    I have given this place 2 chances now and both have been very bad. First time I went, I told the woman (Bel) to not use tint because I am allergic and to just be gentle with the skin around my eyes . She left residue on my eyelid (last photo) that i noticed after i left. Came back in to have her remove whatever was left over and i still ended up getting a bad reaction that caused me to have swollen and red eyelids. Second appointment (book Jackie this time hoping for a different outcome) i tell her what happened last time, she assures me she will be more careful. I did not get residue left over or a bad reaction, but my lashes are now super over processed, damaged, and brittle. They are so thin and sparse now I'm devastated. (This did not happen the first time) It was a noticeable difference. The brow lamination also caused my brows to feel very dry. Other than ... I noticed the hair she plucked out !! Why would she take a giant chunk of hair from the inner corner of my brow ?? It was not like that before my appointment and it was immediately like that after. Maybe she didn't pluck but something happened. I don't understand... anyway. Would not recommend this place and will not be returning.

    Belris might have just given me my best lashes and brows *ever*. I got a tint, lift, and lamination and I'm honestly shook. My lashes and brows look amazing. The studio is super cute and cozy, plus it's right next to a nice café, which makes the whole experience even better. I also happened to go on a super hot day and they kept the space nice and cool. Already looking forward to my next visit!

    What a breath of fresh air Belris is! I came in for a fill from a previous place i was going to but noticed that my lashes didn't last in between fills so i started searching for another option. I'm so glad i found Belris. Bel was super knowledgeable and gentle. She was also very transparent abt the horrible job my previous tech did on my lashes and recommended that i let her remove them and take a month long break from extensions while growing my natural lashes back using Belris brand growth serum. My previous tech did such a bad job that i don't have many natural lashes left!I appreciated her guidance and expertise. Bel also let me know who is the best tech to book although she said everyone who works there is a professional and great at what they specialize in. I will be booking a new set with Gloria for the end of this month. The location is also easy to find, great parking and the studio's ambiance is so tranquil and comfortable. I will be making Belris my beauty maintenance home for lashes, brow lamination and facials moving forward. Thank you Bel!

    I can't say enough good things about Belris. From the moment I walked into her salon, I felt comfortable and cared for. Her studio is clean, relaxing, and beautifully decorated, setting the perfect vibe for some much needed self-care. Belris pays attention to detail, listens to what you want and delivers results! My lashes look full and sexy yet natural. I constantly get compliments on my lashes and they last pretty well between fills. Belris is gentle, kind, professional, and skilled.

    I come here for Microblading and I wish I had come here before anyone else. The first two times I had Microblading elsewhere, the lines were uneven, leaving my eyebrows with scar tissue and an awful shade of green. Whenever I get my annual retouch with Bel, she perfects what is there and is able to darken the faded spots and scarring. I am in love with my brows now! I am a very active person and sweat a lot on my eyebrows, but these still last me through the year, making the price well worth it. Thanks, Bel!

    I got my lashes done here about three days ago. I'm not new to lash extensions, but I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new go-to spot. The studio is visually appealing and had great reviews, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the results. I paid $220 for hybrid lashes, and they were by far the thinnest set I've ever received especially considering the high price point. Even right after the appointment, they looked sparse, and now just a few days later, they look even thinner whereas normally my extensions can last 2-3 weeks max before a refill. I reached out via email to share my concerns, and the response I got was off-putting. I was told they reviewed the camera footage and saw that I looked happy and even left a cash tip--almost as if that invalidated my experience. I didn't realize that in order for a complaint to be taken seriously, I would've needed to act rude or not tip the esthetician. While they did offer to add more lashes, the tone of the response and the reliance on camera footage rather than client satisfaction left a bad impression. At this price point, the quality of both the lashes and the customer service should reflect a premium experience. The one positive thing I can say is that my eyes weren't irritated from whatever product they used, so that's a good plus for anyone with sensitive eyes.

    Lashes were nothing like what I asked for. They were stringy and wiry. They didn't even last a week. The worst I've had.$200 wasted.

    Lash lifts and eyelash extensions can be used in conjunction with each other. You would want to get the lash lift & tint done before the extensions. I would suggest to wait at least two days in between.

I recently purchased a 10-session package for $430. I only learned Alyssa was leaving because she casually mentioned it during one of my last appointments. As a client with a half-used prepaid package, I was never proactively notified, offered options, or told how my remaining services would be handled. To be fair, I genuinely tried to make the situation work. I even booked an appointment with one of the artists Alyssa personally recommended. Unfortunately, while they were kind, the results simply were not to my standards. That confirmed what I already knew: I purchased this package specifically because I trusted Alyssa's work--not simply because I wanted eyebrow threading. Feeling stuck, and without another solution, I requested a prorated refund of the unused package. I didn't ask for this refund because of any changes on my end. I requested one because the provider whose services I specifically prepaid for became unavailable indefinitely. Had Alyssa not left, I never would have requested a refund. Instead, I was expected to absorb the financial loss caused by circumstances entirely outside my control, which I believe was fundamentally unfair. Although Alyssa did agree to issue a partial refund, which I appreciate, she would only do so after retroactively repricing all of my completed appointments at the full individual session rate instead of the discounted package rate I had paid. As a result, my refund was substantially reduced. I would never have chosen to receive these services at the full individual session rate. I purchased the package because the discounted pricing reflected the value I was willing to pay. Retroactively converting completed appointments to the full retail rate fundamentally changes the financial agreement I originally accepted. I was told that Alyssa's policy only allows a package-rate refund if an artist "permanently leaves." However, "buying a one-way ticket", "planning to travel for over a year", and having "no return date"is, from a client's perspective, functionally no different. Expecting clients to leave hundreds of dollars with a business indefinitely in the hope that an artist may someday return is unreasonable and unfair. Unfortunately, this experience reflects what I now recognize as a broader pattern. When the studio transitioned to the Fresha booking app, I accidentally booked with a newly hired artist because I didn't realize the new system assigned providers differently than before. Of course, I was welcome to keep that appointment, but I am very particular about my eyebrows, and for several years Alyssa had been the only person I trusted to thread them. Rather than proceed with an artist I didn't know, I immediately explained the misunderstanding and chose to forgo the appointment and wait for Alyssa instead. Despite being a loyal client for years, there was no flexibility or grace for what was clearly an honest mistake during a confusing system transition, and I was still required to pay for an appointment I never received. I've also seen disheartening posts on her business instagram page where she appears to poke fun of clients who arrive late. While every business has the right to enforce a late policy, publicly ridiculing clients who support your business struck me as unprofessional and disappointing. Even as someone who was never once late to an appointment, I still found these posts to be incredibly off-putting. True customer service isn't only about offering clients a drink when they arrive. It is about showing respect for them in difficult situations, especially when your business can no longer fulfill its obligations. Although Alyssa's talent is undeniable, and I sincerely wish her the best with her travels, her talent doesn't excuse poor communication or unfair business practices. After six years of loyalty, I expected to be treated with far more transparency, fairness, and consideration than I received.
