This review pains me to write as a loyal customer since 2018, but after an awful experience last weekend and ignored texts and phone calls to the shop trying to resolve this privately here I am. I would just like to clarify that I have had positive experiences with almost all the nail techs here, and the person who ruined my nails I've had negative experiences in the past with that I tried to look past. My nail tech Kevin started off by coming to my scheduled mani pedi about 20 mins late and the bad manicure he gave me was in stark contrast to the lovely gal that did my pedicure Kelly. His behavior was very unprofessional as he didn't finish my nails, complained that I was moving and making him mess up (this isn't my first rodeo I'm fairly good at sitting still) & filed one of my nails until it bled and said that's just how you make the coffin shape. I don't want any hate to go to the other nail techs at the salon as I've worked with all the other ladies, but i did try to call back and even texted the owner with the images and my response was largely ignored. Yesterday I and my daughter went to go do our nails since we're going to Canada very soon and it's my brothers wedding. My daughter wanted to get acrylics for the first time so she asked the lady who was doing her nails to do what was in that photo. The lady was a elder lady who did my daughters nails unprofessionally. She didn't do the right shape nor color I'm very disappointed because I've been a customer for a long time. She was supposed to do my daughters nails step by step and not do it her way she forget to clean the extra skin part of the nail and the way she applied the nail polish was horrible. If I could give this place zero stars, I would!! I walked in at 1pm on a Sunday. There were 3 customers in the shop and a salon full of open chairs. I waited 30 minutes for someone to help me. I requested a gel manicure and pedicure. A man finally started to work on my nails. He was on a call THE ENTIRE TIME he did my nails. Sat there just chatting in his native language to the person on the phone. On FaceTime even. He set the phone down on his stand, had ear buds in, and just talked. It was so rude!! When he painted the nails, he got the polish on my skin and didn't bother to remove it. I asked the woman doing my toes if she could get it off my skin and she said it was because my nails were so short and it would wash off in a shower. She kept saying my nails were too short. It is now Friday - 5 days after the manicure. My nails look like crap!! The polish on one of my nails has already started to peel. I believe he forgot how many coats he put on and ended up putting on too many so it was too thick. The cuticle of my nail has been hurting since I walked out of the shop and is very red. Horrible customer service . I gave this place multiple chances to redeem itself. Came different days and at different times . Maggie did my mani twice and took over 2 hours and I had to correct her multiple times . She would leave gaps not colored and pulled very hard on my cuticles to the point where she made me bleed . I had to walk out and tell her I didn't want the gel manicure after almost 2 hours sitting there and my gel manicure came out mediocre. She wanted to redo it but was giving me attitude that it was my fault cause I moved and then blamed the color I picked out . I paid for the half ass pedicure . Horrible service and rude staff. I felt a bad vibe the second I walked in. I am a very patient person and also very non confrontational. After waiting for 20 minutes, no big deal, we were walk ins, completely understandable, the woman told the girl sitting in the seat she was to sit me in to "Move!" Then told her she couldn't wait in the chairs by the door, because they were for customers (this girl was maybe 14-15 years old). As I sat down, I said "I feel bad, that poor girl" And one woman, who I assume was the manager just said "No it's ok". I was really uncomfortable already. The woman starts cutting my nails immediately, I haven't been asked what I want yet, but I had two really short nails and assumed she was just making them even. Then, I showed her a picture of what I wanted, a mint, soft green. On one nail o was hoping to get a daisy. Spring time nails was what I wanted. After showing her the picture she brings over a Blue polish. I was confused and said, "No, I wanted green". "That is green. You'll see". So, I just sat there soaking my hands in cold water. Then, I told her I wanted gel, and she just straight up says "No". Not wanting to argue, I guessed maybe my nails were too short now after she cut them and said, "Oh ok, acrylic is fine". She just looked at me and said "No. I paint" Um, not what I wanted at all! When I got there I said I wanted a manicure, not my nails painted. So she keeps going and by this time I'm just like, whatever, I'll just get them painted and go somewhere else later for gel. Then, she paints them Blue. I said, No, I want green. So I get up to find a color. I find one that can maybe pass for a green, but I was so annoyed and felt so unwelcome I just wanted to be done and go home. she starts painting and then just stops and says, before I paint anymore you have to pay for you, and your daughters. I looked at her and said "you want me to pay for this before you finish?" She nodded. That's when I'd had enough; they did NOT want us there, they made it very clear. So I said "How about this? You stop, and I just leave.", people look at us because I wasn't yelling, but I was NOT quiet either. I said to the entire salon "I'm sorry I just feel like you guys just don't want me here" That moment was when another woman made my daughter try to talk to me saying it's normal to pay before the nails are done. 1) No it's not, I've never in over 25 years of getting my nails done had someone STOP in the middle and say they won't continue until I pay. Like I was a criminal about to run out on a shitty paint job and 2) I left because you were rude, disrespectful and refused to give me what I asked for. If you're too busy, turn people away, don't treat them garbage and like they are annoying you with their business. It's ok to tell people you're too busy and to make an appointment. But when you have a sign that says "Walk ins welcome" - people are going to assume, walking in is ok. Humiliating, awful and my daughter who's nails did get completed are uneven, not the style she asked for and kind of ugly to be honest. Horrible service and a child could do a better paint job. I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this establishment, and go somewhere else. When you run a business that's a dime a dozen and people have multiple options, you might not want to be a bitch. My Mother - daughter Day was ruined because they felt like being bitches and also, if you're going to talk shit on customers when they're still in your shop, maybe make sure the girl your gossiping to doesn't turn around and look at the customer and laugh while you're talking. So I went to this nail salon on the reviews from YELP. I was impressed immediately by the decor. Not your typical nail salon decorations! It was very clean, and they carried OPI nail polish which is a plus in my book. My Nail technician was Paula. Hands down, the best pedicure I have ever had! I did go for the upgrades, callus remover and Sea salt scrub massage. I would probably fore-go the callus remover, but I will definitely go back for the scrub massage! for $4 extra, you get an exfoliating massage of the feet and legs. The massage was long and relaxing. I thought that was my massage, but it wasn't! She rinsed my legs, and continued to massage warm lotion for at least another 10 minutes! I will definitely be returning to Deluxe Nail Spa to see Paula! (I did not get a water when I walked in, I did notice the other patrons had bottles. I am sure if I would have asked, it would have been no problem!) read more

I had my nails done at a salon about 5 minutes from Deluxe. I went in asking for ombré and coffin shaped and walked out with some sad nails. I knew I needed them fixed and the original salon didn't know what they were doing, so I called up Deluxe. I have never been, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I was able to call and get in immediately and Kevin fixed my nails shape and add more glitter! He was able to look at the original photo and fix my nails without putting a new set on! He was so kind and really caring. I will definitely be back and hope on making this salon my new home! (Photo attaches for reference. Use caution if going here. I've been coming here for over 15 years. My daughter got over charged on a dip nail set. She walked out and after not feeling right about it, she walked back in and asked. Indeed she was overcharged, they apologized and gave her the extra she paid back. I overlooked it as a one time mistake, like I said I've been going for years. Well I recently started doing dip nails and I got overcharged $10. So the employee made a $17 tip on what should been a $38 charge. I asked Anna the owner. She said I gave him a big tip, I said I was overcharged. She said "you must have misunderstood him" no apology no $ back. We will not be going back, she lost 2 loyal customers. Further more an employee told me I need to confirm the price with Anna before the service because employees have overcharged clients. There is no price list posted in the salon. Been going here for years. And, knew to avoid one manicurist in particular that took a chunk out of my cuticles at Finest Nails, and cleaned off the open wound with acetone. It took me a month to get rid of the infection on my toe. Well, today I forgot to say no. Big mistake! She earned the title of the "Nail Nazi" all over again . She went to town with the cuticle clippers again. I had to ask her to stop. I'm sure I'll have some scabs tomorrow. She massaged one leg only. It was weird! Then, put on no base coat under my French manicure. I asked for a red/white/blue design for memorial day. Instead, she did white flowers with red and green rhinestones. After specifically asking the waxing lady to get stray eyebrow hairs only, she decides to reshape and rip off half my eyebrows. Completely incompetent, not to mention the communication issues. I know many nail salon workers don't speak perfect English, but theirs is worse than others and don't even attempt to understand if they don't get what you're saying. I like this nail salon. My sister and I went here on a whim after I was done with work one Friday afternoon two weeks ago. I got a gel manicure and it's still in good shape. It has grown out, but it's not horrible, and I have all of one chip in one of my nails from being hard on them. I will eventually remove them myself and go back. read more

This place really needs to reassess whether or not they want to stay in business or just close up shop. I tried to like this place and even gave them a second chance to leave me with a better opinion of them but they failed miserably. They are sloppy, over priced for the service they offer and overall have no respect for their customers. Both times, I asked for the same service and both times it was horrid. I bust my tail for my $$ and one of the few frivolous things I do for myself is get my nails and toes done. I deserve to receive good service if I'm paying the price for it. I was in dire need of a little pampering in the form of a mani/pedi. So i turned to yelp in my time of need and it brought me to Deluxe Nails and Spa. I had to wait about 10-15 minutes because all the ladies were busy when I arrived. But as promised by the other yelpers, I was given bottled water while I waited. And like the other yelpers, I am in full agreement that this nail salon is very clean looking. I like a nail salon I can trust because I've learned about all the lovely fungi there is out there :] The foot and hand massage were just what I needed. Good pressure and it lasted a good amount of time. It was also followed with the complement that I have soft hands, lol. I was really satisfied with my pedicure. My french manicure..... was oooo-kay. I am quite picky about when the top coat dries and leaves those little bubbles. My old girl used to make sure no bubbles made their way onto my nails. When I left, I noticed many bubbles :[ I was also a little turned off by their price. My total ended up being $33 + $2 tip for the lady who started my manicure + $5 tip for the lady who did everything else. That was probably a little more than I wanted to spend, oops :X I wouldn't say that I won't come back to Deluxe Nails and Spa, but I might try other spots in town before I make my return. read more

This is the cleanest nail salon in this area, except for going to a spa. They are sooo clean and everything is individually packaged and used only for you, which I love. They do a great job and their prices are good. They speak English, do not ask you if you want add-ons or upgrades, which I love. They give you a bottled water when you walk in which is nice. I love this salon! I have been going to Deluxe Nail and Spa since they opened over 11 years ago. I actually had Anna, the owner as my go to nail girl for years before she opened this salon. Every person who works for Anna is expected to show the same hospitality , service and procedures that Anna follows. I am comfortable having any one of her very skilled employees do my nails or toes. I've come in right as they were going to close and they still took me in that night...anyway i'll talk about my most recent visit. I made an appointment for 9:30am for a mani/pedi...i got french gel nails...:) and a really cute pink pedi... They did an amazing job...I don't really remember the name of the girl that does my nails...but she's awesome...she's been doing my nails for a while now...although i haven't gone in for a 4-5 months...she did them the last time i was there! she's bomb. She cleaned up my cuticles and rounded out my nails...she's super detailed and asks you if you like what she's doing before she progresses to the next step. If i can get her name i'll update this review with it! My feet were in dire need of some attention as well..and can i say...they did a great job on my feet. :) What i think is so great about this place is their cleanliness...i think it's pretty tiptop they always clean the foot spa area and everything always comes out in the sterilized baggies...that makes me feel so much cleaner...:) The people were extremely detailed...and well the only thing that i'm a little disappointed with is they didn't give me a bottle of water! :( BOOOOOO! read more
