When we rented we didn't deal with him, but rather with a nice woman who was helpful, kind and efficient. I am the one that has to come to our unit from time to time to get our seasonal stuff, or to put something in. It's rare that I come but whenever I do I see this middle aged man glaring at me like I have done something wrong. Till now it's just struck me as "off". Today there was an issue getting in, apparently our card had expired and they had our old address. Mike treated me like I had committed some crime, I offered to just give him the card (and hopefully be on my way). No. Mike is one of those guys that has to do everything just in his time and just in his way...and I get sometimes that's just policy. The thing of it is, Mike isn't about being even a little bit friendly or agreeable, quite the contrary. You spend a lot when renting a unit but there are TONS of places. I used to be in the moving industry. Like anything, there is competition and politeness counts. No reason to deal with the Stalin of Storage if you don't have to.

Management is garbage - they have no concept of customer service and then don't actually honor the promises they make when they supposedly make amends for having screwed you in the first place. The costs for units w/in this facility are also obnoxiously high, and they will raise rates on you after a few months b/c they know how much of a headache it is to go and move all of your stuff from one unit to another - it's effectively polite extortion. Strongly recommend you avoid at all costs and find another facility that is NOT a Public Storage location.

There were a few times I found screws and bolts inside where you are supposed to be able to pull your car in. Over priced compared to other places I looked and when I went to move out on the 2nd of the month, they told me I had to pay for the full month. There is never anybody there to talk to in the office about problems or moving out. When I was moving in, another person moving out warned me how bad it was there and I should have listened. Would have saved me lots of time, money and the hassle.

They failed to drop it off on the day it was supposed to, and never called saying they were unable to drop it off. Then failed again the next and then the next. Finally it got delivered on the next day. I would be embarrassed to own or work at this company. They know nothing about customer service. I now see that my neighbors are moving and have a POD in their driveway. I hope they don't go through what we went through.
