Large spacious salon with plenty of seats and even though they were super booked and busy, they still fit our party of 4 quickly. Kristine did such a great job for my nails. She was attentive and kind, and worked with me every step of the way. Got a mani / pedi and I'm usually really sensitive with the pedicures but she didn't hurt me at all which is not something I'm used to experiencing . This was probably the fastest pedicure I've ever gotten, there was barely anytime spent prepping my nails...no buffing and almost zero time spent removing my cuticles. Yet, when I walked out, I had cuts on two of my toes and two of my nails, from being filed and clipped so aggressively. (Yes, I definitely felt the pain when they did it). Well, I designed I can give no stars at all. I'm not usually this harsh on giving reviews and sometimes I don't like to give bad reviews but this place is such a waste of my money and time. After I got my mani and pedi with them I had to go somewhere else to get them redone. First of all, they did my mani and pedi in less than 45mins. The nail tech I think she's the owner of the nail salon didn't even file my toenails. She didn't remove all the cuticles I can seriously do a better job then her. And then my manicure, I have to file it myself while I was still in there. I told my mani tech that the other tech didn't file and buff my toenails and she said that she's going to tell the other tech. But she already went to do someone else's so I just got up and told them I'm leaving and going somewhere else to get them redone. Don't waste your time and money at this place! I'm not trying to be mean but far the worse experience I've ever had!!!!! read more

I wanted a little me time and called to make an appointment for a gel pedicure. They were able to accommodate me so I went in. After getting seated in the chair the experience started off all wrong. At first the water was luke warm, then she cut me while trying to remove the previous gel polish with the drill. Then she proceeded to cut my nails and file them. My nails were cut all different lengths and as I watched her barely file them down I started getting upset. She then started with the cuticles and barely touched them but did cut me again. When I expressed my concern she brushed me off and said okay okay okay. I had had enough! I told her to stop touching me and that I was leaving. The manager came over and told me she could finish the job but by then I no longer had faith in their quality of work. When I went to leave the manager told me that I would need to pay $30.00 for the gel removal and the cutting of the nails and filing. I was completely shocked but paid nonetheless. I will never go back here and I urge you to rethink your decision before walking into this establishment read more

0 stars should be allowed. Decided to go here for my wedding nails and they turned orange within 1 hour of leaving the salon. They refused to fix it without me paying and extra 30$. I told the owner that I was so upset and that my friends would stop going there and he said "That's okay we make enough money." I have been coming here for years and always great service but on this day I had gel nails and request regular nails without gel. The lady tried to convince me to get gel. My nails needed a rest after my real nails grew long. Yet she kept pressing me to have gel nails but what I didn't realize is all of sudden she started to cut every nails on both sides till they were very thin. One lady walked by and said your nails are good now. The other lady followed me outside and said you need gel nails. Well before I even got home one nail broke off at cuticle bed, very painful. Within 2 days 6 of my original nails also broke off at the cuticle. In my opinion by them cutting each side of your nails weakens your nails bed and they break off. Some even bled and very painful. I am extremely bothered by this nail salon. I typically don't write reviews (good or bad) because I typically don't care that much but it has been a few days since my visit and I can't shake off the disappointment. I came here on wednesday 9/22/21 and everything was normal and fine until i got to choose my nail color... the woman who was helping me with my manicure was extremely rude and pushy. I have ADHD so making decisions is quite difficult for me so I like to take my time and look at every color - I guess she was getting impatient and started pushing colors on me a little too hard. I got discouraged and decided on something I didn't want. THEN the woman who did my pedicure was fine until she started cleaning my cuticle and completely cut off a big chunk of my skin! I screamed in pain and my foot was gushing blood for a VERY long time. once my foot settled a bit with the bleeding - I asked her to check for ingrowns! which she barely did because today my toes (that i typically get ingrowns in) were in a lot of pain and i realized that she never took them out!! so, I spent a good amount of time taking them out myself!! I was so disappointed with my mani/pedi that when I went home the same day, I looked at my nails and they were so bad and messed up that I was too upset to go back and waste more time there. PS. the same night I got my nails done with them, my toe started gushing blood all over again!! overall, I am EXTREMELY mad that I paid 77$ for a half-assed mani/pedi. I regret paying and tipping!! it's only been a few days and my gel is chipping, peeling and lifting!!! I am so distraught!!! This is my favorite place to get my acrylics done. Lynn does a fantastic job doing acrylics and always manages to make them look amazing! They are never too thick and NEVER crooked. I have always been happy with my nails after going here. Christine is also fabulous at both acrylics, dip, and gel manicures. She is a total sweetheart and is fantastic at her job. The prices are totally reasonable and the salon is always super clean. They do a great job at eyebrow waxing as well! I have always found that most salons leave my eyebrows too thick, but they always listen to exactly what you want and do a fantastic job. read more

I am really upset about my fingers 2, my thumb and my pointer finger, having skin filed so hard it cut it open and they bleed. I have to work with my hands and wash hair, etc...so deep cuts on my fingers are just super painful, they are painful no matter what actually. When it happened, the nail tech didn't even seem to care nor even apologize, at least. She just said, you're bleeding. And kept going. I felt like if I said something, they'd think I'm trying to be cheap or something, I don't know but I got the feeling she didn't want to service me, I called in to get a pedicure and asked if someone may have time for a full set, if not I didn't mind at all. Maybe she was tired, it was the end of the day. Either way, the least someone can do is say hey here's some ointment, let's clean it, and ask me what I want to do. But it was irrelevant to her. The actual nails are another story. I asked for slim, almond shape, with a slight point on the end. Not round. Well they are very round, I asked her to fix the shape but she seemed very annoyed with her body language and attitude . My thumb nail tip was BENDING because it had too thin of a layer of acrylic!!! I showed her, she said, it will be fine once I polish it. Well I just had enough. I gave up. The polish is lumpy and uneven grooves, all over my cuticles. It's just a mess. I shaped them the best I could once I got home. I just wish they would have said no one could do it rather than have someone miserable do my nails. I actually tipped her very well because, honesty, I felt bad for her. She looked shocked but at least managed to say thank you. It was the nicest she was the whole time! I just learned my lesson. I won't be a return customer. The woman working on my feet did okay but the massage was definitely half the time and I think she was just tired at that point because I asked her to fill the acrylic on my big toe (which desperately needs a fill) and she said no. I paid for the best pedicure they offered and my feet were not even scrubbed in the back AT ALL only on the bottom where front where they didn't need it at all. I wanted to say something but the lady next to me asked them about why the mask was not put on and stays on for a minute, they told her a mask doesn't sit, they just wipe it right off...then they were all gathered around talking about it. I didn't want to be embarrassed the way they did to her. Maybe these ladies need breaks, I don't know but I feel very unhappy about not only how I was treated -but definitely the service I got -and will just move on and call it a lesson learned. read more

WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY! Not even sure how any of the women here are licensed nail techs. I started to believe that the nail licenses that were present could have been any name because wow. I was so disappointed from the moment I sat down. Stop using that electric filer on cuticles. It hurts. Also, when I ask for callous remover, that doesn't mean scrub the arches of my feet. There is no dead skin there. HEELS, BALLS OF MY FEET & MY PINKY TOES. THATS IT. It's almost like she got a kick out of watching me squirm cause she thinks it's ticklish. I literally said "you're hurting me" and she giggled (thinking she misheard me but still) a terrible experience. The woman who did my acrylic nails was filing against the sides so hard that I was sliced multiple times by the nail file. She kept filing even after I told her I was cut and bleeding. She said "sorry" in a baby tone of voice and proceeded roughly, squeezing my fingers so hard as she applied the gel. Totally unprofessional and rude. To pay $98 for this, NEVER AGAIN. My friend that I came with even said that she had to tell the woman to take the gel off TWICE before telling her never mind because it was so bad. That woman was also rude, b*tchy, and kept rushing through. Not okay. I see why they do cash only and venmo here because people were calling their banks and cancelling the payments due to poor service. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK. I simply can not say enough great things about this salon and it's fantastic team! Everything is ALWAYS CLEAN & the techs are always friendly, professional and efficient. Even with all the changes because of Covid they have not skipped a beat. Their clients, safety and comfort are priority #1! I have tried MANY MANY salons, Bamboo is the only one that doesn't cut corners, they don't upsell you on services and truly care about their clients. Tammy and her staff know their regulars by name and greet them warmly! You feel like a part of their family and that is rare. Lastly one of the things I find most annoying at salons is when techs chit chat amongst themselves in their language making you feel talked about or left out, not only do the techs at Bamboo refrain from this rude behavior but they take the time to talk to YOU or let you relax if you don't want to talk at all and THIS I love! read more

I am looking for a new nail salon, this place was highly recommended on the local fb page so I figured I'd try them out. The salon is cute and clean, with lots of stations and pedicure chairs. Their selection of gel colors are great. I went in for a fill and pedicure. She asked what shape I wanted and told her coffin, my nails came out crooked and definitely not coffin. The gel polish was thick on my hands and toes. I got a fill, pedicure, both gel and fix one broken nail it came out to $90 not including tip. I've paid way less for better looking nails. So now I get to try to fix my nails at home. read more

I came here to get my nails done for the holidays and the nail technician talked me into getting the 'powder dip' instead of the gel because she said they last longer. The layering of the powder made my nail look super thick on top and I kept having to ask her to file them down so they do not look so chunky. They still do. I do not like the look at all. Further more, when I got home and washed my hands, all my cuticles were burning. I know she filed them too much with her drill, hence the burning. I am always uncomfortable with the excessive cuticle filing as this can introduce bacteria. A day later and they still burn and sting. Lets just hope they will not get infected.
