When we rented we didn't deal with him, but rather with a nice woman who was helpful, kind and efficient. I am the one that has to come to our unit from time to time to get our seasonal stuff, or to put something in. It's rare that I come but whenever I do I see this middle aged man glaring at me like I have done something wrong. Till now it's just struck me as "off". Today there was an issue getting in, apparently our card had expired and they had our old address. Mike treated me like I had committed some crime, I offered to just give him the card (and hopefully be on my way). No. Mike is one of those guys that has to do everything just in his time and just in his way...and I get sometimes that's just policy. The thing of it is, Mike isn't about being even a little bit friendly or agreeable, quite the contrary. You spend a lot when renting a unit but there are TONS of places. I used to be in the moving industry. Like anything, there is competition and politeness counts. No reason to deal with the Stalin of Storage if you don't have to.

Management is garbage - they have no concept of customer service and then don't actually honor the promises they make when they supposedly make amends for having screwed you in the first place. The costs for units w/in this facility are also obnoxiously high, and they will raise rates on you after a few months b/c they know how much of a headache it is to go and move all of your stuff from one unit to another - it's effectively polite extortion. Strongly recommend you avoid at all costs and find another facility that is NOT a Public Storage location.

Prior to moving from FL to MA, we watched all the POD videos, etc. 5 of us loaded, strapped,…read morestuffed crevices with towels, etc. and secured my things in the POD and LOCKED IT with a POD LOCK that I purchased FROM PODS. By March, I was in MA and finally found a place to live in May and scheduled the POD for delivery...it was a day late, they moved it to another storage facility so I could not see it..they delivered it with a POD-installed COMBINATION LOCK and did not tell the driver or ME - we had to get it cut off and then found SEVERAL THINGS MISSING but PODS did not accept responsibility for anything, and would only take $100 off the final bill (moving and storage) and the driver was a subcontractor who could not even cut the lock off. They have no customer service and when you make valid statements that they don't like, they send you a sanctimonious email and want you to tell the "social media" contact (not a manager with a name) your ID and info so they can totally ignore you. They NEVER called or apologized or did anything that would make me want to ever use them again and I won't. I should have gone with UHAUL...DON'T WASTE YOUR $$$$ ON PODS - THEY ARE NOT A BUSINESS, THEY ARE A RACKET.
