I've been going to this nail salon for years and I am second generation customer. My mother, sister and I love the service and appreciate the ladies' hard work and creativity. Going to Istyle Nail & Spa is always a treat. They are quick, reasonably priced and their quality of work is fantastic. The salon is a little small so I suggest calling before walking in. They do accept walk-ins, however, I would call to make an appointment prior to make sure you can be seen. I've been recommending this place to others whenever I get compliments on my nails. So definitely give this place a try!

Tina and another lady did my coworkers and I's nails when they weren't necessarily open (7/5). These are my first acrylic set in years nonetheless my birthday nails so I was a little nervous but I am SO happy with the final result. Tina did my coffin shape very well and the other woman painted them, the cherries are so cute and the color is perfect. Worth a 20 minute drive and the price is such a steal! The current owner, Tina, is very nice and professional. Anna is my regular go-to nail lady, and she never disappointed me. I am not sure why they got 4 $$$$ sign? Their price is pretty reasonable and it should be 2 $$.

LOVE Tina! She did a gel manicure for me and it was amazing. She does an awesome job cleaning up your cuticles, and her polishing skills are perfect! I hate when gel is thick and she makes it very thin and even throughout all your nails. This salon offers a TON of services. They do nails, eyebrow waxing and threading, facials, and permanent makeup. They also offer you to throw a party of 10 or more people. For a fee person you get certain services, can bring in food & drinks, and get a complimentary bottle of wine. The salon it self is very clean and organized. A huge plus is their wide range of gel and normal polish colors! istyle salon is up-to-date on the latest trends, they offer chrome nails and mood changing nail polish! I would definitely recommend!

I came here because they could accomadate my bridal party at one time. They were friendly & nice but what was a little annoying was that when they called to confirm my appt they left a super long voicemail explaining that if i dont come they are losing business because i am taking up a lot of spots. Ok...i understand that, but a Normal confirmation call would do. Then when we were ready to pay they refused to accept the yelp deal they have... Which is still posted as $3 FOR mani/pedi (which i assumed was a typo & they meant $3 off.) Nope. They claimed yelp added that on their page without them knowing.... Later that day, i have another loong voicemail explaining that they didnt post anything on yelp so its not their fault they couldn't honor it. They also said its been removed. I got my nails done here on 2/22/18 and did the powder dip, after she was done with the powder she wanted to do gel top coat, there shouldn't be gel on top of powder, that's the whole point of powder. She didn't end up doing the gel after i had to tell her no several times. I didn't see how bad my nails looked until after i left and went home to wash my hands, they look like a kid did them. Some parts of nail are not shiny, color around my nails on finger. I came back today to ask for refund since they look so bad, first she said she has to call her boss then she said she'll need to take my color off before she refunds, i didn't have time to sit there while they remove the powder. I would never recommend coming here for dip powder, they clearly don't know what they are doing.

I enjoy having my nails done here. The ladies are sweet and they have a variety of colors to chose from for a gel manicure.

I just moved into the area and have tried other places but have not been impressed.... But I found my new salon! Kevin did my fill/gel mani and Van did my pedi. Both came out awesome! They are both perfectionists so needless to say my nails look perfect! Everybody here is nice and professional. I was impressed that Kevin didn't skip any layers of gel like some places do. I'll definitely be coming back.

I recently moved to the area and I needed a new nail salon. I called around for pricing and this salon happened to be the cheapest and closest to my house. I wanted to get a pink and white full set. Needless to say, I found my new nail salon! The lady who did my nails did a great job and they are all very friendly! I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. read more

Really beautifully decorated and accommodating place. They stayed over an hour after scheduled closing to accommodate to my last minute requests. Staff very friendly, nice and welcoming. I went to another local nail place for 7 years, and although I never had bad service, one day they were just too busy to take me and I was forced to try a new place. I ended up at Istyle and have not left . I did not realize how bad my nails really were until Kevin did them, WOW, the difference was EXTREME and my pedicures are awesome. I pay the same price and everytime I open the door everyone knows my name since my 2nd time back. I must say the details to customer service are amazing , the quality of work by everyone is awesome!!! Try it, you will LOVE! LOVE! LOVE it!!! read more

Excellent service. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. My pedicure is beautiful. I will definitely be returning. The shop was very clean. They used liners in the wash basin for my feet, which I felt was a great idea. The young lady who gave me my pedicure took her time and did a very thorough job. At the same time she was gentle. I opted for a flower pattern on my large toenails (which is extra) and she made a lovely pattern. I have received compliments from my friends. IStyle is my new go to shop for pedicures! They have many services, so check them out. read more

This is the 3rd time I've gone to Istyle for my hair. Love the color and cut. Kevin uses only the best products.I am so glad that he listens to what I want and then does exactly that.I also go there every 2 weeks for gel nails and a pedicure. Lots of choices of pedicures and many, many choices of colors.Just like I posted from my first visit I'm so glad I found this place. I originally went to Jenny N for permanent eyebrows based on her Yelp reviews and I have never been disappointed! It's been over two years now that Jenny did my eyebrows; then at her suggestion, I had bumps lasered off of my face; upper and lower eyeliner done; a dark spot, below my left eye, lasered off; and a bothersome mole lasered off from the inside of my elbow. The next on my to-do list is to work with Jenny to minimize the acne scars around my mouth with a microdermabrasion with chemical peel facial. Although she does apply a numbing cream there has been some pain with all of these treatments but absolutely well worth it! She is so sweet, explains everything, shows you the sealed instruments and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Her prices are very reasonable and more than fair when you're having multiple procedures done. She is very passionate about you leaving feeling that you received the best service from her and welcomes you back if you have the slightest concern or question. The salon itself is very unassuming in the strip mall location it's in but very clean inside with Jenny's room in the back right corner. Jenny is a perfect example of a classy lady in style, mannerism, poise, dress hair and makeup. Don't tell her I told you this but, she would fit in perfectly at any Beverly Hills salon! Jenny, you have a customer for life! read more

Great service! My mother and I went the other day. She had a manicure and pedicure, I had an acrylic fill with gel and a pedicure. They treated us both like queens! this is a full service salon for me!!! I had permanent make up done, the best I've ever had, hair dyed, weaved and cut all to my perfect satisfaction, and I have Gel full nails and pecicures done 2x a month. They do an absolutely excellent job. There are many choices of pedicures, all price ranges, my favorite thing about this shop is not only is it a full service shop but it is emmaculately clean!!! The entire staff, including the owners, are wonderful and make you feel so welcome and comfortable in their establishment. So glad i found this shop!! read more

I have been coming to Jenny for almost 4 years now, she is absolutely amazing. She is such a sweetheart and is so knowledgeable and has so many certifications for so many different skin treatments I love it! Kevin does my nails and he does a great job (and I am very picky) the other girls are so nice and always make it a point to engage in a conversation with you which is great. the girls who work here are very rude. but they are very nice to only a few customers. i believe that they only treat their 'regulars' nicely. their most baddest part is that they get alot of polish on my skin and dont even clean it. its very small here. if you come at night it pretty creepy because thered barely any lights out. i think ill b going somewhere else now. read more

One constant issue with this place and their other locations is that they frequently move their lash techs. To continue seeing Hannah, I had to go to Pasadena, SGV, Brea, and Monterey Park (she's still amazing). When Hannah was sent to the Whittier location, I tried a new tech who cut my bottom lashes without telling me, was rude, and did a poor job on my new set. I discovered the cut lashes only after getting home and checking in a larger mirror. I never returned to SGV after that horrifying experience. I then found Serena at the SGV location after Hannah left. While Serena did decent work, she overcharged me every time. Recently, I went back 6 days after a refill because chunks of my lashes had fallen off. Despite asking her to use more glue, the lashes kept falling off easily. She tried to charge me $53 for a fix when I had paid $65 just 6 days earlier. Hannah always charged me reasonably. After making another appointment with Serene, I received a text saying she no longer wanted to do my lashes. I was always polite, even when Serene was late. I complimented her work and was flexible with appointment changes. I'm upset because I've been a loyal customer for so long, referred many people, and never complained, yet I feel there's no customer loyalty in return.

Having just moved back to the area, and having spent the last (too) many months growing out a…read morehideous haircut I received - I was desperately looking for a new place to get my hair done. As I was driving down YL Blvd a few mornings ago,the Blush sign caught my eye. I did a quick Yelp search, saw all the stars and called the shop. I asked if they were taking new clients, and the lady who answered the phone said Yes, and that I could get in right then if I wanted. I was so happy and a wonderful lady named Terry gave me the best haircut I have had in forever! After a brief consultation, She knew exactly how to cut and style my hair and I walked out feeling like a New Woman ! Terry is a literal answer to prayer. Next week I am going to get my nails done there at her recommendation and I am super excited about that!

I did end up having to wait a bit unexpectedly, but Emily and the young man at the front (I believe his name was Leo) were both very kind and welcoming. Emily ended up doing my nails, and she actually stayed past closing to finish them. I'm so grateful she did because this is honestly one of my favorite gel manicures I've ever gotten. I brought in a photo for inspiration and Emily recreated it beautifully -- I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. I also want to mention that the reason I had to wait longer was because Emily was finishing up another client before me that ended up taking about two hours total. While I was there, I unfortunately witnessed that client leave in a way that seemed like Emily was still trying to collect payment for the work she had just done. I could see the disappointment on her face, and it really stuck with me. As someone who works in healthcare, I know how it feels when people overlook the effort and care that goes into the work we do. I just wanted to send some good karma her way for the hard work she clearly puts into her craft. Despite that situation, Emily stayed completely professional, finished my nails beautifully, and went above and beyond by staying late. That kind of dedication deserves recognition. I've been here few times & from now on I will only be requesting for Leo or Emily when coming here…read more The same lady who messed up my manicure yesterday had also messed up my pedicure in the past & Leo had to remove and redo the whole thing, yesterday I got in my car, realized how bad and unsatisfied I was with my manicure, came back in & asked Emily if she could fix it because it was so messy. I couldn't believe someone could mess up such a basic manicure request, but I just couldnt leave, especially after how much I had already paid & because I never do manicures only pedicures, but I did this one time for my birthday trip. Emily was very sweet about fixing it & it was 100% much better!

Just had a fun afternoon at the hair salon today, cute sassy haircut by Kevin, my hair stylist.. just a fun and exceptional hair stylist. Really nice work, cut/ color/ styel! This salon iStyle in Placentia, is a fabulous place, and is very clean and beautiful salon, the best hair, skin and nail products available. There also, my esthetician, Jenny, is fantastic! Her gentle care, and exceptional experience great husband and wife team! . . a great family! And a surprise, as onboard there now at iStyle, they welcomed hair stylist Huy Nguyen, let your friends know -- Huy is back in town! at iStyle in Placentia! You have got to try haircuts by Kevin and Huy, and Jenny will give you the best facials in town!. Their Nail Technicians, do a great job, the pedicures and manicures very nicely done. Jenny N is the new owner of this salon & spa. It's sad that the other customer gave such a low review of this place but it's in a completely different aspect. I haven't tried getting my nails done here. I've only come to Jenny for skin care services like soft permanent makeup, facials and waxing. I can assure you that you'd be satisfied with her certified knowledge, experience and professional yet caring demeanor. I can't speak for the nails & hair people, but if Jenny is in charge then I truly can't imagine that she'd allow you to walk away unhappy like the other reviewer experienced. read more

Ever since Kevin and Jenny sold the business, it has gone downhill fast! I have had the worst customer service and gel manicures here than anywhere! There are nail places on every corner, their lack of service and skill will definitely make me go elsewhere. I also don't appreciate them speaking in Vietnamese the whole time they do your nails. Come on people it's all about the customer service in this day and age. read more

I began going to Istyle salon because of how close it was to my house but after going many times I could never get a mani pedi anywhere else. Regardless if I were to move I would still go this salon, never have I been more satisfied with a set of acrylics or wax. This place does it all read more
