From the moment we reached out--less than 24 hours before the move!--Joshua (the owner) was super responsive, detailed, and professional via text, even while juggling another job. His communication made it an easy "yes" for us. Joshua and his awesome helper, Alex, showed up early on a Sunday morning, bright and ready to go. Joshua brought all the paperwork and immediately did a walk-through to understand exactly what we needed. That attention to detail set the tone for getting started. Together with our small crew, Joshua and Alex helped unload a 26-ft U-Haul packed to the roof--and they made it look effortless. They worked hard, stayed upbeat, and kept everything organized and safe. Then he put my clients tv in her truck with no kind of protection & she said if he could place something or wrap it but unfortunately he decided to disrespect her! Then the owner came to rectify the shitty job Kevin was doing as my client was beyond worried for the rest of the items and he decided to change the rate and not wanting to unload until paid. Once paid at unload he decided to not provide my client his INSURANCE as he stated that HE WAS INSURED! Now he insists that I have to pay for the repair also but as stated above HIS MOVER (KEVIN) was the one who unprofessionally broke the armoire placing on a 4 wheeler with not even wrapping it. So disappointed that I even referred these guys to her as I have worked with my client before with previous move and she had nothing but good things to say. Will NEVER REFER TO ANY OF MY CLIENTS EVER AGAIN! That's not how you conduct business if your business is at fault take the loss and provide your insurance especially if you are moving heavy duty expensive piece of furniture! Then, the contract they had me sign gave them a whole 30 business days to make the delivery - so either I had to begin all over with a different mover, on the day of my move, or accept that deception. I'm sure they know they're putting prospective customers in this horrible spot, because profit. Now, over three weeks since I moved, they're telling me in another week they'll let me know when I'll get my stuff. So yeah, they told me three weeks, it will actually be more like seven. Absolutely TERRIBLE experience, avoid these scammers at all costs.

For a 2.5 hour local move I paid $400. Better than most local places and national chains I was quoted... 3. They don't charge extra for blankets or equipment used. They wrapped things up well and took care of my stuff. 4. Friendly staff. 5. Worked with me to secure time! Elite tips/things to consider: 1. They bill based on time. So if the team gets stuck in traffic, you'll be paying for that time. Consider your times when you book. Ex) when it is high traffic... 8am vs 10 am 2. 2 hour minimum for all jobs. 3. While there's friendly staff, one of the team members dispatched for my job was significantly faster and better at triaging/organizing. If both were like that I think my job would have been done in 2 hours and I could have saved some money. If I had to do it all over I would consider Sagebrush Movers.
