

My experience has varied from visit to visit. At times the technicians are warm and inviting, but there have also been many instances where I did not feel valued as a customer. Frequently, I have not been able to receive all of the services I came in for -- particularly when visiting with friends. On several occasions, I was asked to wait until others in my group were finished before my services even began. I have left without receiving any services, or with services only partially completed, at least five times. After many years of this inconsistency, I've decided to move on to another salon for a fresh start. I strongly encourage others to consider going elsewhere. Pricing at this salon is inconsistent and appears to vary depending on who provides the service -- even when requesting the exact same set each visit. There is no transparency, and the total is often different every time. I have been a loyal customer for years and repeatedly overlooked the fluctuating prices out of convenience and loyalty. However, my most recent experience was unacceptable. I was charged $100 for an additional nail service I did not request but was told I needed after it was already applied. When I raised the concern, management -- despite knowing I have been a long-standing customer -- showed no willingness to address or resolve the issue. Loyalty should matter. Clear pricing should be standard. Unfortunately, neither was demonstrated. I go here to get my toes with gel polish changed, I'm too ticklish for a pedicure. This studio is so clean, I also go to get waxed and the waxing room is top-notch Clean compared to other ones I've been to. My favorite artist is Rose, I talked to her ear off the past few times I saw her during my wax, but we laughed together. She didn't rush me and was very nice and gave me advice when I asked her questions. I love this place. I'll never go anywhere else. read more

As soon as your feet dry from all the lotion it's like you never even got them done. Got the callius remover and some how no callius was removed? Do NOT recommend. This is my second and final visit. I try to give everybody the benefit of the doubt, everyone has a off day. The technician who performed my pedicure was the same one; I was given last time. The older gentleman did a complete hack job. The gentleman literally had me done in 40 minutes. I felt I was on an assembly line. He timed everything he did. I'm surprised he didn't stick me with a thermometer, to make sure I was done. The salon doesn't have very good lighting, so I couldn't see, how bad it truly was. The salon was pretty chilly they had their front door open. I get it with the new wave of viruses circulating, but my hands & feet were freezing. Once I got outside I noticed how badly my cuticles were cut up. Only half of my toenails were fully polish and not very well at that. read more

I don't reviews often because I feel like I'm not the best person to give reviews. I always do super simple nails. I found this shop in 2023, when I was looking for a shop to do my nails for my wedding. My normal shop made me wait for an hour, even though I had an appointment so I knew it was time to change. I normally just do a pedicure and keep it moving but a friend of my was getting married and my sister, niece, and I needed nails and toes done. My sister and niece asked for acrylic overlays and asked the technician to extend the nail a bit. The technicians said they can't do that service, which is crazy since every shop since the 80s can do overlays...I asked for a chrome leaf design on my nails and was flat out told no because it's too much work. I will never go again. They are lazy and rush the work. In this economy these services are a luxury. I will take my hard earned money elsewhere read more

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here. I among others have been very weary about getting my nails done in Maricopa, AZ, as our options are pretty limited. I took a chance and I am so happy I did. I got an extremely relaxing exfoliating pedicure and- it was moderately priced! Called in looking for a new salon but needed to give my nails a short break of having acrylics. asked for the charge to remove the acrylics before I went back and got a new full set - denied service for removing nails because I've never gotten service there before. spoke with Rose and she stated they wouldn't know how much "product" I would need so unless I'm getting a new set at time of service then she couldn't help me and they don't service those type of requests??? It's more about the experience for me, and I know a salon is no place for a child but my daughter wanted to go "relax" with mom. We get there and they wanted us to be separated and I asked that I not be far away from my THREE year old, and one lady still decided to move my daughter by picking her up without asking and I raised my voice and told her "no you don't pick up someone without asking" and from there we were just shunned. When the lady did my nails I showed her inspo pic and she pushed my phone away, once she was done with the application she started in with color and I asked if we could shape them like the picture and she said no it's to late and I just got quiet and then with my daughter she'd try here and there to ask her a question "what's your favorite color" "what's her name" and the lady just wouldn't answer. I came to this salon on Sunday for a Classic Pedi. My appointment was at 10:15 and the salon was packed. Every pedi chair was being used. Finally they seated me. The water lukewarm and I sat and waited for 15 minutes in this water. Henry was my tech. Big mistake!! He cut my toenails with a cuticle scissors and they're all crooked. I've never had this done to me before. The only good thing was message and he did do a good job. Then he painted my toes. He was so much in a hurry to get done that you would think my preschoolers painted them. They would've done a much better job!!!! I will no longer use this salon again. You need to turn on your air conditioner for your patrons! read more

THIS SALON SUCKS! Read the reviews. The positive ones are few and far between. I've given this shop 3 chances. First off, the staff is RUDE. Especially the male nail tech. I haven't had him personally be rude to me, but he should never greet a customer. Secondly, they suck at doing their job. I hate my nails every time I leave there. I've been getting my nails done for years and only went here because I'm new to the area. 1st experience: I made an appointment. I was ignored when I walked in the door and told to wait... I MADE AN APPOINTMENT. The don't care about your time. I waited 20 minutes. I was about to walk out when I was told where to sit. My toe nail polish shipped that day. My finger nails were not what I wanted and were super thick. The charge for SNS dip but don't do it correctly. 2nd experience: it was a little better, I arrived and it wasn't busy. Staff seemed a little friendlier. My nails again were super thick. 3rd experience: heard the male be super rude to several customers that walked in, most of them walked right back out. Someone asked how long the wait would be he replied (very rudely, almost sarcastically), "I don't know." The customer obviously left. My dip polish was WAY too thin this time. Two of the nails already had the powder crack. She doesn't know how to shape toes. She reused her gloves from a prior customer I'm assuming. I paid for their top pedicure, the massage wasn't an extra 10 minutes like advertised. It was a total of 10 minutes. Also expect to burn your feet in the tub because they WONT adjust the water and if you need dip soaked off expect to have your hands sit in acetone for 30+ minutes. If they used the proper dip technique it would soak off correctly. Also my hands feel so rough and dry now. They weren't that way when I walked in. read more

I have been to this location twice now and walked away disappointed both times. My nails are uneven, and have a lot of product build up around my nail bed. I tried to clean up as much as possible but they still look terrible. The reason for this is they use base coat polish instead of the SNS Base, SNS Bond and SNS Sealer like they are supposed to when applying dip nails. This nail salon is cheap and cutting corners that effect the quality of the nails but still are changing people the full price for SNS products. I will post a picture of my nails after spending over 20 minutes trying to clean them up. read more

I will never go back to this salon. I went in for a pedicure 7/17. Had a man who did a really bad job. I got home to find that my feet were still covered in callous' and dry skin. Went back 2 days later and was told they too busy, but to come back the next day and they would take care of it. Went back and was told that they would not fix the problem. They do really sloppy work. and i came in for a fill and a color change and they were criticizing how my nails were done but when i told them that i got my nails done here they lied and said they didn't do my nails. And i told them they the lady with the bangs and glasses is the one that did my nails last time. so that means they were criticizing their own work. We walked in wanting two pedicures. There was almost no wait. They sat us next to one another without us even having to ask which was nice. I got the #4 which is the callus remover. Hubby got #3 which is the lavender scrub. First pedicure in 18 months. This guy had his work cute out for him. They have a decent color selection. He did remove some calluses, but still have some left. They have a timed leg/foot massage which was decent. They start with an orange slice which I've never seen, but didn't mind. Lotion is nice, smelled good. I personally would have liked more foot massage vs the calf/leg, but I'm not going to complain. Legs and feet feel wonderful. He did a good job on painting. The place is pretty but they over charge for simple work. It is insane. My daughter got regular French but a little long and they charged $90!!!! We usually go to a lady who works from home but when she is booked we go somewhere else and she also lives in Phoenix. However, she is that good we drive 45min to her. Listen, Asian businesses are going to start losing business to these girls who do beautiful art, are kind and treat you with respect and don't bash you in other languages.
